Deuteronomy 2 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தர் எனக்குச் சொல்லியபடி நாம் திரும்பி, சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்திற்குப் போகிற வழியாய் வனாந்தரத்திற்குப் பிரயாணம்பண்ணி, அநேக நாள் சேயீர் நாட்டைச் சுற்றித்திரிந்தோம். Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

2 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

3 நீங்கள் இந்த மலைநாட்டைச் சுற்றித் திரிந்தது போதும்; வடக்கே திரும்புங்கள். Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

4 ஜனங்களுக்கு நீ கட்டளையிடவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: சேயீரிலே குடியிருக்கிற ஏசாவின் புத்திரரான உங்கள் சகோதரரின் எல்லையைக் கடக்கப்போகிறீர்கள்; அவர்கள் உங்களுக்குப் பயப்படுவார்கள்; நீங்களோ மிகவும் எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

5 அவர்களோடே போர்ச்செய்யவேண்டாம்; அவர்கள் தேசத்திலே ஒரு அடி நிலமும் உங்களுக்குக் கொடேன்; சேயீர் மலைநாட்டை ஏசாவுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன். Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

6 போஜனபதார்த்தங்களை அவர்கள் கையிலே பணத்திற்கு வாங்கிப் புசித்து, தண்ணீரையும் அவர்கள் கையிலே பணத்திற்கு வாங்கிக் குடியுங்கள். Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

7 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் கைக்கிரியைகளிளெல்லாம் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்து வருகிறார்; இந்தப் பெரிய வனாந்தரவழியாய் நீ நடந்துவருகிறதை அறிவார்; இந்த நாற்பது வருஷமும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னோடே இருந்தார்; உனக்கு ஒன்றும் குறைவுபடவில்லை என்று சொல் என்றார். For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

8 அப்படியே நாம் சேயீரிலே குடியிருக்கிற நம்முடைய சகோதரராகிய ஏசாவின் புத்திரரை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, அந்தரவெளி வழியாய் ஏலாத்மேலும், எசியோன்கேபேர்மேலும் போய், திரும்பிக்கொண்டு, மோவாப் வனாந்தரவழியாய் வந்தோம். And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

9 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ மோவாபை வருத்தப்படுத்தாமலும், அவர்களோடே போர்செய்யாமலும் இரு; அவர்கள் தேசத்தில் உனக்கு ஒன்றும் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடேன்; ஆர் என்னும் பட்டணத்தின் சீமையை லோத் புத்திரருக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தேன். And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

10 திரளானவர்களும் ஏனாக்கியரைப்போல நெடியவர்களுமான பலத்த ஜனங்களாகிய ஏமியர் அதில் முன்னே குடியிருந்தார்கள். The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

11 அவர்களும் ஏனாக்கியரையொத்த இராட்சதர் என்று எண்ணப்பட்டார்கள்; மோவாபியரோ அவர்களை ஏமியர் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள். Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites called them Emims.

12 ஓரியரும் சேயீரில் முன்னே குடியிருந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தாரை இθ்ரவேҠύ துரத்Ġοனதρபோல, ஏசޠεοன் ʠρத்திரர் அந்த ஓரியரைத் துரத்தி, அவர்களைத் தங்கள் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாக அழித்து, அவர்கள் இருந்த ஸ்தானத்தில் குடியேறினார்கள். The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

13 நீங்கள் எழுந்து, சேரேத் ஆற்றைக் கடந்துபோங்கள் என்று சொன்னார்; அப்படியே சேரேத் ஆற்றைக் கடந்தோம். Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

14 யுத்த மனிதரான அந்தச் சந்ததியெல்லாம் கர்த்தர் தங்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டபடியே பாளயத்தின் நடுவிலிருந்து மாண்டுபோக, நாம் காதேஸ்பர்னேயாவை விட்டுப்புறப்பட்டது முதற்கொண்டு, சேரேத் ஆற்றைக் கடக்குமட்டும், சென்ற காலம் முப்பத்தெட்டு வருஷமாயிற்று. And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

15 அவர்கள் பாளயத்தின் நடுவிலிருந்து மாண்டு ஒழியுமட்டும் கர்த்தரின் கை அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கும்படிக்கு அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாயிருந்தது. For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

16 யுத்தமனிதர் எல்லாரும் ஜனத்தின் நடுவிலிருந்து செத்துத் தீர்ந்தபின்பு, So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

17 கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: That the LORD spake unto me, saying,

18 நீ ஆர் பட்டணம் இருக்கிற மோவாபின் எல்லையை இன்றைக்குக் கடந்து, Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

