ஏசாயா 18:4
நான் அமர்ந்திருந்து பயிரின்மேல் காயும் காந்தியுள்ள வெயிலைப்போலவும், அறுப்புக்காலத்து உஷ்ணத்தில் உண்டாகும் பனிமேகத்தைப்போலவும், என் வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து கண்ணோக்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் என்னுடனே சொன்னார்.

நான் அமர்ந்திருந்து பயிரின்மேல் விழும் சூடான வெயிலைப்போலவும், அறுப்புக்காலத்து வெப்பத்தில் உண்டாகும் பனிமேகத்தைப்போலவும், என் இருப்பிடத்திலிருந்து கண்ணோக்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் என்னுடனே சொன்னார்.

கர்த்தர் என்னிடம், “நான் எனக்காகத் தயார் செய்யப்பட்ட இடத்தில் இருப்பேன். நான் நிகழ்பவற்றை அமைதியாகக் கவனிப்பேன். அழகான ஒரு கோடை நாளில் நடுப்பகலில் ஜனங்கள் ஓய்வாக இருப்பார்கள். (இது வெப்பமுள்ள அறுவடைக்காலமாக இருக்கும். மழை இல்லாதபோது, காலைப்பனிமட்டும் இருக்கும்.)
