Deuteronomy 22 in Tamil

1 உன் சகோதரனுடைய மாடாவது ஆடாவது வழிதப்பிப்போகிறதைக் கண்டாயானால், அதைக் காணாதவன்போல் இராமல், அதை உன் சகோதரனிடத்துக்குத் திருப்பிக்கொண்டு போகக்கடவாய். Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

2 உன் சகோதரன் உனக்குச் சமீபமாயிராமலும் உனக்கு அறிமுகமாயிராமலும் இருந்தால், நீ அதை வீட்டிற்குக் கொண்டுபோய், அதை உன் சகோதரன் தேடிவருமட்டும் உன்னிடத்திலேவைத்து, அவனுக்குத் திரும்பக் கொடுக்கக்கடவாய். And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.

3 அப்படியே அவன் கழுதையைக்குறித்தும் செய்யக்கடவாய்; அவன் வஸ்திரத்தைக்குறித்தும் அப்படியே செய்யக்கடவாய்; உன் சகோதரனிடத்திலிருந்து, காணாமற்போனவைகளில் எதையாகிலும் கண்டுபிடித்தாயானால் அப்படியே செய்யக்கடவாய்; அவைகளை நீ காணாதவன்போல் விட்டுப்போகலாகாது. In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

4 உன் சகோதரனுடைய கழுதையாவது அவனுடைய மாடாவது வழியிலே விழுந்துகிடக்கிறதைக் கண்டாயானால், அதைக் காணாதவன்போல விட்டுப்போகாமல், அவனோடேகூட அதைத் தூக்கியெடுத்துவிடுவாயாக. Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

5 புருஷரின் உடைகளை ஸ்திரீகள் தரிக்கலாகாது, ஸ்திரீகளின் உடைகளைப் புருஷர் தரிக்கலாகாது; அப்படிச் செய்கிறவர்கள் எல்லாரும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானவர்கள். The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

6 வழியருகே ஒரு மரத்திலாவது தரையிலாவது குஞ்சுகளாயினும் முட்டைகளாயினுமுள்ள ஒரு குருவிக்கூடு உனக்குத்தென்படும்போது, தாயானது குஞ்சுகளின்மேலாவது முட்டைகளின்மேலாவது அடைகாத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தால், நீ குஞ்சுகளோடே தாயையும் பிடிக்கலாகாது. If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

7 தாயைப் போகவிட்டு, குஞ்சுகளைமாத்திரம் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளலாம்; அப்பொழுது நீ நன்றாயிருப்பாய்; உன் நாட்களும் நீடித்திருக்கும். But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

8 நீ புதுவீட்டைக் கட்டினால், ஒருவன் உன் மெத்தையிலிருந்து விழுகிறதினாலே, நீ இரத்தப்பழியை உன் வீட்டின்மேல் சுமத்திக͠Εொள்γாதபடிக்கு, அதற்குக் கைப்பிடிசுவரைக் கட்டவேண்டும். When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.

9 உன் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்திலே பற்பலவிதமான விதையை விதைக்காயாக; இப்படிச் செய்தால் நீ விதைத்தவைகளின் பயிரையும், திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தின் பலனையும் தீட்டுப்படுத்துவாய். Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.

10 மாட்டையும் கழுதையையும் பிணைத்து உழாதிருப்பாயாக. Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

11 ஆட்டுமயிரும் பஞ்சுநூலும் கலந்த வஸ்திரத்தை உடுத்திக்கொள்ளாயாக. Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen together.

12 நீ தரித்துக்கொள்கிற உன் மேல் சட்டையின் நான்கு ஓரங்களிலும் தொங்கல்களை உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக. Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

13 ஒரு ஸ்திரீயை விவாகம்பண்ணின ஒருவன் அவளிடத்தில் பிரவேசித்தபின்பு அவளை வெறுத்து: If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,

14 நான் இந்த ஸ்திரீயை விவாகம்பண்ணி, அவளிடத்தில் சேர்ந்தபோது கன்னிமையைக் காணவில்லை என்று அவள்மேல் ஆவலாதியான விசேஷங்களைச் சாற்றி, அவளுக்கு அவதூறு உண்டாக்கினால்; And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

