பின்னும் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது: சீயோன் குமாரத்திகள் அகந்தையாயிருந்து, கழுத்தை நெறித்து நடந்து, கண்களால் மருட்டிப்பார்த்து, ஒய்யாரமாய் நடந்து, தங்கள் கால்களில் சிலம்பு ஒலிக்கத் திரிகிறார்கள்.

கர்த்தர்: “சீயோனில் உள்ள பெண்கள் பெருமிதம் கொண்டிருந்தனர். அவர்கள் காற்றில் தம் தலைகளைத் தூக்கிய வண்ணம் நடந்தனர். மற்றவர்களைவிடச் சிறந்தவர்களைப்போன்று நடித்தனர். அவர்கள் கண்ணடித்து, தம் கால் தண்டைகள் ஒலிக்க ஒய்யாரமாக நடந்து திரிந்தனர்” என்றார்.

Because יַ֚עַן yaʿan ya-AN
כִּ֤י kî kee
are haughty, גָֽבְהוּ֙ gābah ɡa-VA
the daughters בְּנ֣וֹת bat baht
of Zion צִיּ֔וֹן ṣiyyôn tsee-YONE
and walk וַתֵּלַ֙כְנָה֙ hālak ha-LAHK
with stretched forth נְטוּוֹ֣ת nāṭâ na-TA
necks גָּר֔וֹן gārôn ɡa-RONE
and wanton וּֽמְשַׂקְּר֖וֹת śāqar sa-KAHR
eyes, עֵינָ֑יִם ʿayin ah-YEEN
walking הָל֤וֹךְ hālak ha-LAHK
and mincing וְטָפֹף֙ ṭāpap ta-FAHF
they go, תֵּלַ֔כְנָה hālak ha-LAHK
