பின்னும் அவர் ஆயிரமுழம் அளந்தார்; அங்கே அது நான் கடக்கக் கூடாத நதியாயிருந்தது; தண்ணீர் நீச்சாழமும் கடக்கமுடியாத நதியுமாயிருந்தது.

நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லிச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார், நீங்கள் அந்நியதேசங்களில் மீதியானவர்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாக இருக்கும்படி அவர்கள் உங்களைப் பாழாக்கி, உங்களைச் சுற்றிலுமிருந்து விழுங்கினபடியினாலும், நீங்கள் வாயாடிகளுக்குப் பேச்சும் மக்களுக்கு அவதூறுமானவர்களானபடியினாலும்,

“எனக்காக இஸ்ரவேல் மலைகளிடம் பேசு. கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இவற்றைக் கூறுகிறார் என்று அவர்களிடம் சொல்: ‘பகைவர்கள் உன் நகரங்களை அழித்தனர். அவர்கள் உன்னைச் சுற்றிலும் எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் நின்று தாக்கினார்கள். அவர்கள் இதனைச் செய்தனர். எனவே நீ பிற நாடுகளுக்கு உரியவனானாய். பிறகு ஜனங்கள் உன்னைப்பற்றி பேசி அவதூறு உரைத்தனர்.’”
