அதின்பின்பு எசேக்கியா: இப்போதும் நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கென்று உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணினீர்கள்; ஆகையால் கிட்டவந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குத் தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளையும் கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது சபையார் தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளையும், இஷ்டமுள்ளவர்களெல்லாம் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

எசேக்கியா, “இப்போது யூதா ஜனங்களாகிய நீங்கள் உங்களையே கர்த்தருக்காகக் கொடுத்துவிட்டீர்கள். அவரண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள். கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குத் தகனபலிகளையும், ஸ்தோத்திரப் பலிகளையும், கொண்டுவாருங்கள்” என்று சொன்னான். பிறகு ஜனங்களும் அவ்வாறே தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரப் பலிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தனர். விடுப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லாம் கொண்டுவந்தனர்.

அப்பொழுது எசேக்கியா அவர்களை நோக்கி, “இதோ நீங்கள் ஆண்டவருக்கென உங்களையே அர்ப்பணித்துள்ளீர்கள்; ஆதலால், அணுகி வாருங்கள், ஆண்டவரின் இல்லத்துக்குப் பலிகளையும் நன்றிப்பலிகளையும் கொண்டு வாருங்கள்” என்று கூறினார். அப்பொழுது மக்கள் சபையார் பலிகளையும், நன்றிப்பலிகளையும் கொண்டு வந்தனர், விரும்பியோர் பலர் எரிபலிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தனர்.

Athinpinpu esekkiyaa: ippothum neengal karththarukkentu ungalaip Parisuththampannnnineerkal; aakaiyaal kittavanthu, karththarutaiya aalayaththirkuth thakanapalikalaiyum sthoththirapalikalaiyum konnduvaarungal entan; appoluthu Sabaiyaar thakanapalikalaiyum sthoththirapalikalaiyum, ishdamullavarkalellaam sarvaanga thakanapalikalaiyum konnduvanthaarkal.

יֶדְכֶם֙ yād yahd
yourselves unto the Lord, לַֽיהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
come near גֹּ֧שׁוּ nāgaš na-ɡAHSH
and bring וְהָבִ֛יאוּ bôʾ boh
sacrifices זְבָחִ֥ים zebaḥ zeh-VAHK

into the house לְבֵ֣ית bayit ba-YEET
