ஏனெனில், ஒருதரம் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கப்பட்டும், பரமஈவை ருசிபார்த்தும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியைப் பெற்றும்,

கிறிஸ்துவின் வழியிலிருந்து விலகிய மக்களை மீண்டும் அவ்வாழ்க்கைக்குக் கொண்டுவர முடியுமா? உண்மையைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டவர்களைப் பற்றி நான் பேசுகிறேன். அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய நன்மைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரில் பங்குபெற்று தேவனுடைய செய்தியையும் வர இருக்கிற காலத்தின் வல்லமையையும் அவர்கள் ருசித்திருக்கிறார்கள். மேலும் அவை மிக நல்லவை என அவர்கள் தமக்குத்தாமே கண்டுகொண்டனர். ஆனால் பிறகு அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் வழியை விட்டு விலகினார்கள். மீண்டும் அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் வருவது கடினம். ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவை மீண்டும் ஒருமுறை சிலுவையில் அறைந்து விட்டனர். அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு அவமானத்தை ஏற்படுத்திவிட்டனர்.

❮4-6❯ஏனெனில், ஒரு முறை ஒளியைப் பெற்று, விண்ணகக் கொடையைச் சுவைத்தவர்கள், தூய ஆவியைப் பெற்றவர்கள் ஆவர். கடவுளின் நல்ல வார்த்தையையும் வரவிருக்கும் உலகின் வல்லமையையும் சுவைத்த இவர்கள் நெறி பிறழ்ந்துவிடின், இவர்களை மனம் மாற்றி, மீண்டும் புத்துணர்வு பெறச் செய்வது அரிது. ஏனெனில், இவர்கள் இறைமகனைத் தாங்களே சிலுவையில் அறைந்து, வெளிப்படையாக இழிவுபடுத்துகிறவர்கள் ஆவர்.⒫
