Deuteronomy 7 in Tamil

1 நீ சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைப் பிரவேசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உன்னைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஜனம் பெருத்த ஜாதிகளாகிய ஏத்தியர், கிர்காசியர், எமோரியர், கானானியர் பெரிசியர், ஏவியர், எபூசியர் என்னும் ஏழு பலத்த ஜாதிகளை உனக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தி When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

2 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களை உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது, அவர்களை முறிய அடித்து, அவர்களைச் சங்காரம் பண்ணக்கடவாய்; அவர்களோடே உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணவும் அவர்களுக்கு இரங்கவும் வேண்டாம். And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them:

3 அவர்களோடே சம்பந்தம் கலவாயாக; உன் குமாரத்திகளை அவர்கள் குமாரருக்குக் கொடாமலும், அவர்கள் குமாரத்திகளைக் உன் குமாரருக்கும் கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பாயாக. Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

4 என்னைப் பின்பற்றாமல், அந்நிய தேவர்களைச் சேவிக்கும்படி அவர்கள் உன் குமாரரை விலகப்பண்ணுவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் உங்கள்மேல் மூண்டு, உங்களைச் சீக்கிரத்தில் அழிக்கும். For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

5 நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: அவர்கள் பலிபீடங்களை இடித்து, அவர்கள் சிலைகளைத் தகர்த்து, அவர்கள் தோப்புகளை வெட்டி, அவர்கள் விக்கிரகங்களை அக்கினியிலே எரித்துப்போடவேண்டும். But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

6 நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஜனம், பூச்சக்கரத்திலுள்ள எல்லா ஜனங்களிலும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைத் தமக்குச் தெரிந்துகொண்டார். For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 சகல ஜனங்களிலும் நீங்கள் திரட்சியான ஜனமென்று கர்த்தர் உங்கள்பேரில் அன்புவைத்து உங்களைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை; நீங்கள் சகல ஜனங்களிலும் கொஞ்சமாயிருந்தீர்கள். The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

8 கர்த்தர் உங்களில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினாலும், உங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்கு இட்ட ஆணையைக் காக்கவேண்டும் என்பதினாலும்; கர்த்தர் பலத்த கையினால் உங்களைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணி, அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்தினின்றும் அதின் ராஜாவான பார்வோனின் கையினின்றும் உங்களை மீட்டுக்கொண்டார். But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

9 ஆகையால் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரே தேவன் என்றும், தம்மில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, தமது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு அவர் ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் உடன்படிக்கையையும் தயவையும் காக்கிற உண்மையுள்ள தேவன் என்றும், Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

10 தம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களுக்குப் பிரத்தியட்சமாய்ப் பதிலளித்து அவர்களை அழிப்பார் என்றும், தம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவனுக்கு அவர் தாமதியாமல் பிரத்தியட்சமாய்ப் பதிலளிப்பார் என்றும் நீ அறியக்கடவாய். And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

11 ஆகையால் நீ செய்யும்படி நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிற கற்பனைகளையும் கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்வாயாக. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

12 இந்த நியாயங்களை நீங்கள் கேட்டு, கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்வீர்களானால், அப்பொழுது உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த உடன்படிக்கையையும் கிருபையையும் உனக்காகக் காத்து, Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

13 உன்மேல் அன்பு வைத்து, உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்து, உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று உன் பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தில் உன்னைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, உன் கர்ப்பக்கனியையும், உன் நிலத்தின் கனிகளாகிய உன் தானியத்தையும், உன் திராட்சரசத்தையும், உன் எண்ணெயையும், உன் மாடுகளின் பலனையும், உன் ஆட்டுமந்தைகளையும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

14 சகல ஜனங்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் நீ ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பாய்; உங்களுக்குள்ளும் உங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்குள்ளும் ஆணிலாகிலும் பெண்ணிலாகிலும் மலடிருப்பதில்லை. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

15 கர்த்தர் சகல நோய்களையும் உன்னைவிட்டு விலக்குவார்; உனக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கிற எகிப்தியரின் கொடிய ரோகங்களில் ஒன்றும் உன்மேல் வரப்பண்ணாமல், உன்னைப் பகைக்கிற யாவர்மேலும் அவைகளை வரப்பண்ணுவார். And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

16 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும் சகல ஜனங்களையும் நிர்மூலமாக்கக்கடவாய்; உன் கண் அவர்களுக்கு இரங்காதிருப்பதாக; அவர்கள் தேவர்களை நீ சேவியாமல் இருப்பாயாக; அது உனக்குக் கண்ணியாயிருக்கும். And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

17 அந்த ஜாதிகள் என்னிலும் ஜனம் பெருத்தவைகள், நான் அவர்களைத் துரத்திவிடுவது எப்படி என்று உன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொண்டாயானால், If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?