15 அந்த ஸ்திரீயின் தகப்பனும் அவள் தாயும் அவளுடைய கன்னிமையின் அடையாளத்தைப் பட்டணத்து வாசலிலுள்ள மூப்பரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவர்கள். Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:

16 அங்கே அந்தப் பெண்ணின் தகப்பன்: என் மகளை இந்த மனிதனுக்கு மனைவியாகக் கொடுத்தேன், இவன் அவளை வெறுத்து, And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;

17 நான் உன் மகளிடத்தில் கன்னிமையைக் காணவில்லையென்று ஆவலாதியான விசேஷங்களை அவள்மேல் சாற்றுகிறான்; என் மகளுடைய கன்னிமையின் அடையாளம் இங்கே இருக்கிறது என்று மூப்பரிடத்தில் சொல்வானாக; பின்பு பட்டணத்து மூப்பருக்கு முன்பாக அந்த வஸ்திரத்தை விரிக்கக்கடவர்கள். And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

18 அப்பொழுது அந்தப் பட்டணத்து மூப்பர் அந்த மனிதனைப் பிடித்து, அவனைத் தண்டித்து, And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

19 அவன் இஸ்ரவேலில் ஒரு கன்னியை அவதூறுபண்ணினதினாலே, அவன் கையில் நூறு வெள்ளிக்காசை அபராதமாக வாங்கி, பெண்ணின் தகப்பனுக்குக்கொடுக்கக்கடவர்கள்; அவளோ அவனுக்கு மனைவியாயிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் தன் ஜீவனுள்ளளவும் அவளைத் தள்ளிவிடக்கூடாது. And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

20 அந்தப் பெண்ணிடத்தில் கன்னிமை காணப்படவில்லையென்னும் சங்கதி மெய்ப்பட்டதேயானால், But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

21 அந்தப் பெண்ணை அவள் தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டுவாசலுக்கு முன்பாகக் கொண்டுவந்து, அவள் இஸ்ரவேலில் மதிகெட்ட காரியத்தைச் செய்து, தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டிலே வேசித்தனம்பண்ணினபடியினாலே, அவளுடைய பட்டணத்து மனிதர் அவளைக் கல்லெறிந்து கொல்லக்கடவர்கள்; இப்படியே தீமையை உன் நடுவிலிருந்து விலக்கக்கடவாய். Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

22 புருஷனுக்கு விவாகம்பண்ணப்பட்ட ஸ்திரீயோடே ஒருவன் சயனிக்கக் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டால், அந்த ஸ்திரீயோடே சயனித்த மனிதனும் அந்த ஸ்திரீயும் இருவரும் சாகவேண்டும்; இப்படியே தீமையை இஸ்ரவேலிலிருந்து விலக்கக்கடவாய். If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

23 கன்னிகையான ஒரு பெண் ஒருவனுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கையில், மற்றொருவன் அவளை ஊருக்குள்ளே கண்டு, அவளோடே சயனித்தால், If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

24 அப்பொழுது அந்தப் பெண் ஊருக்குள்ளிருந்தும் கூக்குரலிடாததினாலும், அந்த மனிதன் பிறனுடைய மனைவியைக் கற்பழித்தபடியினாலும், இருவரையும் அந்தப் பட்டணத்து வாசலுக்குமுன் கொண்டுபோய், அவர்கள்மேல் கல்லெறிந்து கொல்லக்கடவீர்கள்; இப்படியே தீமையை உன் நடுவிலிருந்து விலக்கக்கடவாய். Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbor's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

25 ஒருவனுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்ணை வெளியிலே ஒருவன் கண்டு, அவளைப் பலவந்தமாய்ப் பிடித்து, அவளோடே சயனித்தானேயாகில், அவளோடே சயனித்த மனிதன் மாத்திரம் சாகக்கடவன். But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.

