நீங்கள் சுதந்தரிக்கிறதற்கு உட்பிரவேசிக்கும் தேசமானது, தேசாதேசங்களுடைய ஜனங்களின் அசங்கியத்தினாலும், அவர்கள் அதை ஒரு முனைதொடங்கி மறுமுனைமட்டும் நிறையப்பண்ணின அவர்களுடைய அருவருப்புகளினாலும் அவர்களுடைய அசுத்தத்தினாலும், தீட்டுப்பட்டதாயிருக்கிறது.

தேவனே, நீர் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களையும், தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும் பயன்படுத்தி உமது கட்டளைகளைக் கொடுத்தீர். நீர், ‘நீங்கள் வாழப் போகிற நாடு அழிந்துபோன நாடு. அது, அங்குள்ள ஜனங்களின் தீயச் செயல்களால் அழிந்து போனது. இந்த நாட்டிலுள்ள ஒவ்வொரு இடத்திலும் அங்குள்ள ஜனங்கள் பாவம் செய்தனர். அவர்கள் இந்தத் தேசத்தைத் தங்கள் பாவங்களால் அசிங்கப்படுத்திவிட்டனர்.
