உன்னதமானவர் மனுஷருடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் ஆளுகைசெய்து தமக்குச் சித்தமாயிருக்கிறவனுக்கு அதைக்கொடுக்கிறார் என்பதை நீர் அறிந்துகொள்ளுமட்டும் ஏழு காலங்கள் உம்முடையபேரில் கடந்துபோகவேண்டும்.

உன் மக்களின் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக நிற்கிற பெரிய அதிபதியாகிய மிகாவேல் அக்காலத்திலே எழும்புவான். எந்தவொரு தேசத்தார்களும் தோன்றினதுமுதல் அக்காலம்வரை உண்டாயிராத ஆபத்துக்காலம் வரும்; அக்காலத்திலே புத்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறவர்களாகக் காணப்படுகிற உன் மக்கள் அனைவரும் விடுவிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

“தரிசனத்தில் அந்த ஆள், தானியேலே, அந்த நேரத்தில், பெரிய அதிபதியாகிய மிகாவேல் தூதன் எழுந்து நிற்பான். மிகாவேல் உனது யூத ஜனங்களுக்கு பொறுப்பானவன். மிகத் துன்பமான ஒரு காலம் வரும். பூமியில் தேசங்கள் தோன்றிய நாள் முதலாக இதுபோன்ற துன்பகாலம் ஏற்பட்டிருக்காது. ஆனால் தானியேலே, அந்த நேரத்தில், உன் ஜனங்களில் எவருடைய பெயர் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறதோ அவர்கள் பாதுகாக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரருக்காக நிற்கிற பெரிய அதிபதியாகிய மிகாவேல் அக்காலத்திலே எழும்புவான். யாதொரு ஜாதியாரும் தோன்றினதுமுதல் அக்காலமட்டும் உண்டாயிராத ஆபத்துக்காலம் வரும்; அக்காலத்திலே புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறவர்களாகக் காணப்படுகிற உன் ஜனங்கள் அனைவரும் விடுவிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
