1 கர்த்தருடைய கை என்மேல் அமர்ந்து, கர்த்தர் என்னை ஆவிக்குள்ளாக்கி வெளியே கொண்டுபோய் எலும்புகள் நிறைந்த ஒரு பள்ளத்தாக்கின் நடுவில் நிறுத்தி, The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 என்னை அவைகளின் அருகே சுற்றி நடக்கப்பண்ணினார்; இதோ, பள்ளத்தாக்கின் வெட்டவெளியிலே அந்த எலும்புகள் மகா திரளாய்க்கிடந்தது; அவைகள் மிகவும் உலர்ந்ததுமாயிருந்தது. And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே, இந்த எலும்புகள் உயிரடையுமா என்று கேட்டார்; அதற்கு நான்: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, தேவரீர் அதை அறிவீர் என்றேன். And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

4 அப்பொழுது அவர்: நீ இந்த எலும்புகளைக் குறித்துத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, அவைகளைப் பார்த்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: உலர்ந்த எலும்புகளே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள். Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

5 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இந்த எலும்புகளை நோக்கி: இதோ, நான் உங்களுக்குள் ஆவியைப் பிரவேசிக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்; அப்பொழுது உயிரடைவீர்கள். Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 நான் உங்கள்மேல் நரம்புகளைச் சேர்த்து, உங்கள்மேல் மாம்சத்தை உண்டாக்கி, உங்களைத் தோலினால் மூடி, உங்களில் ஆவியைக் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் உயிரடைந்து, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்களென்று உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார். And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

7 எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்தேன்; நான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைக்கையில் ஒரு இரைச்சல் உண்டாயிற்று; இதோ, அசைவுண்டாகி, ஒவ்வொரு எலும்பும் தன்தன் எலும்போடே சேர்ந்துகொண்டது. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 நான் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கையில் இதோ, அவைகள்மேல் நரம்புகளும் மாம்சமும் உண்டாயிற்று, மேற்புறமெங்கும் தோலினால் மூடப்பட்டது; ஆனாலும் அவைகளில் ஆவி இல்லாதிருந்தது. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 அப்பொழுது அவர் என்னைப்பார்த்து: நீ ஆவியை நோக்கித் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரை; மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, ஆவியை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், ஆவியே, நீ காற்றுத்திசை நான்கிலுமிருந்து வந்து, கொலையுண்ட இவர்கள் உயிரடையும்படிக்கு இவர்கள்மேல் ஊது என்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார். Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 எனக்குக் கற்பிக்கப்பட்டபடி நான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்தேன்; அப்பொழுது ஆவி அவர்களுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க, அவர்கள் உயிரடைந்து, காலுூன்றி, மகா பெரிய சேனையாய் நின்றார்கள். So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

15 பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

16 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ ஒரு கோலை எடுத்து, அதிலே யூதாவுக்கும் அதைச்சேர்ந்த இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கும் அடுத்தது என்று எழுதி; பின்பு வேறொரு கோலை எடுத்து, அதிலே எப்பிராயீமுக்கும் அதைச்சேர்ந்த இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் அனைவருக்கும் அடுத்த யோசேப்பின் கோலென்று எழுதி, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:

19 நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், எப்பிராயீமுக்கும் அதைச்சேர்ந்த இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்கும் அடுத்த யோசேப்பின் கோலை எடுத்து, அதை யூதாவின் கோலோடே சேர்த்து, அவைகளை ஒரே கோலாக்குவேன்; அவைகள் என் கையில் ஒன்றாகும் என்கிறார் என்று சொல். Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

20 சொல்லும்போது, நீ எழுதின கோல்கள் அவர்களுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக உன் கையில் இருக்கவேண்டும். And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21 நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், இதோ, நான் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரை அவர்கள் போயிருக்கும் ஜாதிகளிடத்திலிருந்து அழைத்து, சுற்றிலுமிருந்து அவர்களைச் சேர்த்து, அவர்களை அவர்கள் சுயதேசத்திலே வரப்பண்ணி, And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

