யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி: கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்தின்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ண என்னோடேகூட வருகிறீரா என்று கேட்டான். யோசபாத் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவை நோக்கி: நான்தான் நீர், என்னுடைய ஜனங்கள் உம்முடைய ஜனங்கள், என்னுடைய குதிரைகள் உம்முடைய குதிரைகள் என்றான்.

எனவே யோசபாத்திடம், “நீ என்னோடு சேர்ந்து ராமோத்துக்காகப் போரிட வருகிறாயா?” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு அவன், “சரி, உன்னோடு சேர்ந்துகொள்கிறேன். எனது படை வீரர்களும் குதிரைகளும் உன் படையோடு சேர்ந்துகொள்ளத் தயார்.

எனவே. அவன் யோசபாத்திடம், “இராமோத்து-கிலாயாதோடு போரிட என்னுடன் வருகின்றீரா?” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு யோசபாத்து இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசனை நோக்கி, “உம்மைப் போலவே நானும் தயார்; உம் மக்களைப் போலவே என் மக்களும்; உம் குதிரைகளைப் போலவே என் குதிரைகளும்” என்றான்.⒫

Yosapaaththai Nnokki: geelaeyaaththilulla raamoththinmael yuththampannna ennotaekooda varukireeraa entu kaettan. Yosapaath isravaelin raajaavai Nnokki: naanthaan neer, ennutaiya janangal ummutaiya janangal, ennutaiya kuthiraikal ummutaiya kuthiraikal entan.
