மனுபுத்திரனே; நீ அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; அவர்கள் வார்த்தைகளுக்கும் அஞ்சவேண்டாம்; நெரிஞ்சில்களுக்குள்ளும் முள்ளுகளுக்குள்ளும் நீ தங்கியிருந்தாலும், நீ அவர்கள் வார்த்தைகளுக்குப் பயப்படாமலும் அவர்கள் முகத்துக்குக் கலங்காமலுமிரு; அவர்கள் கலகவீட்டார்.

மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்கும் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; நெரிஞ்சில்களுக்குள்ளும் முட்களுக்குள்ளும் நீ தங்கியிருந்தாலும், நீ தேள்களுக்குள் வாசம்செய்தாலும், நீ அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குப் பயப்படாமலும் அவர்கள் முகத்திற்குக் கலங்காமலும் இரு; அவர்கள் கலகமக்கள்.

“மனுபுத்திரனே, அந்த ஜனங்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதே, அவர்கள் சொல்கின்றவற்றுக்கும் பயப்படாதே. இது உண்மை. அவர்கள் உனக்கு எதிராகத் திரும்பி உன்னைக் காயப்படுத்த விரும்புவார்கள். அவர்கள் முட்களைப் போன்றிருப்பார்கள். நீ தேள்களோடு இருப்பதைப் போன்று நினைப்பாய். ஆனால் அவர்கள் சொல்கின்றவற்றுக்கு நீ பயப்படாதே. அவர்கள் கலகக்காரர்கள். அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதே!

மானிடா! நீ அவர்களுக்கு அஞ்சாதே. அவர்களின் சொற்களைக் கேட்டு நடுங்காதே. முட்புதர்களும் நெருஞ்சில்களும் உன்னைச் சூழ்ந்திருந்தாலும், தேள்களுடன் நீ வாழ்ந்தாலும், அவர்களின் சொற்களுக்கு அஞ்சாதே. அவர்கள் கலகம் செய்யும் வீட்டாராய் இருப்பினும் அவர்களின் பார்வையைக் கண்டு நடுங்காதே.
