1 Kings 15 in Tamil

1 நேபாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய யெரொபெயாம் என்னும் ராஜாவின் பதினெட்டாம் வருஷத்திலே அபியாம் யூதாவின்மேல் ராஜாவாகி, Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.

2 மூன்று வருஷம் எருசலேமில் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணினான்; அப்சலோமின் குமாரத்தியாகிய அவனுடைய தாயின் பேர் மாகாள். Three years reigned he in Jerusalem. and his mother's name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.

3 தன் தகப்பன் தனக்கு முன்செய்த எல்லாப் பாவங்களிலும் அவன் நடந்தான்; அவன் இருதயம் அவன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் இருதயத்தைப்போல், தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக உத்தமமாயிருக்கவில்லை. And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.

4 ஆனாலும் தாவீதினிமித்தம் அவனுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், அவனுக்குப் பிற்பாடு அவன் குமாரனை எழும்பப்பண்ணுகிறதினாலும், எருசலேமை நிலை நிறுத்துகிறதினாலும், அவனுக்கு எருசலேமில் ஒரு விளக்கைக் கட்டளையிட்டு வந்தார். Nevertheless for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:

5 தாவீது ஏத்தியனாகிய உரியாவின் சங்கதி ஒன்றுதவிர கர்த்தர் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டதிலே தான் உயிரோடிருந்த நாளெல்லாம் ஒன்றையும் விட்டு விலகாமல், அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்துவந்தான். Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

6 ரெகொபொயாமுக்கும் யெரொபெயாமுக்கும் அவர்கள் இருந்த நாட்களிலெல்லாம் யுத்தம் நடந்துகொண்டிருந்தது. And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.

7 அபியாமின் மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்களும், அவன் செய்தவை யாவும் யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது; அபியாமுக்கும் யெரொபெயாமுக்கும் யுத்தம் நடந்துகொண்டிருந்தது. Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.

8 அபியாம் தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்தபின், அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஆசா அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.

9 இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் இருபதாம் வருஷத்திலே ஆசா யூதாவின்மேல் ராஜாவாகி, And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Asa over Judah.

10 நாற்பத்தொரு வருஷம் எருசலேமில் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணினான்; அப்சலோமின் குமாரத்தியாகிய அவனுடைய தாயின் பேர் மாகாள். And forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.

11 ஆசா தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதைப் போல் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்தான். And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.

12 அவன் இலச்சையான புணர்ச்சிக் காரரை தேசத்திலிருந்து அகற்றி, தன் பிதாக்கள் உண்டுபண்ணின நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களையெல்லாம் விலக்கி, And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

13 தோப்பிலே அருவருப்பான விக்கிரகத்தை உண்டுபண்ணின தன் தாயாகிய மாகாளையும் ராஜாத்தியாய் இராத படிக்கு விலக்கிவிட்டான்; அவளுடைய விக்கிரகத்தையும் ஆசா நிர்மூலமாக்கி, கீதரோன் ஆற்றண்டையிலே சுட்டெரித்துப்போட்டான். And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.

14 மேடைகளோ தகர்க்கப்படவில்லை; ஆனாலும் ஆசா உயிரோடிருந்த நாளெல்லாம் அவன் இருதயம் கர்த்தரோடே உத்தமமாயிருந்தது. But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the LORD all his days.

15 தன் தகப்பனும் தானும் பரிசுத்தப் படுத்தும்படி நேர்ந்துகொண்ட வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் பணிமுட்டுகளையும் அவன் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலே கொண்டுவந்தான். And he brought in the things which his father had dedicated, and the things which himself had dedicated, into the house of the LORD, silver, and gold, and vessels.

16 ஆசாவுக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய பாஷாவுக்கும் அவர்களுடைய நாட்களிலெல்லாம் யுத்தம் நடந்துகொண்டிருந்தது. And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.

17 ஒருவரும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவினிடத்தில் போக்குவரத்தாயிராதபடிக்கு, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய பாஷா யூதாவுக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து ராமாவைக் கட்டினான். And Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, that he might not suffer any to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.