23 அவர்கள் இனித் தங்கள் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களினாலும் தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளினாலும் தங்களுடைய சகல மீறுதல்களினாலும் தங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்துவதுமில்லை; அவர்கள் குடியிருந்து பாவஞ்செய்த எல்லா இடங்களிலிருந்தும் நான் அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சித்து, அவர்களைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணுவேன்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள், நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன். Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

25 நான் என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபுக்குக் கொடுத்ததும், உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் குடியிருந்ததுமான தேசத்திலே குடியிருப்பார்கள்; அவர்களும் அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளும் அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளும் அதிலே என்றென்றைக்கும் குடியிருப்பார்கள்; என் தாசனாகிய தாவீது என்பவர் என்றென்றைக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு அதிபதியாயிருப்பார். And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 நான் அவர்களோடே சமாதான உடன்படிக்கை செய்வேன்; அது அவர்களுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாயிருக்கும்; நான் அவர்களை நிலைப்படுத்தி, அவர்களை வர்த்திக்கப்பண்ணி, அவர்கள் நடுவிலே என் பரிசுத்தஸ்தலத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் ஸ்தாபிப்பேன். Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27 என் வாசஸ்தலம் அவர்களிடத்தில் இருக்கும், நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள். My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 அப்படியே என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலம் அவர்கள் நடுவிலே என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்போது, நான் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தர் என்று ஜாதிகள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார். And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

1 Karththarutaiya kai enmael amarnthu, Karththar ennai aavikkullaakki veliyae konndupoy elumpukal niraintha oru pallaththaakkin naduvil niraுththi, The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 Ennai avaikalin arukae sutti nadakkappannnninaar; itho, pallaththaakkin vettaveliyilae antha elumpukal makaa thiralaaykkidanthathu; avaikal mikavum ularnthathumaayirunthathu. And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 Avar ennai Nnokki: manupuththiranae, intha elumpukal uyirataiyumaa entu kaettar; atharku naan: karththaraakiya aanndavarae, thaevareer athai ariveer enten. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

4 Appoluthu avar: nee intha elumpukalaik kuriththuth theerkkatharisanam uraiththu, avaikalaip paarththuch sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: ularntha elumpukalae, karththarutaiya vaarththaiyaik kaelungal. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

5 Karththaraakiya aanndavar intha elumpukalai Nnokki: itho, naan ungalukkul aaviyaip piravaesikkappannnuvaen; appoluthu uyirataiveerkal. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 Naan ungalmael narampukalaich serththu, ungalmael maamsaththai unndaakki, ungalaith tholinaal mooti, ungalil aaviyaik kattalaiyiduvaen; appoluthu neengal uyiratainthu, naan Karththar entu arinthukolveerkalentu uraikkiraar entu sol entar. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

7 Enakkuk kattalaiyittapatiyae naan theerkkatharisanam uraiththaen; naan theerkkatharisanam uraikkaiyil oru iraichchal unndaayittaு; itho, asaivunndaaki, ovvoru elumpum thanthan elumpotae sernthukonndathu. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 Naan paarththukkonntirukkaiyil itho, avaikalmael narampukalum maamsamum unndaayittaு, maerpuramengum tholinaal moodappattathu; aanaalum avaikalil aavi illaathirunthathu. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 Appoluthu avar ennaippaarththu: nee aaviyai Nnokkith theerkkatharisanam urai; manupuththiranae, nee theerkkatharisanam uraiththu, aaviyai Nnokki: karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, aaviyae, nee kaattaுththisai naankilumirunthu vanthu, kolaiyunnda ivarkal uyirataiyumpatikku ivarkalmael oothu enkiraar entu sol entar. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 Enakkuk karpikkappattapati naan theerkkatharisanam uraiththaen; appoluthu aavi avarkalukkul piravaesikka, avarkal uyiratainthu, kaaluூnti, makaa periya senaiyaay nintarkal. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Appoluthu avar ennai Nnokki: manupuththiranae, intha elumpukal Israel vamsaththaar anaivarumae; itho, avarkal engal elumpukal ularnthupoyittaு; engal nampikkai attaுppoyittaு; naangal araுppunndupokirom enkiraarkal. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12 Aakaiyaal nee theerkkatharisanam uraiththu, avarkalotae sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar, itho, en janangalae, naan ungal piraethakkulikalaith thiranthu, ungalai ungal piraethakkulikalilirunthu velippadavum, ungalai Israel thaesaththukkuvaravumpannnuvaen. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 En janangalae, naan ungal piraethakkulikalaith thiranthu, ungalai ungal piraethakkulikalilirunthu velippadappannnumpothu, naan Karththar entu arinthukolveerkal. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 En aaviyai ungalukkul vaippaen; neengal uyirataiveerkal; naan ungalai ungal thaesaththil vaippaen; appoluthu naan Karththar entu arinthukolveerkal; ithaich sonnaen, ithaich seyvaen entu Karththar uraikkiraar entu sol entar. And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

