the Lord אֲדֹנָ֣י ʾădōnāy uh-doh-NAI
God; יְהוִ֔ה yĕhōwi yeh-hoh-VEE
Because that יַ֣עַן yaʿan ya-AN
hath dealt עֲשׂ֥וֹת ʿāśâ ah-SA
Edom אֱד֛וֹם ʾĕdōm ay-DOME
by taking בִּנְקֹ֥ם nāqam na-KAHM
vengeance, נָקָ֖ם nāqām na-KAHM
against the house לְבֵ֣ית bayit ba-YEET
of Judah יְהוּדָ֑ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
and hath greatly וַיֶּאְשְׁמ֥וּ ʾāšam ah-SHAHM
offended, אָשׁ֖וֹם ʾāšam ah-SHAHM
and revenged himself upon them; וְנִקְּמ֥וּ nāqam na-KAHM