18 அப்பொழுது ஆசா கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் பொக்கிஷங்களில் மீதியான எல்லா வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும், ராஜாவின் அரமனையின் பொக்கிஷங்களையும் எடுத்து, அவைகளைத் தன் ஊழியக்காரர் கையிலே தமஸ்குவில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற எசியோனின் மகனாகிய தப்ரிமோனின் குமாரன் பெனாதாத் என்னும் சீரியாவின் ராஜாவுக்குக் கொடுத்தனுப்பி: Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

19 எனக்கும் உமக்கும் என் தகப்பனுக்கும் உம்முடைய தகப்பனுக்கும் உடன்படிக்கை உண்டே; இதோ, உமக்கு வெகுமதியாய் வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் அனுப்புகிறேன்; இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய பாஷா என்னைவிட்டு விலகிப் போகும்படிக்கு, நீர் வந்து அவனோடு செய்த உடன்படிக்கையைத் தள்ளிப்போடும் என்று சொல்லச் சொன்னான். There is a league between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.

20 பெனாதாத், ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, தனக்கு உண்டான சேனாபதிகளை இஸ்ரவேலின் பட்டணங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக அனுப்பி, ஈயோனையும், தாணையும் பெத்மாக்கா என்னும் ஆபேலையும் கின்னரேத் அனைத்தையும் நப்தலியின் முழுத்தேசத்தோடுங் கூடமுறிய அடித்தான். So Benhadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of the hosts which he had against the cities of Israel, and smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelbethmaachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

21 பாஷா அதைக் கேட்டபோது, ராமாவைக் கட்டுகிறதை விட்டு திர்சாவிலிருந்துவிட்டான். And it came to pass, when Baasha heard thereof, that he left off building of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

22 அப்பொழுது ராஜாவாகிய ஆசா யூதா எங்கும் ஒருவரும் தப்பாமல் எல்லாரும் போய், பாஷா கட்டின ராமாவின்கற்களையும் அதின் மரங்களையும் எடுத்துவர பறைமுறை இடுவித்து; அவைகளினால் பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலுள்ள கேபாவையும் மிஸ்பாவையும் கட்டினான். Then king Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had builded; and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.

23 ஆசாவின் மற்ற எல்லா வர்த்தமானங்களும், அவனுடைய எல்லா வல்லமையும், அவன் செய்தவை யாவும், அவன் கட்டின பட்டணங்களின் வரலாறும், யூதாவுடைய ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது; அவன் முதிர்வயதான காலத்தில் அவனுடைய கால்களில் வியாதி கண்டிருந்தது. And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead.

25 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவின் இரண்டாம் வருஷத்திலே யெரொபெயாமின் குமாரனாகிய நாதாப் இஸ்ரவேலின் மேல் ராஜாவாகி, இரண்டு வருஷம் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணினான். And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned over Israel two years.

26 அவன் கர்த்தருடைய பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, தன் தகப்பன் வழியிலும், அவன் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணின அவனுடைய பாவத்திலும் நடந்தான். And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.

27 இசக்கார் வம்சத்தானாகிய அகியாவின் குமாரனான பாஷா, அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணி, நாதாபும் இஸ்ரவேலனைத்தும் பெலிஸ்தருக்கு இருந்த கிபெத்தோனை முற்றிக்கைபோட்டிருக்கையில், பாஷா அவனைக் கிபெத்தோனிலே வெட்டிப்போட்டான். And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha smote him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel laid siege to Gibbethon.

28 பாஷா யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவின் மூன்றாம் வருஷத்திலே அவனைக் கொன்றுபோட்டபின், அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். Even in the third year of Asa king of Judah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his stead.

