ହେ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଡରେି ଶୁଣ। ଆପଣା ଚକ୍ଷୁ ମଲେି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁରବସ୍ଥା ଦେଖ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ଖ୍ଯାତି ଏହି ନଗର ଅବସ୍ଥା ଦେଖ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଯୋଗୁଁ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ମହାଦୟା ସକାଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିବଦନେ କରୁଅଛୁ।

O my God, אֱלֹהַ֥י׀ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
thine ear, אָזְנְךָ֮ ʾōzen oh-ZEN
and hear; וּֽשֲׁמָע֒ šāmaʿ sha-MA
open פְּקַ֣חה pāqaḥ pa-KAHK
thine eyes, עֵינֶ֗יךָ ʿayin ah-YEEN
and behold וּרְאֵה֙ rāʾâ ra-AH
our desolations, שֹֽׁמְמֹתֵ֔ינוּ šāmēm sha-MAME
and the city וְהָעִ֕יר ʿîr eer
