நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்தைக் கவனமாய்க் கேட்டு, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானவைகளைச் செய்து, அவர் கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவருடைய நியமங்கள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டால், நான் எகிப்தியருக்கு வரப்பண்ணின வியாதிகளில் ஒன்றையும் உனக்கு வரப்பண்ணேன்; நானே உன் பரிகாரியாகிய கர்த்தர் என்றாРύ.

நீ உன்னுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்தைக் கவனமாகக் கேட்டு, அவருடைய பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானவைகளைச் செய்து, அவருடைய கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கவனித்து, அவருடைய கட்டளைகள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டால், நான் எகிப்தியர்களுக்கு வரச்செய்த வியாதிகளில் ஒன்றையும் உனக்கு வரச்செய்யாதிருப்பேன்; நானே உன்னை குணப்படுத்தும் கர்த்தர் என்றார்.

கர்த்தர், “நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டும். அவர் சரியெனக் கூறும் காரியங்களை நீங்கள் செய்யவேண்டும். கர்த்தரின் எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளுக்கும், சட்டங்களுக்கும் நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிந்தால், எகிப்தியர்களைப்போல நோயுறமாட்டீர்கள். கர்த்தராகிய நான் எகிப்தியருக்கு கொடுத்த எந்த நோயையும் உங்களுக்கு வரவிடமாட்டேன். நானே கர்த்தர். உங்களைக் குணப்படுத்துகிறவர் நான் ஒருவரே” என்றார்.
