And he said, Lay not yours hand upon the lad, neither do you any thing unto him: for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, yours only son from me.

அப்பொழுது அவர்: சிறுவன்மேல் உன் கையைப் போடாதே, அவனுக்கு ஒன்றும் செய்யாதே; நீ அவனை உன் மகன் என்றும், உனது ஒரே மகன் என்றும் பார்க்காமல் எனக்காக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்ததால் நீ தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவன் என்று இப்பொழுது தெரிந்துகொண்டேன் என்றார்.
