கர்த்தரைச் சேவிக்கவும், கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை நேசிக்கவும் அவருக்கு ஊழியக்காரராயிர`Ε்கவும், அவரைச் சேர்ந்து, ஓய்வுநாளைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காதபடி ஆசரித்து என் உடன்படிக்கையைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிற அந்நியபுத்திரர் அனைவரையும்,

கர்த்தரோடு யூதரால்லாத சில ஜனங்களும் சேருவார்கள். அவர்கள் இதைச் செய்வார்கள். எனவே, அவருக்குத் தொண்டு செய்யமுடியும். கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை நேசிக்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் தாங்களாகவே கர்த்தரோடு அவரது ஊழியக்காரர்களாகச் சேருவார்கள். அவர்கள் ஓய்வுநாளை வழிபாட்டுக்குரிய சிறந்த நாளாக எடுத்துக்கொள்வார்கள். அவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து எனது உடன்படிக்கையை (சட்டம்) நெருக்கமாகப் பின்பற்றுவார்கள்.