26 பெண்ணுக்கு ஒன்றும் செய்யலாகாது; பெண்ணின்மேல் சாவுக்கு ஏதுவான குற்றம் இல்லை; இக்காரியம் ஒருவன் மற்றொருவன்மேல் எழும்பி அவனுடைய ஜீவனை வாங்கினதுபோல இருக்கிறது. But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbor, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

27 வெளியிலே அவன் அவளைக் கண்டுபிடித்தான்; நியமிக்கப்பட்ட பெண் அப்பொழுது கூக்குரலிட்டும் அவளைக் காப்பாற்றுவார் இல்லாமற்போயிற்று. For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

28 நியமிக்கப்படாத கன்னியாஸ்திரீயாகிய ஒரு பெண்ணை ஒருவன் கண்டு, கையைப் பிடித்து அவளோடே சயனிக்கையில், அவர்கள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டால், If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

29 அவளோடே சயனித்த மனிதன் பெண்ணின் தகப்பனுக்கு ஐம்பது வெள்ளிக்காசைக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்; அவன் அவளைக் கற்பழித்தபடியினால், அவள் அவனுக்கு மனைவியாயிருக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் உயிரோடிருக்குமளவும் அவளைத் தள்ளிவிடக்கூடாது. Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

30 ஒருவனும் தன் தகப்பனுடைய மனைவியைச் சேரலாகாது; தன் தகப்பன் மானத்தை அவன் வெளிப்படுத்தலாகாது. A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.

1 Un sakotharanutaiya maadaavathu aadaavathu valithappippokirathaik kanndaayaanaal, athaik kaannaathavanpol iraamal, athai un sakotharanidaththukkuth thiruppikkonndu pokakkadavaay. Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

2 Un sakotharan unakkuch sameepamaayiraamalum unakku arimukamaayiraamalum irunthaal, nee athai veettirkuk konndupoy, athai un sakotharan thaetivarumattum unnidaththilaevaiththu, avanukkuth thirumpak kodukkakkadavaay. And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.

3 Appatiyae avan kaluthaiyaikkuriththum seyyakkadavaay; avan vasthiraththaikkuriththum appatiyae seyyakkadavaay; un sakotharanidaththilirunthu, kaannaamarponavaikalil ethaiyaakilum kanndupitiththaayaanaal appatiyae seyyakkadavaay; avaikalai nee kaannaathavanpol vittuppokalaakaathu. In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

4 Un sakotharanutaiya kaluthaiyaavathu avanutaiya maadaavathu valiyilae vilunthukidakkirathaik kanndaayaanaal, athaik kaannaathavanpola vittuppokaamal, avanotaekooda athaith thookkiyeduththuviduvaayaaka. Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

5 Purusharin utaikalai sthireekal tharikkalaakaathu, sthireekalin utaikalaip purushar tharikkalaakaathu; appatich seykiravarkal ellaarum un thaevanaakiya karththarukku aruvaruppaanavarkal. The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

6 Valiyarukae oru maraththilaavathu tharaiyilaavathu kunjukalaayinum muttaைkalaayinumulla oru kuruvikkoodu unakkuththenpadumpothu, thaayaanathu kunjukalinmaelaavathu muttaைkalinmaelaavathu ataikaaththukkonntirunthaal, nee kunjukalotae thaayaiyum pitikkalaakaathu. 7 Thaayaip pokavittu, kunjukalaimaaththiram eduththukkollalaam; appoluthu nee nantayiruppaay; un naatkalum neetiththirukkum. But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

8 Nee puthuveettaைk kattinaal, oruvan un meththaiyilirunthu vilukirathinaalae, nee iraththappaliyai un veettinmael sumaththika͠Εொlγாthapatikku, atharkuk kaippitisuvaraik kattavaenndum. When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.

9 Un thiraatchaththottaththilae parpalavithamaana vithaiyai vithaikkaayaaka; ippatich seythaal nee vithaiththavaikalin payiraiyum, thiraatchaththottaththin palanaiyum theettuppaduththuvaay. Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.

10 Maattaைyum kaluthaiyaiyum pinnaiththu ulaathiruppaayaaka. Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

11 Aattumayirum panjunoolum kalantha vasthiraththai uduththikkollaayaaka. Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen together.

