அவருடைய செயல்களையும் அவர் தங்களுக்குக் காண்பித்த அதிசயங்களையும் மறந்தார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி எசேக்கியா ராஜாவினிடத்தில் வந்து: அந்த மனிதர்கள் என்ன சொன்னார்கள் எங்கேயிருந்து உம்மிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள் என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு எசேக்கியா: பாபிலோன் என்னும் தூரதேசத்திலிருந்து என்னிடத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள் என்றான்.

தீர்க்கதரிசியான ஏசாயா, அரசனான எசேக்கியாவிடம் சென்று, “இந்த ஆட்கள் என்ன சொல்கிறார்கள்? இவர்கள் எங்கிருந்து வந்தார்கள்?” என்று கேட்டான். எசேக்கியா, “வெகு தொலைவிலுள்ள நாட்டிலிருந்து இவர்கள் வந்தார்கள். இவர்கள் பாபிலோனிலிருந்து வந்தார்கள்” என்று கூறினான்.
