Isaiah 44 in Tamil

1 இப்போதும், என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபே, நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இஸ்ரவேலே, கேள். Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:

2 உன்னை உண்டாக்கினவரும், தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் உன்னை உருவாக்கினவரும், உனக்குத் துணைசெய்கிறவருமாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது; என் தாசனாகிய யாக்கோபே, நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட யெஷூரனே, பயப்படாதே. Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

3 தாகமுள்ளவன்மேல் தண்ணீரையும், வறண்ட நிலத்தின்மேல் ஆறுகளையும் ஊற்றுவேன்; உன் சந்ததியின்மேல் என் ஆவியையும், உன் சந்தானத்தின்மேல் என் ஆசீர்வாதத்தையும் ஊற்றுவேன். For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

4 அதினால் அவர்கள் புல்லின் நடுவே நீர்க்கால்களின் ஓரத்திலுள்ள அலரிச்செடிகளைப்போல வருவார்கள். And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

5 ஒருவன், நான் கர்த்தருடையவன் என்பான்; ஒருவன் யாக்கோபின்பேரைத் தரித்துக்கொள்வான்; ஒருவன், தான் கர்த்தருடையவன் என்று கையெழுத்துப்போட்டு, இஸ்ரவேலின் நாமத்தைத் தரித்துக்கொள்வான். One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

6 நான் முந்தினவரும், நான் பிந்தினவருந்தானே; என்னைத்தவிர தேவன் இல்லையென்று, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய கர்த்தரும், சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய அவனுடைய மீட்பரும் சொல்லுகிறார். Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

7 பூர்வகாலத்து ஜனங்களை நான் ஸ்தாபித்தது முதற்கொண்டு, என்னைப்போல எதையாகிலும் வரவழைத்து, இன்னின்னதென்று முன்னறிவித்து, எனக்கு முன்னே வரிசையாக நிறுத்தத்தக்கவன் யார்? நிகழ்காரியங்களையும் வருங்காரியங்களையும் தங்களுக்கு அவர்கள் அறிவிக்கட்டும். And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

8 நீங்கள் கலங்காமலும் பயப்படாமலும் இருங்கள்; அக்காலமுதற்கொண்டு நான் அதை உனக்கு விளங்கப்பண்ணினதும் முன்னறிவித்ததுமில்லையோ? இதற்கு நீங்களே என் சாட்சிகள், என்னைத் தவிர தேவனுண்டோ? வேறொரு கன்மலையும் இல்லையே; ஒருவனையும் அறியேன். Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

9 விக்கிரகங்களை உருவாக்குகிற யாவரும் வீணர்; அவர்களால் இச்சிக்கப்பட்டவைகள் ஒன்றுக்கும் உதவாது; அவைகள் ஒன்றும் காணாமலும், ஒன்றும் அறியாமலும் இருக்கிறதென்று தங்களுக்கு வெட்கமுண்டாக அவைகளுக்குத் தாங்களே சாட்சிகளாயிருக்கிறார்கள். They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

10 ஒன்றுக்கும் உதவாத தெய்வத்தை உருவாக்கி, விக்கிரகத்தை வார்ப்பிக்கிறவன் எப்படிப்பட்டவன்? Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

11 இதோ, அவனுடைய கூட்டாளிகளெல்லாரும் வெட்கமடைவார்கள்; தொழிலாளிகள் நரஜீவன்கள்தானே; அவர்கள் எல்லாரும் கூடிவந்து நிற்கட்டும், அவர்கள் ஏகமாய்த் திகைத்துவெட்கப்படுவார்கள். Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

12 கொல்லன் இரும்பைக் குறட்டால் இடுக்கி, உலையிலே காயவைத்து, சுத்திகளால் அதை உருவாக்கி, தன்புயபலத்தினால் அதைப் பண்படுத்துகிறான்; பட்டினியாயிருந்து பெலனற்றுப்போகிறான்; தண்ணீர் குடியாமல் களைத்துப்போகிறான். The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.

