அவர்களில் ஆசாப் தலைவனும், சகரியா அவனுக்கு இரண்டாவதுமாயிருந்தான்; ஏயெல், செமிரமோத், யெகியேல், மத்தித்தியா, எலியாப், பெனாயா, ஓபேத்ஏதோம், ஏயெல் என்பவர்கள் தம்புரு சுரமண்டலம் என்னும் கீதவாத்தியங்களை வாசிக்கவும், ஆசாப் கைத்தாளங்களைக் கொட்டவும்,

நான்காயிரம்பேர் வாசல் காக்கிறவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்றும், துதி செய்வற்கு தான் செய்துவைத்த கீதவாத்தியங்களால் நான்காயிரம்பேர் கர்த்தரைத் துதிக்கிறவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்றும் தாவீது சொல்லி,

நாலாயிரம் பேரை வாயில்காப்போராகவும், நாலாயிரம் பேரை ஆண்டவரைப் புகழ்வதற்காகத் தாம் செய்து வைத்திருந்த இசைக்கருவிகளுடன் புகழ் பாடுவோராகவும் நியமித்தார்.

நாலாயிரம்பேர் வாசல் காக்கிறவர்களாயிருக்கவேண்டும் என்றும், துதிசெய்கிறதற்குத் தான் பண்ணுவித்த கீதவாத்தியங்களால் நாலாயிரம்பேர் கர்த்தரைத் துதிக்கிறவர்களாயிருக்கவேண்டும் என்றும் தாவீது சொல்லி,
