யோசுவா 18
1 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சபையெல்லாம் சீலோவிலே கூடி, அங்கே ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தை நிறுத்தினார்கள். தேசம் அவர்கள் வசமாயிற்று.
2 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்தை இன்னும் பங்கிட்டுக்கொள்ளாத ஏழு கோத்திரங்கள் இருந்தது.
3 ஆகையால் யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: உங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளப்போகிறதற்கு, நீங்கள் எந்தமட்டும் அசதியாயிருப்பீர்கள்.
4 கோத்திரத்திற்கு மும்மூன்று மனுஷரைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; அவர்கள் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து அதைத் தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்துக்குத் தக்கதாக விவரமாய் எழுதி, என்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களை அனுப்புவேன்.
5 அதை ஏழு பங்காகப் பகிரக்கடவர்கள்; யூதா வம்சத்தார் தெற்கேயிருக்கிற தங்கள் எல்லையிலும், யோசேப்பு வம்சத்தார் வடக்கேயிருக்கிற தங்கள் எல்லையிலும் நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும்.
6 நீங்கள் தேசத்தை ஏழு பங்காக விவரித்து எழுதி, இங்கே என்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவ்விடத்திலே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன்.
7 லேவியருக்கு உங்கள் நடுவே பங்கில்லை; கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியப்பட்டமே அவர்கள் சுதந்தரம்; காத்தும் ரூபனும் மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரமும் யோர்தானுக்கு அப்புறத்திலே கிழக்கே கர்த்தரின் தாசனாகிய மோசே தங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்தை அடைந்து தீர்ந்தது என்றான்.
8 அப்பொழுது அந்த மனுஷர் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்; தேசத்தைக்குறித்து விவரம் எழுதப்போகிறவர்களை யோசுவா நோக்கி: நீங்கள் போய், தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து, அதின் விவரத்தை எழுதி, என்னிடத்தில் திரும்பிவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இங்கே சீலோவிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன் என்று சொன்னான்.
9 அந்த மனுஷர் போய், தேசம் எங்கும் அந்தந்தப் பட்டணங்களின்படியே ஏழு பங்காக ஒரு புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதிக்கொண்டு, சீலோவிலே இருக்கிற பாளயத்திலே யோசுவாவினிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்.
10 அப்பொழுது யோசுவா அவர்களுக்காகச் சீலோவிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, அங்கே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குத் தேசத்தை அவர்கள் பங்குவீதப்படி பங்கிட்டான்.
1 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.
2 And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.
3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the Lord God of your fathers hath given you?
4 Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me.
5 And they shall divide it into seven parts: Judah shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their coasts on the north.
6 Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the Lord our God.
7 But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the Lord is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave them.
8 And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the Lord in Shiloh.
9 And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.
10 And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the Lord: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions.

8 இப்பொழுதும் சுகசெல்வியே, விசாரமில்லாமல் வாழ்கிறவளே; நான்தான் என்னைத்தவிர ஒருவருமில்லை; நான் விதவையாவதில்லை, நான் சந்தான சேதத்தை அறிவதில்லையென்று உன் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லுகிறவளே, நான் சொல்லுகிறதைக் கேள்.
Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
9 சந்தான சேதமும் விதவையிருப்பும் ஆகிய இவ்விரண்டும் உனக்குச் சடிதியாக ஒரேநாளில் வரும்; உன் திரளான சூனியங்களினிமித்தமும், உன் வெகுவான ஸ்தம்பன வித்தைகளினிமித்தமும் அவைகள் பூரணமாய் உன்மேல் வரும்.
But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
10 உன் துன்மார்க்கத்திலே நீ திடநம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து: என்னைப் பார்க்கிறவர் ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்றாய். உன் ஞானமும் உன் அறிவுமே உன்னைக் கெடுத்தது; நான்தான், என்னைத்தவிர ஒருவருமில்லையென்று உன் இருதயத்தில் எண்ணினாய்.
For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
11 ஆகையால் தீங்கு உன்மேல் வரும், அது எங்கேயிருந்து உதித்ததென்று நீ அறியாய்; விக்கினம் உன்மேல் வரும், நீ அதை நிவிர்த்தியாக்கமாட்டாய்; நீ அறியாதபடிக்குச் சடிதியாய் உண்டாகும் பாழ்க்கடிப்பு உன்மேல் வரும்.
Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
12 நீ உன் சிறுவயதுமுதல் பிரயாசப்பட்டுப் பழகிவருகிற உன் ஸ்தம்பன வித்தைகளையும், உன் திரளான சூனியங்களையும் நீ அநுசரித்து நில்; அவைகளால் உனக்குப் பிரயோஜனம் உண்டோ, பலன் உண்டோ, பார்ப்போம்.
Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
13 உன் திரளான யோசனைகளினால் நீ இளைத்துப்போனாய்; இப்பொழுதும் ஜோசியரும், நட்சத்திரம் பார்க்கிறவர்களும், அமாவாசி கணிக்கிறவர்களும் எழும்பி, உனக்கு நேரிடுகிறவைகளுக்கு உன்னை விலக்கி இரட்சிக்கட்டும்.
Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
14 இதோ, அவர்கள் தாளடியைப்போல இருப்பார்கள், நெருப்பு அவர்களைச் சுட்டெரிக்கும்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் பிராணனை அக்கினிஜுவாலையினின்று விடுவிப்பதில்லை; அது குளிர்காயத்தக்க தழலுமல்ல; எதிரே உட்காரத்தக்க அடுப்புமல்ல.
Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.
15 உன் சிறுவயதுமுதல் நீ பிரயாசப்பட்டு எவர்களுடன் வியாபாரம்பண்ணினாயோ, அவர்களும் அப்படியே இருப்பார்கள், அவரவர் தங்கள் போக்கிலே போய் அலைவார்கள்; உன்னை இரட்சிப்பார் இல்லை.
Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.