13 தச்சன் நூல்பிடித்து, மட்டப்பலகையால் மரத்துக்குக் குறிபோட்டு உளிகளினால் உருப்படுத்தி கவராசத்தினால் அதை வகுத்து, மனுஷ சாயலாக மனுஷரூபத்தின்படி உருவமாக்குகிறான்; அதைக் கோவிலிலே நாட்டி வைக்கிறான். The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

14 அவன் தனக்குக் கேதுருக்களை வெட்டுகிறான்; ஒரு மருதமரத்தையாவது கர்வாலிமரத்தையாவது, தெரிந்துகொண்டு, காட்டுமரங்களிலே பெலத்த மரத்தைத் தன் காரியத்துக்காக வளர்க்கிறான்; அல்லது அசோகமரத்தை நடுகிறான், மழை அதை வளரச்செய்யும். He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.

15 மனுஷனுக்கு அவைகள் அடுப்புக்காகும்போது, அவன் அவைகளில் எடுத்துக் குளிர்காய்கிறான்; நெருப்பைமூட்டி அப்பமும் சுடுகிறான்; அதினால் ஒரு தெய்வத்தையும் உண்டுபண்ணி, அதைப் பணிந்துகொள்ளுகிறான்; ஒரு விக்கிரகத்தையும் அதினால் செய்து, அதை வணங்குகிறான். Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

16 அதில் ஒரு துண்டை அடுப்பில் எரிக்கிறான்; ஒரு துண்டினால் இறைச்சியைச் சமைத்துப் புசித்து, பொரியலைப்பொரித்து திருப்தியாகி குளிருங்காய்ந்து: ஆஆ, அனலானேன்; நெருப்பைக் கண்டேன் என்று சொல்லி; He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:

17 அதில் மீதியான துண்டைத் தனக்கு விக்கிரகதெய்வமாகச் செய்து, அதற்குமுன் விழுந்து, அதை வணங்கி; நீ என் தெய்வம், என்னை இரட்சிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அதை நோக்கி மன்றாடுகிறான். And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

18 அறியாமலும் உணராமலுமிருக்கிறார்கள்; காணாதபடிக்கு அவர்கள் கண்களும், உணராதபடிக்கு அவர்கள் இருதயமும் அடைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

19 அதில் பாதியை அடுப்பில் எரித்தேன்; அதின் தழலின்மேல் அப்பத்தையும் சுட்டு, இறைச்சியையும் பொரித்துப் புசித்தேன்; அதில் மீதியான துண்டை நான் அருவருப்பான விக்கிரகமாக்கலாமா? ஒரு மரக்கட்டையை வணங்கலாமா என்று சொல்ல, தன் மனதில் அவனுக்குத் தோன்றவில்லை; அம்மாத்திரம் அறிவும் சொரணையும் இல்லை. And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

20 அவன் சாம்பலை மேய்கிறான்; வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்ட மனம் அவனை மோசப்படுத்தினது; அவன் தன் ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிக்காமலும்; என் வலதுகையிலே அபத்தம் அல்லவோ இருக்கிறதென்று சொல்லாமலும் இருக்கிறான். He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

21 யாக்கோபே, இஸ்ரவேலே, இவைகளை நினை; நீ என் தாசன்; நான் உன்னை உருவாக்கினேன்; நீ என் தாசன்; இஸ்ரவேலே, நீ என்னால் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை. Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

22 உன் மீறுதல்களை மேகத்தைப்போலவும், உன் பாவங்களைக் கார்மேகத்தைப்போலவும் அகற்றிவிட்டேன்; என்னிடத்தில் திரும்பு; உன்னை நான் மீட்டுக்கொண்டேன். I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

23 வானங்களே, களித்துப் பாடுங்கள்; கர்த்தர் இதைச் செய்தார்; பூதலத்தின் தாழ்விடங்களே, ஆர்ப்பரியுங்கள்; பர்வதங்களே, காடுகளே, காட்டிலுள்ள சகல மரங்களே, கெம்பீரமாய் முழங்குங்கள்; கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபை மீட்டு, இஸ்ரவேலிலே மகிமைப்படுகிறார். Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

24 உன் மீட்பரும், தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் உன்னை உருவாக்கினவருமான கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: நானே எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்கிற கர்த்தர், நான் ஒருவராய் வானங்களை விரித்து, நானே பூமியைப் பரப்பினவர். Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

25 நான் கட்டுக்கதைக்காரரின் குறிகளை அபத்தமாக்கி, குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களை நிர்மூடராக்கி, ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தி, அவர்கள் அறிவைப் பைத்தியமாகப் பண்ணுகிறவர். That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