29 அப்பொழுது யெரொபெயாம் செய்ததும், இஸ்ரவேலைச் செய்யப்பண்ணினதுமான பாவங்களினிமித்தமும், அவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு உண்டாக்கின கோபத்தினிமித்தமும், கர்த்தர் சீலோனியனான அகியா என்னும் தமது ஊழியக்காரனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லியிருந்த வார்த்தையின்படியே, And it came to pass, when he reigned, that he smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according unto the saying of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite:

30 அவன் ராஜாவானபின் அவன் யெரொபெயாமின் வீட்டாரையெல்லாம் வெட்டிப்போட்டான்; யெரொபெயாமுக்கு இருந்த சுவாசமுள்ளதொன்றையும் அவன் அழிக்காமல் விடவில்லை. Because of the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and which he made Israel sin, by his provocation wherewith he provoked the LORD God of Israel to anger.

32 ஆசாவுக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாவாகிய பாஷாவுக்கும் அவர்கள் நாட்களிலெல்லாம் யுத்தம் நடந்துகொண்டிருந்தது. And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.

33 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவின் மூன்றாம் வருஷத்திலே அகியாவின் குமாரனாகிய பாஷா, இஸ்ரவேலனைத்தின் மேலும் திர்சாவிலே ராஜாவாகி இருபத்து நாலு வருஷம் ஆண்டு, In the third year of Asa king of Judah began Baasha the son of Ahijah to reign over all Israel in Tirzah, twenty and four years.

34 கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, யெரொபெயாமின் வழியிலும், அவன் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணின அவனுடைய பாவத்திலும் நடந்தான். And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.

1 Naepaaththin kumaaranaakiya yeropeyaam ennum raajaavin pathinettam varushaththilae apiyaam yoothaavinmael raajaavaaki, Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.

2 Moontu varusham erusalaemil raajyapaarampannnninaan; apsalomin kumaaraththiyaakiya avanutaiya thaayin paer maakaal. Three years reigned he in Jerusalem. and his mother's name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.

3 Than thakappan thanakku munseytha ellaap paavangalilum avan nadanthaan; avan iruthayam avan thakappanaakiya thaaveethin iruthayaththaippol, than thaevanaakiya karththarukku munpaaka uththamamaayirukkavillai. And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.

4 Aanaalum thaaveethinimiththam avanutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar, avanukkup pirpaadu avan kumaaranai elumpappannnukirathinaalum, erusalaemai nilai niraுththukirathinaalum, avanukku erusalaemil oru vilakkaik kattalaiyittu vanthaar. Nevertheless for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:

5 David aeththiyanaakiya uriyaavin sangathi ontuthavira Karththar thanakkuk kattalaiyittathilae thaan uyirotiruntha naalellaam ontaiyum vittu vilakaamal, avar paarvaikkuch semmaiyaanathaich seythuvanthaan. Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

6 Rekopoyaamukkum yeropeyaamukkum avarkal iruntha naatkalilellaam yuththam nadanthukonntirunthathu. And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.

7 Apiyaamin matta varththamaanangalum, avan seythavai yaavum yoothaavutaiya raajaakkalin naalaakamap pusthakaththil allavo eluthiyirukkirathu; apiyaamukkum yeropeyaamukkum yuththam nadanthukonntirunthathu. Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.

8 Apiyaam than pithaakkalotae niththiraiyatainthapin, avanaith thaaveethin nakaraththil adakkampannnninaarkal; avan kumaaranaakiya aasaa avan sthaanaththil raajaavaanaan. And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.

9 Isravaelin raajaavaakiya yeropeyaamin irupathaam varushaththilae aasaa yoothaavinmael raajaavaaki, And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Asa over Judah.

10 Naarpaththoru varusham erusalaemil raajyapaarampannnninaan; apsalomin kumaaraththiyaakiya avanutaiya thaayin paer maakaal. And forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.

11 Aasaa than thakappanaakiya thaaveethaip pol karththarin paarvaikkuch semmaiyaanathaich seythaan. And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.

12 Avan ilachchaைyaana punarchchik kaararai thaesaththilirunthu akatti, than pithaakkal unndupannnnina narakalaana vikkirakangalaiyellaam vilakki, And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

13 Thoppilae aruvaruppaana vikkirakaththai unndupannnnina than thaayaakiya maakaalaiyum raajaaththiyaay iraatha patikku vilakkivittan; avalutaiya vikkirakaththaiyum aasaa nirmoolamaakki, geetharon aattanntaiyilae sutteriththuppottan. And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.

