மறுநாளிலே மூத்தவள் இளையவளைப் பார்த்து: நேற்று ராத்திரி நான் தகப்பனோடே சயனித்தேன்; இன்று ராத்திரியும் மதுவைக்குடிக்கக் கொடுப்போம், நம்முடைய தகப்பனால் சந்ததி உண்டாகும்படி நீ போய் அவரோடே சயனி என்றாள்.

மறுநாளிலே மூத்தவள் இளையவளைப் பார்த்து: நேற்று ராத்திரி நான் தகப்பனோடு உறவுகொண்டேன்; இன்று இரவும் மதுவைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுப்போம், நம்முடைய தகப்பனால் சந்ததி உண்டாகும்படி நீயும் போய் அவரோடு உறவுகொள் என்றாள்.

மறுநாள் மூத்தவள் இளையவளிடம்: “நேற்று இரவு நான் தந்தையோடு பாலின உறவு கொண்டேன். இன்று இரவும் அவரை மீண்டும் குடிக்க வைப்போம். பிறகு நீ அவரோடு பாலின உறவுகொள். இதன் மூலம் நாம் குழந்தை பெற நம் தந்தையைப் பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்ளலாம். நம் குடும்பமும் அழியாமல் இருக்கும்” என்றாள்.

மறுநாள் மூத்தவள் இளையவளை நோக்கி, “நேற்றிரவு என் தந்தையோடு நான் படுத்துக்கொண்டேன். இன்றிரவும் அவ்வாறே அவரைத் திராட்சை மது குடிக்கவைப்போம். நீ சென்று அவருடன் படுத்துக்கொள். இவ்வண்ணமாக நம் தந்தையின் மூலம் வழிமரபைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்” என்றாள்.

yesternight אֶ֖מֶשׁ ʾemeš eh-MESH
with אֶת ʾēt ate
my father: אָבִ֑י ʾāb av
let us make him drink נַשְׁקֶ֨נּוּ šāqâ sha-KA
wine יַ֜יִן yayin ya-YEEN
also; גַּם gam ɡahm
this night הַלַּ֗יְלָה layil la-YEEL
and go thou in, וּבֹ֙אִי֙ bôʾ boh
