இரதங்களில் பாதிபங்குக்குத் தலைவனாகிய சிம்ரி என்னும் அவன் ஊழியக்காரன் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணி, அவன் திர்சாவிலே அவ்விடத்து அரமனை உக்கிராணக்காரனாகிய அர்சாவின் வீட்டிலே குடித்து வெறி கொண்டிருக்கையில்,

சிம்ரி ஏலாவின் அதிகாரிகளுள் ஒருவன். இரதப் படையின் பாதிக்குத் தளபதி. இவன் ஏலாவிற்கு எதிராகக் திட்டமிட்டான். அரசன் திர்சாவில் அர்சாவின் வீட்டில் குடித்தும் குடிக்க வைத்துக்கொண்டும் இருந்தான். அர்சா அரண்மனை பொறுப்பாளி.