14 Maetaikalo thakarkkappadavillai; aanaalum aasaa uyirotiruntha naalellaam avan iruthayam karththarotae uththamamaayirunthathu. But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the LORD all his days.

15 Than thakappanum thaanum Parisuththap paduththumpati naernthukonnda velliyaiyum ponnaiyum pannimuttukalaiyum avan karththarutaiya aalayaththilae konnduvanthaan. And he brought in the things which his father had dedicated, and the things which himself had dedicated, into the house of the LORD, silver, and gold, and vessels.

16 Aasaavukkum isravaelin raajaavaakiya paashaavukkum avarkalutaiya naatkalilellaam yuththam nadanthukonntirunthathu. And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.

17 Oruvarum yoothaavin raajaavaakiya aasaavinidaththil pokkuvaraththaayiraathapatikku, isravaelin raajaavaakiya paashaa yoothaavukku virothamaaka vanthu raamaavaik kattinaan. And Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, that he might not suffer any to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.

18 Appoluthu aasaa karththarutaiya aalayaththin pokkishangalil meethiyaana ellaa velliyaiyum ponnaiyum, raajaavin aramanaiyin pokkishangalaiyum eduththu, avaikalaith than ooliyakkaarar kaiyilae thamaskuvil vaasamaayirukkira esiyonin makanaakiya thaprimonin kumaaran penaathaath ennum seeriyaavin raajaavukkuk koduththanuppi: Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

19 Enakkum umakkum en thakappanukkum ummutaiya thakappanukkum udanpatikkai unntae; itho, umakku vekumathiyaay velliyaiyum ponnaiyum anuppukiraேn; isravaelin raajaavaakiya paashaa ennaivittu vilakip pokumpatikku, neer vanthu avanodu seytha udanpatikkaiyaith thallippodum entu sollach sonnaan. 20 Penaathaath, raajaavaakiya aasaavukkuch sevikoduththu, thanakku unndaana senaapathikalai isravaelin pattanangalukku virothamaaka anuppi, eeyonaiyum, thaannaiyum pethmaakkaa ennum aapaelaiyum kinnaraeth anaiththaiyum napthaliyin muluththaesaththodung koodamuriya atiththaan. 21 Paashaa athaik kaettapothu, raamaavaik kattukirathai vittu thirsaavilirunthuvittan. And it came to pass, when Baasha heard thereof, that he left off building of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

22 Appoluthu raajaavaakiya aasaa yoothaa engum oruvarum thappaamal ellaarum poy, paashaa kattina raamaavinkarkalaiyum athin marangalaiyum eduththuvara paraimurai iduviththu; avaikalinaal penyameen koththiraththilulla kaepaavaiyum mispaavaiyum kattinaan. 24 Aasaa than pithaakkalotae niththiraiyatainthapin, than thakappanaakiya thaaveethin nakaraththilae than pithaakkalanntaiyil adakkampannnappattan; avan kumaaranaakiya yosapaath avan sthaanaththilae raajaavaanaan. And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead.

25 Yoothaavin raajaavaakiya aasaavin iranndaam varushaththilae yeropeyaamin kumaaranaakiya naathaap isravaelin mael raajaavaaki, iranndu varusham isravaelinmael raajyapaarampannnninaan. And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned over Israel two years.

26 Avan karththarutaiya paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythu, than thakappan valiyilum, avan isravaelaip paavanjaெyyappannnnina avanutaiya paavaththilum nadanthaan. And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.

27 Isakkaar vamsaththaanaakiya akiyaavin kumaaranaana paashaa, avanukku virothamaayk kattuppaadupannnni, naathaapum isravaelanaiththum pelistharukku iruntha kipeththonai muttikkaipottirukkaiyil, paashaa avanaik kipeththonilae vettippottan.
