நாம் மரிப்பது நிச்சயம், திரும்பச்சேர்க்கக் கூடாதபடிக்கு, தரையிலே சுவறுகிற தண்ணீரைப்போல் இருக்கிறோம்; தேவன் ஜீவனை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாமல், துரத்துண்டவன் முற்றிலும் தம்மைவிட்டு விலக்கப்படாதிருக்கும் நினைவுகளை நினைக்கிறார்.

நாம் எல்லோரும் ஒரு நாள் மரிப்போம். நாம் நிலத்தில் சிந்திய தண்ணீரைப் போன்றவர்கள். யாரும் அத்தண்ணீரை நிலத்திலிருந்து மீண்டும் சேகரிக்க முடியாது. தேவன் மக்களை மன்னிப்பாரென்று உமக்குத் தெரியும். பாதுகாப்பான இடத்திற்கு விரட்டப்பட்ட ஜனங்களுக்காக தேவன் திட்டம் வகுத்திருக்கிறார். தேவன் தம்மிடமிருந்து ஓடிப் போகும்படி அவர்களை வற்புறுத்தமாட்டார்.

நாம் மரிப்பது நிச்சயம், திரும்பச்சேர்க்கக் கூடாதபடிக்கு, தரையிலே சுவறுகிற தண்ணீரைப்போல் இருக்கிறோம்; தேவன் ஜீவனை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாமல், துரத்துண்டவன் முற்றிலும் தம்மைவிட்டு விலக்கப்படாதிருக்கும் நினைவுகளை நினைக்கிறார்.
