அவர்கள் உன் வாக்குக்குச் செவி கொடுப்பார்கள்; அப்பொழுது நீயும் இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரும் எகிப்தின் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் போய்: எபிரெயருடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் எங்களைச் சந்தித்தார்; இப்பொழுதும் நாங்கள் வனாந்தரத்தில் மூன்று நாள் பிரயாணம்போய், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடும்படி எங்களைப் போகவிடவேண்டுமென்று சொல்லுங்கள்.

அவர்கள் உன்னுடைய வார்த்தையை கேட்பார்கள்; அப்பொழுது நீயும் இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பர்களும் எகிப்தின் ராஜாவினிடம் போய்: எபிரெயர்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் எங்களைச் சந்தித்தார்; இப்பொழுதும் நாங்கள் வனாந்திரத்தில் மூன்று நாட்கள் பயணம்போய், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிடும்படி எங்களைப் போகவிடவேண்டுமென்று சொல்லுங்கள்.

“மூப்பர்கள் (தலைவர்கள்) உனக்குச் செவி கொடுப்பார்கள். பின்னர் நீயும், அவர்களும் எகிப்திய அரசனிடம் செல்லுங்கள். நீ அரசனிடம், ‘எபிரெய ஜனங்களின் தேவனாகிய யேகோவா எங்களிடம் பாலைவனத்தில் மூன்று நாட்கள் பயணப்படும்படியாகக் கூறினார். எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யேகோவாவுக்கு நாங்கள் அங்கு பலி செலுத்தவேண்டும்’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
