ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜਾਣੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਸ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਗਦੀ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਲ ਹੈ।