15 Pinnum karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

16 Manupuththiranae, nee oru kolai eduththu, athilae yoothaavukkum athaichchaேrntha Israel puththirarukkum aduththathu entu eluthi; pinpu vaeroru kolai eduththu, athilae eppiraayeemukkum athaichchaேrntha Israel vamsaththaar anaivarukkum aduththa yoseppin kolentu eluthi, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:

17 Avaikalai orae kolaakumpati ontotontu isaiyachchey, avaikal un kaiyil ontakum. And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

18 Ivaikalin porul innathentu engalukku arivikkamaattiro entu un janaththin puththirar unnidaththil kaettal, And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

19 Nee avarkalai Nnokki: karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, eppiraayeemukkum athaichchaேrntha Israel koththirangalukkum aduththa yoseppin kolai eduththu, athai yoothaavin kolotae serththu, avaikalai orae kolaakkuvaen; avaikal en kaiyil ontakum enkiraar entu sol. Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

20 Sollumpothu, nee eluthina kolkal avarkalutaiya kannkalukku munpaaka un kaiyil irukkavaenndum. And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21 Nee avarkalai Nnokki: karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, itho, naan Israel vamsaththaarai avarkal poyirukkum jaathikalidaththilirunthu alaiththu, suttilumirunthu avarkalaich serththu, avarkalai avarkal suyathaesaththilae varappannnni, And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22 Avarkalai isravaelin malaikalaakiya thaesaththilae orae jaathiyaakkuvaen; orae raajaa avarkal ellaarukkum raajaavaaka iruppaar; avar ini iranndu jaathikalaaka iruppathillai: avarkal ini iranndu raajyangalaakap pirivathumillai. And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

23 Avarkal inith thangal narakalaana vikkirakangalinaalum thangal aruvaruppukalinaalum thangalutaiya sakala meeraுthalkalinaalum thangalaith theettuppaduththuvathumillai; avarkal kutiyirunthu paavanjaெytha ellaa idangalilirunthum naan avarkalai neengalaakki iratchiththu, avarkalaich suththampannnuvaen; appoluthu avarkal en janamaayiruppaarkal, naan avarkal thaevanaayiruppaen. 24 En thaasanaakiya David enpavar avarkalmael raajaavaaka iruppaar; avarkal ellaarukkum orae maeyppar iruppaar; appoluthu avarkal en niyaayangalil nadanthu, en kattalaikalaik kaikkonndu, avaikalinpatiyae seythu, And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 Naan en thaasanaakiya yaakkopukkuk koduththathum, ungal pithaakkal kutiyirunthathumaana thaesaththilae kutiyiruppaarkal; avarkalum avarkal pillaikalum avarkalutaiya pillaikalin pillaikalum athilae ententaikkum kutiyiruppaarkal; en thaasanaakiya David enpavar ententaikkum avarkalukku athipathiyaayiruppaar. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 Naan avarkalotae samaathaana udanpatikkai seyvaen; athu avarkalukku niththiya udanpatikkaiyaayirukkum; naan avarkalai nilaippaduththi, avarkalai varththikkappannnni, avarkal naduvilae en Parisuththasthalaththai ententaikkum sthaapippaen. 27 En vaasasthalam avarkalidaththil irukkum, naan avarkal thaevanaayiruppaen, avarkal en janamaayiruppaarkal. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 Appatiyae en Parisuththa sthalam avarkal naduvilae ententaikkum irukkumpothu, naan isravaelaip Parisuththampannnukira Karththar entu jaathikal arinthukolvaarkal enkiraar entu sol entar.
