அவன் தன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, தன் தாய் பெற்ற குமாரனாகிய தன் சகோதரன் பென்யமீனைக் கண்டு, நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சொன்ன உங்கள் இளைய சகோதரன் இவன்தானா என்று கேட்டு, மகனே, தேவன் உனக்குக் கிருபைசெய்யக்கடவர் என்றான்.

நீங்கள் யோசனைசெய்து, புலம்பற்காரிகளை வரவழைத்து, அதில் பழகின பெண்களைக் கூப்பிடுங்களென்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் இதைத்தான் கூறுகிறார்: “இப்பொழுது, இவற்றைப்பற்றி எண்ணுங்கள்! நீங்கள், சாவில் கூலிக்காக அழுவதில் திறமைவாய்ந்த பெண்களைக் கூப்பிடுங்கள். அந்த வேலையில் கெட்டிக்காரிகளை ஜனங்களுக்காக சொல்லி அனுப்புங்கள்.