12 Nee thariththukkolkira un mael sattaைyin naanku orangalilum thongalkalai unndupannnuvaayaaka. Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

13 Oru sthireeyai vivaakampannnnina oruvan avalidaththil piravaesiththapinpu avalai veraுththu: If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,

14 Naan intha sthireeyai vivaakampannnni, avalidaththil sernthapothu kannimaiyaik kaanavillai entu avalmael aavalaathiyaana viseshangalaich saatti, avalukku avathooraு unndaakkinaal; And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

15 Antha sthireeyin thakappanum aval thaayum avalutaiya kannimaiyin ataiyaalaththaip pattanaththu vaasalilulla moopparidaththil konnduvarakkadavarkal. Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:

16 Angae anthap pennnnin thakappan: en makalai intha manithanukku manaiviyaakak koduththaen, ivan avalai veraுththu, And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;

17 Naan un makalidaththil kannimaiyaik kaanavillaiyentu aavalaathiyaana viseshangalai avalmael saattaுkiraan; en makalutaiya kannimaiyin ataiyaalam ingae irukkirathu entu moopparidaththil solvaanaaka; pinpu pattanaththu moopparukku munpaaka antha vasthiraththai virikkakkadavarkal. And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

18 Appoluthu anthap pattanaththu mooppar antha manithanaip pitiththu, avanaith thanntiththu, And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

19 Avan isravaelil oru kanniyai avathooraுpannnninathinaalae, avan kaiyil nooraு vellikkaasai aparaathamaaka vaangi, pennnnin thakappanukkukkodukkakkadavarkal; avalo avanukku manaiviyaayirukkavaenndum; avan than jeevanullalavum avalaith thallividakkoodaathu. And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

20 Anthap pennnnidaththil kannimai kaanappadavillaiyennum sangathi meyppattathaeyaanaal, But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

21 Anthap pennnnai aval thakappanutaiya veettuvaasalukku munpaakak konnduvanthu, aval isravaelil mathiketta kaariyaththaich seythu, than thakappan veettilae vaesiththanampannnninapatiyinaalae, avalutaiya pattanaththu manithar avalaik kallerinthu kollakkadavarkal; ippatiyae theemaiyai un naduvilirunthu vilakkakkadavaay. 22 Purushanukku vivaakampannnappatta sthireeyotae oruvan sayanikkak kanndupitikkappattal, antha sthireeyotae sayaniththa manithanum antha sthireeyum iruvarum saakavaenndum; ippatiyae theemaiyai isravaelilirunthu vilakkakkadavaay. If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

23 Kannikaiyaana oru penn oruvanukku niyamikkappattirukkaiyil, mattaொruvan avalai oorukkullae kanndu, avalotae sayaniththaal, If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

24 Appoluthu anthap penn oorukkullirunthum kookkuralidaathathinaalum, antha manithan piranutaiya manaiviyaik karpaliththapatiyinaalum, iruvaraiyum anthap pattanaththu vaasalukkumun konndupoy, avarkalmael kallerinthu kollakkadaveerkal; ippatiyae theemaiyai un naduvilirunthu vilakkakkadavaay. Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbor's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

25 Oruvanukku niyamikkappatta pennnnai veliyilae oruvan kanndu, avalaip palavanthamaayp pitiththu, avalotae sayaniththaanaeyaakil, avalotae sayaniththa manithan maaththiram saakakkadavan. But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.

26 Pennnukku ontum seyyalaakaathu; pennnninmael saavukku aethuvaana kuttam illai; ikkaariyam oruvan mattaொruvanmael elumpi avanutaiya jeevanai vaanginathupola irukkirathu. But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbor, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

27 Veliyilae avan avalaik kanndupitiththaan; niyamikkappatta penn appoluthu kookkuralittum avalaik kaappaattaுvaar illaamarpoyittaு. For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

28 Niyamikkappadaatha kanniyaasthireeyaakiya oru pennnnai oruvan kanndu, kaiyaip pitiththu avalotae sayanikkaiyil, avarkal kanndupitikkappattal, If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

29 Avalotae sayaniththa manithan pennnnin thakappanukku aimpathu vellikkaasaik kodukkakkadavan; avan avalaik karpaliththapatiyinaal, aval avanukku manaiviyaayirukkavaenndum; avan uyirotirukkumalavum avalaith thallividakkoodaathu. Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

30 Oruvanum than thakappanutaiya manaiviyaich seralaakaathu; than thakappan maanaththai avan velippaduththalaakaathu. A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.
