‘நீர் கர்த்தர் கோபப்படுகிறதற்கு தாமதம் பண்ணுகிறார். கர்த்தர் பேரன்பு கொண்டவர். சட்டங்களை மீறி குற்றம் செய்கின்றவர்களை கர்த்தர் மன்னிப்பார். ஆனால் அக்கிரமக்காரர்களையும், அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளையும், பேரப்பிள்ளைகளையும், அவர்களின் பிள்ளைகளையும் தண்டிப்பார்’ என்று உம்மைப்பற்றி சொல்லியிருக்கிறபடியால்,
