இனிக் காணாதிருப்பாய் என்று நான் உனக்குச் சொன்னவழியாய், கர்த்தர் உன்னைக் கப்பல்களிலே எகிப்திற்குத் திரும்பக் கொண்டுபோகப்பண்ணுவார்; அங்கே உங்கள் சத்துருக்களுக்கு வேலைக்காரராகவும் வேலைக்காரிகளாகவும் விற்கப்படுவீர்கள்; உங்களைக் கொள்வாரும் இல்லாதிருப்பார்கள் என்றான்.

எனக்குச் செலுத்தும் பலிகளின் மாம்சத்தை அவர்கள் பலியிட்டுப் புசிக்கிறார்கள்; கர்த்தர் அவர்கள்மேல் பிரியமாயிரார்; அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவர் நினைத்து, அவர்கள் பாவத்தை விசாரிக்கும்போதோவெனில், அவர்கள் எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்பிப்போவார்கள்.

உன்னை அடிமைத்தன வீடாகிய எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே.

அவர்களை நோக்கி: புறஜாதியாருக்கு விற்கப்பட்ட யூதராகிய எங்கள் சகோதரரை நாங்கள் எங்கள் சக்திக்குத்தக்கதாய் மீட்டிருக்கையில், நீங்கள் திரும்ப உங்கள் சகோதரரை விற்கலாமா? இவர்கள் நமக்கு விலைப்பட்டுப்போகலாமா என்றேன்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் மறு உத்தரவு சொல்ல இடமில்லாமல் மவுனமாயிருந்தார்கள்.
