Daniel 6:4
Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

அப்பொழுது அதிகாரிகளும் தேசாதிபதிகளும் ராஜ்ஜியத்தின் விசாரிப்பிலே தானியேலைக் குற்றப்படுத்தும்படி காரணத்தைத் தேடினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் ஒரு காரணத்தையும் குற்றத்தையும் கண்டுபிடிக்க அவர்களால் முடியாமலிருந்தது; அவன் உண்மையுள்ளவனாக இருந்ததால் அவன்மேல் சுமத்த எந்தவொரு குற்றமும் குறைவும் காணப்படவில்லை.

ஆனால் மற்ற மேற்பார்வையளர்களும், மற்ற தேசாதிபதிகளும் இதனை அறிந்ததும் மிகவும் பொறாமைகொண்டனர். அவர்கள் தானியேலை குற்றஞ்சாட்ட காரணங்களைத் தேடினர். எனவே அவர்கள் தானியேல் அரசு பணிகளைச் செய்யும்போது மிகக் கவனமாகக் கவனித்தனர். ஆனால் அவர்களால் தானியேலிடம் எந்தக் குறையையும் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியவில்லை. தானியேல் நேர்மையாளனாகவும், நம்பிக்கைக்குரியவனாகவும் இருந்தான். அவன் அரசனை ஏமாற்றாமல் மிகக் கடுமையாக வேலை செய்து வந்தான்.
