இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டபின் கர்த்தர் அவர்களோடே உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணுகிறபோது, மோசே ஓரேபிலே அந்தப் பெட்டியில் வைத்த இரண்டு கற்பலகைகளே அல்லாமல் அதிலே வேறொன்றும் இருந்ததில்லை.

அப்பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டிக்குள்ளே இரண்டு கற்பல கைகளைத் தவிர வேறு எதுவும் இல்லை. அவற்றை மோசே ஓரேப் என்ற இடத்தில் பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டிக்குள்ளே வைத்தான். அந்த இடத்தில்தான் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எகிப்தை விட்டு வெளியே வந்ததும் கர்த்தர் அவர்களோடு உடன்படிக்கைச் செய்துக்கொண்டார்.