19 அம்மோன் புத்திரருக்கு எதிராகச் சேரப்போகிறாய்; நீ அவர்களை வருத்தப்படுத்தவும் அவர்களோடே போர் செய்யவும் வேண்டாம்; அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் தேசத்தில் ஒன்றும் உனக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடேன்; அதை லோத் புத்திரருக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன். And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

20 அதுவும் இராட்சதருடைய தேசமாக எண்ணப்பட்டது; முற்காலத்தில் இராட்சதர் அதிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள், அம்மோனியர் அவர்களைச் சம்சூமியர் என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள். (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

21 அவர்கள் திரளானவர்களும் ஏனாக்கியரைப்போல நெடியவர்களுமான பலத்த ஜனங்களாயிருந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தரோ சேயீரில் குடியிருந்த ஏசாவின் புத்திரருக்கு முன்பாக ஓரியரை அழிக்க, அவர்கள் அந்த ஜனங்களைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, அவர்கள் இருந்த ஸ்தானத்தில் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் குடியிருக்கிறதுபோலவும், A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

22 கப்தோரிலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட கப்தோரியர் ஆசேரீம் தொடங்கி ஆசாமட்டும் குடியிருந்த ஆவியரை அழித்து, அவர்கள் இருந்த ஸ்தானத்திலே குடியேறினதுபோலவும், As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

23 கர்த்தர் அவர்களை இவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழியப்பண்ண, இவர்கள் அவர்களைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, அவர்கள் இருந்த ஸ்தானத்திலே குடியேறினார்கள். And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

24 நீங்கள் எழுந்து பிரயாணம்பண்ணி, அர்னோன் ஆற்றைக் கடந்துபோங்கள்; எஸ்போனின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோன் என்னும் எமோரியனையும் அவன் தேசத்தையும் உன் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன்; இதுமுதல் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி அவனோடே யுத்தஞ்செய். Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

25 வானத்தின்கீழ் எங்குமுள்ள ஜனங்கள் உன்னாலே திகிலும் பயமும் அடையும்படி செய்ய இன்று நான் தொடங்குவேன்; அவர்கள் உன் கீர்த்தியைக் கேட்டு, உன்னிமித்தம் நடுங்கி, வேதனைப்படுவார்கள் என்றார். This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

26 அப்பொழுது நான் கெதெமோத் வனாந்தரத்திலிருந்து எஸ்போனின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோனிடத்தில், சமாதான வார்த்தைகளைச் சொல்லும்படி ஸ்தானாபதிகளை அனுப்பி: And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

27 நான் உம்முடைய தேசத்தைக் கடந்துபோகும்படி உத்தரவுகொடும்; வலதுபுறம் இடதுபுறம் சாயாமல் பெரும்பாதை வழியாய் நடப்பேன். Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

28 சேயீரில் குடியிருக்கிற ஏசாவின் புத்திரரும், ஆர் பட்டணத்தில் குடியிருக்கிற மோவாபியரும் எனக்குச் செய்ததுபோல, நீரும் நான் யோர்தானைக் கடந்து, எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிற தேசத்தில் சேருமட்டும், Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

29 எனக்குப் புசிக்க ஆகாரத்தையும் குடிக்கத் தண்ணீரையும் கிரயத்துக்குத் தாரும்; நான் கால்நடையாய்க் கடந்துபோகமாத்திரம் உத்தரவுகொடும் என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினேன். (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

30 ஆனாலும் தன் தேசத்தைக் கடந்துபோகும்படி, எஸ்போனின் ராஜாவாகிய சீகோன் நமக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுக்கவில்லை; இந்நாளில் இருக்கிறதுபோல, உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவனை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்படி, அவன் மனதைக் கடினப்படுத்தி, அவன் இருதயத்தை உரங்கொள்ளப்பண்ணியிருந்தார். But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

31 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: இதோ, சீகோனையும் அவன் தேசத்தையும் உனக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்போகிறேன்; இதுமுதல் அவன் தேசத்தை வசப்படுத்தி, சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள் என்றார். And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.