18 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பார்வோனுக்கும் எகிப்தியர் யாவருக்கும் செய்ததையும், Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;

19 உன் கண்கள் கண்ட பெரிய சோதனைகளையும், அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணிக் காண்பித்த பலத்த கையையும் ஓங்கிய புயத்தையும் நன்றாய் நினைத்து, அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதிரு; நீ பார்த்துப் பயப்படுகிற எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அப்படியே செய்வார். The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.

20 மீதியாயிருந்து உனக்குத் தப்பி ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும் அழிந்துபோகுமட்டும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே குளவிகளை அனுப்புவார். Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.

21 அவர்களைப் பார்த்துப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருக்கிறார், அவர் வல்லமையும் பயங்கரமுமான தேவன். Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

22 அந்த ஜாதிகளை உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாய் உன்னைவிட்டுத் துரத்திவிடுவார்; நீ அவர்களை ஒருமிக்க நிர்மூலமாக்கவேண்டாம்; நிர்மூலமாக்கினால் காட்டுமிருகங்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் பெருகிப்போகும். And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

23 உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களை உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, அவர்கள் அழியுமட்டும் அவர்களை மிகவும் கலங்கடிப்பார். But the LORD thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

24 அவர்களுடைய ராஜாக்களை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார்; அவர்கள் பேர் வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்கு அவர்களைச் சங்கரிக்கக் கடவாய்; நீ அவர்களைச் சங்கரித்துத் தீருமட்டும் ஒருவரும் உனக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கமாட்டார்கள். And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.

25 அவர்கள் தேவர்களின் விக்கிரகங்களை அக்கினியினால் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவாய்; நீ அவைகளால் சிக்கிக்கொள்ளாதபடிக்கு, அவைகளில் இருக்கிற வெள்ளியையும் பொன்னையும் இச்சியாமலும், அதை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பாயாக; அவைகள் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானவைகள். The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.

26 அவைகளைபோல நீ சாபத்துக்குள்ளாகாதபடி அருவருப்பானதை உன்வீட்டிலே கொண்டுபோகாயாக; அதைச் சீ என்று வெறுத்து முற்றிலும் அருவருக்கக் கடவாய், அது சாபத்திற்குள்ளானது. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.

1 Nee suthantharikkappokira thaesaththil un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnaip piravaesikkappannnni, unnaippaarkkilum janam peruththa jaathikalaakiya aeththiyar, kirkaasiyar, emoriyar, kaanaaniyar perisiyar, aeviyar, epoosiyar ennum aelu palaththa jaathikalai unakku munpaakath thuraththi When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

2 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar avarkalai unnidaththil oppukkodukkumpothu, avarkalai muriya atiththu, avarkalaich sangaaram pannnakkadavaay; avarkalotae udanpatikkaipannnavum avarkalukku irangavum vaenndaam. And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them:

3 Avarkalotae sampantham kalavaayaaka; un kumaaraththikalai avarkal kumaararukkuk kodaamalum, avarkal kumaaraththikalaik un kumaararukkum kollaamalum iruppaayaaka. Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

4 Ennaip pinpattaாmal, anniya thaevarkalaich sevikkumpati avarkal un kumaararai vilakappannnuvaarkal; appoluthu karththarutaiya kopam ungalmael moonndu, ungalaich seekkiraththil alikkum. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

5 Neengal avarkalukkuch seyyavaenntiyathu ennavental: avarkal palipeedangalai itiththu, avarkal silaikalaith thakarththu, avarkal thoppukalai vetti, avarkal vikkirakangalai akkiniyilae eriththuppodavaenndum. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

6 Nee un thaevanaakiya karththarukkup Parisuththa janam, poochchakkaraththilulla ellaa janangalilum un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnaith thamakkuch therinthukonndaar. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 Sakala janangalilum neengal thiratchiyaana janamentu Karththar ungalpaeril anpuvaiththu ungalaith therinthukollavillai; neengal sakala janangalilum konjamaayiruntheerkal. 8 Karththar ungalil anpukoornthathinaalum, ungal pithaakkalukku itta aannaiyaik kaakkavaenndum enpathinaalum; Karththar palaththa kaiyinaal ungalaip purappadappannnni, atimaiththana veedaakiya ekipthinintum athin raajaavaana paarvonin kaiyinintum ungalai meettukkonndaar. But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

