அந்நாட்களில் இருக்கும் ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் சென்று, அவனை நோக்கி: கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்க நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டதேசத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்தேன் என்று இன்று உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அறிக்கையிடுகிறேன் என்பாயாக.

அங்கே ஆலய சேவையில் இருக்கின்ற ஆசாரியரிடம்: ‘கர்த்தர் நமது முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு ஒரு தேசத்தைக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்டார். இன்று தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில், நான் அந்தத் தேசத்திற்கு வந்து விட்டேன் என்று அறிக்கையிடுகிறேன்’ என்று கூறு.

And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.

And thou shalt go וּבָאתָ֙ bôʾ boh
unto אֶל ʾēl ale
the priest הַכֹּהֵ֔ן kōhēn koh-HANE
that אֲשֶׁ֥ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
shall be יִֽהְיֶ֖ה hāyâ ha-YA
days, בַּיָּמִ֣ים yôm yome
in those הָהֵ֑ם hēm hame
and say וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֣ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
unto אֵלָ֗יו ʾēl ale
him, I profess הִגַּ֤דְתִּי nāgad na-ɡAHD
this day הַיּוֹם֙ yôm yome
unto the Lord לַֽיהוָ֣ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
thy God, אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
that כִּי kî kee
I am come בָ֙אתִי֙ bôʾ boh

the country הָאָ֔רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