32 சீகோன் தன்னுடைய எல்லா ஜனங்களோடுங்கூட நம்மோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணப் புறப்பட்டு, யாகாசிலே வந்தான். Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

33 அவனை நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; நாம் அவனையும் அவன் குமாரரையும் அவனுடைய சகல ஜனங்களையும் முறிய அடித்து, And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

34 அக்காலத்தில் அவன் பட்டணங்களையெல்லாம் பிடித்து, சகல பட்டணங்களையும், ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல் சங்காரம்பண்ணினோம். And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

35 மிருகஜீவன்களையும் நாம் பிடித்த பட்டணங்களையுமாத்திரம் நமக்கென்று வைத்துக்கொண்டோம். Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

36 அர்னோன் ஆற்றங்கரையில் இருக்கிற ஆரோவேரும் ஆற்றண்டையில் இருக்கிற பட்டணமும் தொடங்கி, கீலேயாத்வரைக்கும் நமக்கு எதிர்த்துநிற்கத்தக்க அரணிப்பான பட்டணம் இருந்ததில்லை, எல்லாவற்றையும் நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

37 அம்மோன் புத்திரருடைய தேசத்தையும், யாபோக் ஆற்றங்கரையிலுள்ள இடங்களையும், மலைகளிலுள்ள பட்டணங்களையும், நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நமக்கு விலக்கின மற்ற இடங்களையும் சேராமல் விலகிப்போனாய். Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbade us.

1 Karththar enakkuch solliyapati naam thirumpi, sivantha samuththiraththirkup pokira valiyaay vanaantharaththirkup pirayaanampannnni, anaeka naal seyeer naattaைch suttiththirinthom. Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

2 Appoluthu Karththar ennai Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

3 Neengal intha malainaattaைch suttith thirinthathu pothum; vadakkae thirumpungal. Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

4 Janangalukku nee kattalaiyidavaenntiyathu ennavental: seyeerilae kutiyirukkira aesaavin puththiraraana ungal sakothararin ellaiyaik kadakkappokireerkal; avarkal ungalukkup payappaduvaarkal; neengalo mikavum echcharikkaiyaayirungal; And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

5 Avarkalotae porchcheyyavaenndaam; avarkal thaesaththilae oru ati nilamum ungalukkuk kotaen; seyeer malainaattaை aesaavukkuch suthantharamaakak koduththirukkiraேn. Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

6 Pojanapathaarththangalai avarkal kaiyilae panaththirku vaangip pusiththu, thannnneeraiyum avarkal kaiyilae panaththirku vaangik kutiyungal. Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

7 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar un kaikkiriyaikalilellaam unnai aaseervathiththu varukiraar; inthap periya vanaantharavaliyaay nee nadanthuvarukirathai arivaar; intha naarpathu varushamum un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnotae irunthaar; unakku ontum kuraivupadavillai entu sol entar. For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

8 Appatiyae naam seyeerilae kutiyirukkira nammutaiya sakothararaakiya aesaavin puththirarai vittup purappattu, antharaveli valiyaay aelaathmaelum, esiyonkaepaermaelum poy, thirumpikkonndu, movaap vanaantharavaliyaay vanthom. And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

9 Appoluthu Karththar ennai Nnokki: nee movaapai varuththappaduththaamalum, avarkalotae porseyyaamalum iru; avarkal thaesaththil unakku ontum suthantharamaakak kotaen; aar ennum pattanaththin seemaiyai loth puththirarukkuch suthantharamaakak koduththaen. And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

10 Thiralaanavarkalum aenaakkiyaraippola netiyavarkalumaana palaththa janangalaakiya aemiyar athil munnae kutiyirunthaarkal. The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

11 Avarkalum aenaakkiyaraiyoththa iraatchathar entu ennnappattarkal; movaapiyaro avarkalai aemiyar entu sollukiraarkal. Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites called them Emims.

12 Oriyarum seyeeril munnae kutiyirunthaarkal; Karththar thangalukkuch suthantharamaakak koduththa thaesaththaarai iθ்ravaeҠύ thurathĠοnathaρpola, aesaޠεοn ʠρththirar antha oriyaraith thuraththi, avarkalaith thangal mukaththirku munpaaka aliththu, avarkal iruntha sthaanaththil kutiyaerinaarkal. The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

13 Neengal elunthu, seraeth aattaைk kadanthupongal entu sonnaar; appatiyae seraeth aattaைk kadanthom. Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

14 Yuththa manitharaana anthach santhathiyellaam Karththar thangalukku aannaiyittapatiyae paalayaththin naduvilirunthu maanndupoka, naam kaathaesparnaeyaavai vittuppurappattathu mutharkonndu, seraeth aattaைk kadakkumattum, senta kaalam muppaththettu varushamaayittaு. And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

15 Avarkal paalayaththin naduvilirunthu maanndu oliyumattum karththarin kai avarkalai nirmoolamaakkumpatikku avarkalukku virothamaayirunthathu. For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

16 Yuththamanithar ellaarum janaththin naduvilirunthu seththuth theernthapinpu, So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

