அப்பொழுது சாத்தான் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, யோபின் உள்ளங்கால் தொடங்கி அவன் உச்சந்தலைமட்டும் கொடிய பருக்களால் அவனை வாதித்தான்.

அப்பொழுது சாத்தான் கர்த்தருடைய முன்னிலையைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, யோபின் உள்ளங்கால் தொடங்கி அவனுடைய உச்சந்தலைவரை கொடிய கொப்புளங்களால் அவனை வாதித்தான்.

பின்பு சாத்தான் கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து சென்று, யோபுவுக்கு வேதனைமிக்க புண்களைக் கொடுத்தான். அவனது பாதங்களின் அடிப்பகுதியிலிருந்து தலையின் உச்சிவரைக்கும் வேதனை தரும் அப்புண்கள் யோபுவின் உடலெங்கும் காணப்பட்டன.