26 நான் என் ஊழியக்காரரின் வார்த்தையை நிலைப்படுத்தி, என் ஸ்தானாபதிகளின் ஆலோசனையை நிறைவேற்றி: குடியேறுவாய் என்று எருசலேமுக்கும், கட்டப்படுவீர்கள் என்று யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களுக்கும் சொல்லி, அவைகளின் பாழான ஸ்தலங்களை எடுப்பிப்பவர். That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

27 நான் ஆழத்தை நோக்கி: வற்றிப்போ என்றும், உன் நதிகளை வெட்டாந்தரையாக்குவேன் என்றும் சொல்லுகிறவர். That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:

28 கோரேசைக் குறித்து: அவன் என் மேய்ப்பன்; அவன் எருசலேமை நோக்கி நீ கட்டப்படு என்றும்; தேவாலயத்தை நோக்கி: நீ அஸ்திபாரப்படு என்றும் சொல்லி, எனக்குப் பிரியமானதையெல்லாம் நிறைவேற்றுவான் என்று சொல்லுகிறவர் நான். That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

1 Ippothum, en thaasanaakiya yaakkopae, naan therinthukonnda isravaelae, kael. Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:

2 Unnai unndaakkinavarum, thaayin karppaththil unnai uruvaakkinavarum, unakkuth thunnaiseykiravarumaakiya Karththar sollukirathaavathu; en thaasanaakiya yaakkopae, naan therinthukonnda yeshooranae, payappadaathae. Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

3 Thaakamullavanmael thannnneeraiyum, varannda nilaththinmael aaraுkalaiyum oottaுvaen; un santhathiyinmael en aaviyaiyum, un santhaanaththinmael en aaseervaathaththaiyum oottaுvaen. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

4 Athinaal avarkal pullin naduvae neerkkaalkalin oraththilulla alarichchetikalaippola varuvaarkal. And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

5 Oruvan, naan karththarutaiyavan enpaan; oruvan yaakkopinpaeraith thariththukkolvaan; oruvan, thaan karththarutaiyavan entu kaiyeluththuppottu, isravaelin naamaththaith thariththukkolvaan. One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

6 Naan munthinavarum, naan pinthinavarunthaanae; ennaiththavira Dhevan illaiyentu, isravaelin raajaavaakiya karththarum, senaikalin karththaraakiya avanutaiya meetparum sollukiraar. Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

7 Poorvakaalaththu janangalai naan sthaapiththathu mutharkonndu, ennaippola ethaiyaakilum varavalaiththu, inninnathentu munnariviththu, enakku munnae varisaiyaaka niraுththaththakkavan yaar? Nikalkaariyangalaiyum varungaariyangalaiyum thangalukku avarkal arivikkattum. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

8 Neengal kalangaamalum payappadaamalum irungal; akkaalamutharkonndu naan athai unakku vilangappannnninathum munnariviththathumillaiyo? Itharku neengalae en saatchikal, ennaith thavira thaevanunntoo? Vaeroru kanmalaiyum illaiyae; oruvanaiyum ariyaen. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

9 Vikkirakangalai uruvaakkukira yaavarum veenar; avarkalaal ichchikkappattavaikal ontukkum uthavaathu; avaikal ontum kaannaamalum, ontum ariyaamalum irukkirathentu thangalukku vetkamunndaaka avaikalukkuth thaangalae saatchikalaayirukkiraarkal. They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

10 Ontukkum uthavaatha theyvaththai uruvaakki, vikkirakaththai vaarppikkiravan eppatippattavan? Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

11 Itho, avanutaiya koottalikalellaarum vetkamataivaarkal; tholilaalikal narajeevankalthaanae; avarkal ellaarum kootivanthu nirkattum, avarkal aekamaayth thikaiththuvetkappaduvaarkal. Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

12 Kollan irumpaik kurattal idukki, ulaiyilae kaayavaiththu, suththikalaal athai uruvaakki, thanpuyapalaththinaal athaip pannpaduththukiraan; pattiniyaayirunthu pelanattaுppokiraan; thannnneer kutiyaamal kalaiththuppokiraan. 13 Thachchan noolpitiththu, mattappalakaiyaal maraththukkuk kuripottu ulikalinaal uruppaduththi kavaraasaththinaal athai vakuththu, manusha saayalaaka manusharoopaththinpati uruvamaakkukiraan; athaik kovililae naatti vaikkiraan. The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

14 Avan thanakkuk kaethurukkalai vettukiraan; oru maruthamaraththaiyaavathu karvaalimaraththaiyaavathu, therinthukonndu, kaattumarangalilae pelaththa maraththaith than kaariyaththukkaaka valarkkiraan; allathu asokamaraththai nadukiraan, malai athai valarachcheyyum. He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.