17 Karththar ennai Nnokki: That the LORD spake unto me, saying,

18 Nee aar pattanam irukkira movaapin ellaiyai intaikkuk kadanthu, Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

19 Ammon puththirarukku ethiraakach serappokiraay; nee avarkalai varuththappaduththavum avarkalotae por seyyavum vaenndaam; ammon puththirarin thaesaththil ontum unakkuch suthantharamaakak kotaen; athai loth puththirarukkuch suthantharamaakak koduththirukkiraேn. And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

20 Athuvum iraatchatharutaiya thaesamaaka ennnappattathu; murkaalaththil iraatchathar athilae kutiyirunthaarkal, ammoniyar avarkalaich samsoomiyar entu sollukiraarkal. (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

21 Avarkal thiralaanavarkalum aenaakkiyaraippola netiyavarkalumaana palaththa janangalaayirunthaarkal; karththaro seyeeril kutiyiruntha aesaavin puththirarukku munpaaka oriyarai alikka, avarkal antha janangalaith thuraththivittu, avarkal iruntha sthaanaththil innaalvaraikkum kutiyirukkirathupolavum, A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

22 Kapthorilirunthu purappatta kapthoriyar aasereem thodangi aasaamattum kutiyiruntha aaviyarai aliththu, avarkal iruntha sthaanaththilae kutiyaerinathupolavum, As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

23 Karththar avarkalai ivarkalukku munpaaka aliyappannna, ivarkal avarkalaith thuraththivittu, avarkal iruntha sthaanaththilae kutiyaerinaarkal. And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

24 Neengal elunthu pirayaanampannnni, arnon aattaைk kadanthupongal; esponin raajaavaakiya seekon ennum emoriyanaiyum avan thaesaththaiyum un kaiyilae oppukkoduththaen; ithumuthal athaich suthanthariththukkollumpati avanotae yuththanjaெy. Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

25 Vaanaththingeel engumulla janangal unnaalae thikilum payamum ataiyumpati seyya intu naan thodanguvaen; avarkal un geerththiyaik kaettu, unnimiththam nadungi, vaethanaippaduvaarkal entar. This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

26 Appoluthu naan kethemoth vanaantharaththilirunthu esponin raajaavaakiya seekonidaththil, samaathaana vaarththaikalaich sollumpati sthaanaapathikalai anuppi: And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

27 Naan ummutaiya thaesaththaik kadanthupokumpati uththaravukodum; valathupuram idathupuram saayaamal perumpaathai valiyaay nadappaen. Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

28 Seyeeril kutiyirukkira aesaavin puththirarum, aar pattanaththil kutiyirukkira movaapiyarum enakkuch seythathupola, neerum naan yorthaanaik kadanthu, engal thaevanaakiya Karththar engalukkuk kodukkira thaesaththil serumattum, Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

29 Enakkup pusikka aakaaraththaiyum kutikkath thannnneeraiyum kirayaththukkuth thaarum; naan kaalnataiyaayk kadanthupokamaaththiram uththaravukodum entu solli anuppinaen. (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

30 Aanaalum than thaesaththaik kadanthupokumpati, esponin raajaavaakiya seekon namakku uththaravu kodukkavillai; innaalil irukkirathupola, un thaevanaakiya Karththar avanai un kaiyil oppukkodukkumpati, avan manathaik katinappaduththi, avan iruthayaththai urangaொllappannnniyirunthaar. But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

31 Appoluthu Karththar ennai Nnokki: itho, seekonaiyum avan thaesaththaiyum unakku oppukkodukkappokiraேn; ithumuthal avan thaesaththai vasappaduththi, suthanthariththukkol entar. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.

32 Seekon thannutaiya ellaa janangalodungaூda nammotae yuththampannnap purappattu, yaakaasilae vanthaan. Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

33 Avanai nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar namakku oppukkoduththaar; naam avanaiyum avan kumaararaiyum avanutaiya sakala janangalaiyum muriya atiththu, And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

34 Akkaalaththil avan pattanangalaiyellaam pitiththu, sakala pattanangalaiyum, oruvaraiyum meethiyaaka vaikkaamal sangaarampannnninom. And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

35 Mirukajeevankalaiyum naam pitiththa pattanangalaiyumaaththiram namakkentu vaiththukkonntoom. Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

36 Arnon aattangaraiyil irukkira aarovaerum aattanntaiyil irukkira pattanamum thodangi, geelaeyaathvaraikkum namakku ethirththunirkaththakka arannippaana pattanam irunthathillai, ellaavattaைyum nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar namakku oppukkoduththaar. From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

37 Ammon puththirarutaiya thaesaththaiyum, yaapok aattangaraiyilulla idangalaiyum, malaikalilulla pattanangalaiyum, nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar namakku vilakkina matta idangalaiyum seraamal vilakipponaay. Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbade us.
