சணல்வஸ்திரம் தரித்தவரும், ஆற்றின் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் நிற்கிறவருமாகிய புருஷனை ஒருவன் நோக்கி: இந்த ஆச்சரியமானவைகளின் முடிவுவர எவ்வளவுகாலம் செல்லும் என்று கேட்டான்.

அப்பொழுது இதோ, ஆறு புருஷர், வெட்டுகிற ஆயுதங்களைத் தங்கள் கைகளில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு வடக்கே பார்த்த உயர்ந்த வாசலின் வழியிலிருந்து வந்தார்கள்; அவர்களில் சணல்நூல் அங்கிதரித்து, தன் அரையில் கணக்கனுடைய மைக்கூட்டை வைத்திருக்கிற ஒருவன் இருந்தான்; அவர்கள் உள்ளே பிரவேசித்து, வெண்கல பலிபீடத்தண்டையிலே நின்றார்கள்.

அன்றியும் காபிரியேலே, இவனுக்குத் தரிசனத்தை விளங்கப்பண்ணென்று ஊலாயின் மத்தியிலே கூப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லுகிற ஒரு மனுஷ சத்தத்தையும் கேட்டேன்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் தன் மறுமொழியைச் சேனைகளின் கர்த்தாவே, இந்த எழுபது வருஷமாய் நீர் கோபங்கொண்டிருக்கிற எருசலேமின்மேலும் Jude பட்டணங்களின்மேலும் எந்தமட்டும் இரங்காதிருப்பீர் என்று சொல்ல,

எங்களுக்கு இருந்த அடையாளங்களைக் காணோம்; தீர்க்கதரிசியும் இல்லை; இது எதுவரைக்கும் என்று அறிகிறவனும் எங்களிடத்தில் இல்லை.

என் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கையில், சணல் வஸ்திரந்தரித்து, தமது அரையில் ஊப்பாசின் தங்கக்கச்சையைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிற ஒரு புருஷனைக் கண்டேன்.

தங்கள்நிமித்தமல்ல, நமதுநிமித்தமே இவைகளைத் தெரிவித்தார்களென்று அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாக்கப்பட்டது, பரலோகத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்பட்ட பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலே உங்களுக்குச் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் Ecclesiastesத்தவர்களைக்கொண்டு இவைகள் இப்பொழுது உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது; இவைகளை உற்றுப்பார்க்க தேவதூதரும் ஆசையாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

அவர்கள்: பரிசுத்தமும் சத்தியமுமுள்ள ஆண்டவரே, தேவரீர் பூமியின்மேல் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களிடத்தில் எங்கள் இரத்தத்தைக்குறித்து எதுவரைக்கும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச்செய்யாமலும் பழிவாங்காமலும் இருப்பீர் என்று மகா சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள்.