9 Aakaiyaal un thaevanaakiya karththarae Dhevan entum, thammil anpukoornthu, thamathu karpanaikalaik kaikkollukiravarkalukku avar aayiram thalaimuraimattum udanpatikkaiyaiyum thayavaiyum kaakkira unnmaiyulla Dhevan entum, Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

10 Thammaip pakaikkiravarkalukkup piraththiyatchamaayp pathilaliththu avarkalai alippaar entum, thammaip pakaikkiravanukku avar thaamathiyaamal piraththiyatchamaayp pathilalippaar entum nee ariyakkadavaay. And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

11 Aakaiyaal nee seyyumpati naan intu unakkuk kattalaiyidukira karpanaikalaiyum kattalaikalaiyum niyaayangalaiyum kaikkolvaayaaka. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

12 Intha niyaayangalai neengal kaettu, kaikkonndu, avaikalinpati seyveerkalaanaal, appoluthu un thaevanaakiya Karththar un pithaakkalukku aannaiyittukkoduththa udanpatikkaiyaiyum kirupaiyaiyum unakkaakak kaaththu, Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

13 Unmael anpu vaiththu, unnai aaseervathiththu, unakkuk koduppaen entu un pithaakkalukku aannaiyittuk koduththa thaesaththil unnaip perukappannnni, un karppakkaniyaiyum, un nilaththin kanikalaakiya un thaaniyaththaiyum, un thiraatcharasaththaiyum, un ennnneyaiyum, un maadukalin palanaiyum, un aattumanthaikalaiyum aaseervathippaar. And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

14 Sakala janangalaip paarkkilum nee aaseervathikkappattiruppaay; ungalukkullum ungal mirukajeevankalukkullum aannilaakilum pennnnilaakilum malatiruppathillai. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

15 Karththar sakala Nnoykalaiyum unnaivittu vilakkuvaar; unakkuth therinthirukkira ekipthiyarin kotiya rokangalil ontum unmael varappannnnaamal, unnaip pakaikkira yaavarmaelum avaikalai varappannnuvaar. And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

16 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnidaththil oppukkodukkum sakala janangalaiyum nirmoolamaakkakkadavaay; un kann avarkalukku irangaathiruppathaaka; avarkal thaevarkalai nee seviyaamal iruppaayaaka; athu unakkuk kannnniyaayirukkum. And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

17 Antha jaathikal ennilum janam peruththavaikal, naan avarkalaith thuraththividuvathu eppati entu un iruthayaththil sollikkonndaayaanaal, If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?

18 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar paarvonukkum ekipthiyar yaavarukkum seythathaiyum, Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;

19 Un kannkal kannda periya sothanaikalaiyum, ataiyaalangalaiyum arputhangalaiyum, un thaevanaakiya Karththar unnaip purappadappannnnik kaannpiththa palaththa kaiyaiyum ongiya puyaththaiyum nantay ninaiththu, avarkalukkup payappadaathiru; nee paarththup payappadukira ellaa janangalukkum un thaevanaakiya Karththar appatiyae seyvaar. 20 Meethiyaayirunthu unakkuth thappi oliththukkollukiravarkalum alinthupokumattum un thaevanaakiya Karththar avarkalukkullae kulavikalai anuppuvaar. Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.

21 Avarkalaip paarththup payappadavaenndaam; ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar ungalukkullae irukkiraar, avar vallamaiyum payangaramumaana Dhevan. Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

22 Antha jaathikalai un thaevanaakiya Karththar konjam konjamaay unnaivittuth thuraththividuvaar; nee avarkalai orumikka nirmoolamaakkavaenndaam; nirmoolamaakkinaal kaattumirukangal unnidaththil perukippokum. And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

23 Un thaevanaakiya Karththar avarkalai unnidaththil oppukkoduththu, avarkal aliyumattum avarkalai mikavum kalangatippaar. But the LORD thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

24 Avarkalutaiya raajaakkalai un kaiyil oppukkoduppaar; avarkal paer vaanaththingeel iraathapatikku avarkalaich sangarikkak kadavaay; nee avarkalaich sangariththuth theerumattum oruvarum unakku ethirththu nirkamaattarkal. And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.

25 Avarkal thaevarkalin vikkirakangalai akkiniyinaal sutterikkakkadavaay; nee avaikalaal sikkikkollaathapatikku, avaikalil irukkira velliyaiyum ponnaiyum ichchiyaamalum, athai eduththukkollaamalum iruppaayaaka; avaikal un thaevanaakiya karththarukku aruvaruppaanavaikal. 26 Avaikalaipola nee saapaththukkullaakaathapati aruvaruppaanathai unveettilae konndupokaayaaka; athaich see entu veraுththu muttilum aruvarukkak kadavaay, athu saapaththirkullaanathu. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