15 Manushanukku avaikal aduppukkaakumpothu, avan avaikalil eduththuk kulirkaaykiraan; neruppaimootti appamum sudukiraan; athinaal oru theyvaththaiyum unndupannnni, athaip panninthukollukiraan; oru vikkirakaththaiyum athinaal seythu, athai vanangukiraan. Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

16 Athil oru thunntai aduppil erikkiraan; oru thunntinaal iraichchiyaich samaiththup pusiththu, poriyalaipporiththu thirupthiyaaki kulirungaaynthu: aaaa, analaanaen; neruppaik kanntaen entu solli; He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:

17 Athil meethiyaana thunntaith thanakku vikkirakatheyvamaakach seythu, atharkumun vilunthu, athai vanangi; nee en theyvam, ennai iratchikka vaenndum entu athai Nnokki mantadukiraan. And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

18 Ariyaamalum unaraamalumirukkiraarkal; kaannaathapatikku avarkal kannkalum, unaraathapatikku avarkal iruthayamum ataikkappattirukkirathu. They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

19 Athil paathiyai aduppil eriththaen; athin thalalinmael appaththaiyum suttu, iraichchiyaiyum poriththup pusiththaen; athil meethiyaana thunntai naan aruvaruppaana vikkirakamaakkalaamaa? Oru marakkattaைyai vanangalaamaa entu solla, than manathil avanukkuth thontavillai; ammaaththiram arivum sorannaiyum illai. And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

20 Avan saampalai maeykiraan; vanjikkappatta manam avanai mosappaduththinathu; avan than aaththumaavaith thappuvikkaamalum; en valathukaiyilae apaththam allavo irukkirathentu sollaamalum irukkiraan. He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

21 Yaakkopae, isravaelae, ivaikalai ninai; nee en thaasan; naan unnai uruvaakkinaen; nee en thaasan; isravaelae, nee ennaal marakkappaduvathillai. Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

22 Un meeraுthalkalai maekaththaippolavum, un paavangalaik kaarmaekaththaippolavum akattivittaேn; ennidaththil thirumpu; unnai naan meettukkonntaen. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

23 Vaanangalae, kaliththup paadungal; Karththar ithaich seythaar; poothalaththin thaalvidangalae, aarppariyungal; parvathangalae, kaadukalae, kaattilulla sakala marangalae, kempeeramaay mulangungal; Karththar yaakkopai meettu, isravaelilae makimaippadukiraar. Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

24 Un meetparum, thaayin karppaththil unnai uruvaakkinavarumaana Karththar sollukirathaavathu: naanae ellaavattaைyum seykira Karththar, naan oruvaraay vaanangalai viriththu, naanae poomiyaip parappinavar. Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

25 Naan kattukkathaikkaararin kurikalai apaththamaakki, kurisollukiravarkalai nirmoodaraakki, njaanikalai vetkappaduththi, avarkal arivaip paiththiyamaakap pannnukiravar. That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

26 Naan en ooliyakkaararin vaarththaiyai nilaippaduththi, en sthaanaapathikalin aalosanaiyai niraivaetti: kutiyaeraுvaay entu erusalaemukkum, kattappaduveerkal entu yoothaavin pattanangalukkum solli, avaikalin paalaana sthalangalai eduppippavar. That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

27 Naan aalaththai Nnokki: vattippo entum, un nathikalai vettantharaiyaakkuvaen entum sollukiravar. That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:

28 Koraesaik kuriththu: avan en maeyppan; avan erusalaemai Nnokki nee kattappadu entum; thaevaalayaththai Nnokki: nee asthipaarappadu entum solli, enakkup piriyamaanathaiyellaam niraivaettaுvaan entu sollukiravar naan.
