நான் என் சகோதரனாகிய ஆனானியையும், அநேகரைப்பார்க்கிலும் உண்மையுள்ளவனும் தேவனுக்குப் பயந்தவனுமாயிருந்த அரமனைத்தலைவனாகிய அனனியாவையும், எருசலேமின் காவல்விசாரணைக்கு ஏற்படுத்தினேன்.

அடுத்து, நான் எனது சகோதரனான ஆனானியைத் எருசலேமின் பொறுப்பாளனாக நியமித்தேன். கோட்டையின் தலைவனாக அனனியாவைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தேன். நான் ஆனானியைத் தோந்தெடுத்தேன். ஏனென்றால் அவன் மிகவும் நேர்மையானவனாக இருந்தான். அநேக மனிதர்கள் செய்வதைவிட அவன் அதிகமாக தேவனுக்கு பயந்தான்.
