Jeremiah 31 in Tamil

1 அக்காலத்திலே நான் இஸ்ரவேலின் வம்சங்களுக்கெல்லாம் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

2 பட்டίத்திற்குத் தப்பο, மீந்த ஜனம் வனாந்தரத்தில் இரக்கம் பெற்றது; இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதலைக் கட்டளையிடப்போகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

3 பூர்வகாலமுதல் கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்குத் தரிசனையானார் என்பாய்; ஆம் அநாதி சிநேகத்தால் உன்னைச் சிநேகித்தேன்; ஆதலால் காருணியத்தால் உன்னை இழுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறேன். The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

4 இஸ்ரவேல் என்னும் கன்னிகையே, மறுபடியும் உன்னைக் கட்டுவிப்பேன், நீ கட்டப்படுவாய்; மறுபடியும் நீ மேளவாத்தியத்தோடும் ஆடல்பாடல் செய்கிறவர்களின் களிப்புள்ள கூட்டத்தோடும் புறப்படுவாய். Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

5 மறுபடியும் சமாரியாவின் மலைகளிலே திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களை நாட்டுவாய்; நாட்டுகிறவர்கள் அவைகளை நாட்டி, அதின் பலனை அனுபவிப்பார்கள். Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

6 எழுந்திருங்கள், சீயோனில் நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்திற்குப் போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று எப்பிராயீமின் மலைகளிலுள்ள ஜாமக்காரர் கூறுங்காலம் வரும். For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

7 கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: யாக்கோபினிமித்தம் மகிழ்ச்சியாய்க் கெம்பீரித்து, ஜாதிகளுடைய தலைவரினிமித்தம் ஆர்ப்பரியுங்கள்; சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணி, துதித்து: கர்த்தாவே, இஸ்ரவேலில் மீதியான உமது ஜனத்தை இரட்சியும் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

8 இதோ, நான் அவர்களை வடதேசத்திலிருந்து வரப்பண்ணி, அவர்களைப் பூமியின் எல்லைகளிலிருந்து கூட்டிவருவேன்; குருடரும் சப்பாணிகளும், கர்ப்பவதிகளும், பிள்ளைத் தாய்ச்சிகளுங்கூட அவர்களில் இருப்பார்கள்; மகா கூட்டமாய் இவ்விடத்திற்குத் திரும்புவார்கள். Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

9 அழுகையோடும் விண்ணப்பங்களோடும் வருவார்கள்; அவர்களை வழிநடத்துவேன்; அவர்களைத் தண்ணீருள்ள நதிகளண்டைக்கு இடறாத செம்மையான வழியிலே நடக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்; இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நான் பிதாவாயிருக்கிறேன், எப்பீராயீம் என் சேஷ்டபுத்திரனாயிருக்கிறான். They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

10 ஜாதிகளே, நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு, தூரத்திலுள்ள தீவுகளில் அறிவித்து, இஸ்ரவேலைச் சிதறடித்தவர் அதைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் தன் மந்தையைக் காக்கும்வண்ணமாக அதைக் காப்பார் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

11 கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபை மீட்டு, அவனிலும் பலத்தவனுடைய கைக்கு அவனை நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிக்கிறார். For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

12 அவர்கள் வந்து, சீயோனின் உச்சியிலே கெம்பீரித்து, கர்த்தர் அருளும் கோதுமை, திராட்சரசம், எண்ணெய், ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகள், கன்றுக்குட்டிகள் என்பவைகளாகிய இந்த நன்மைகளுக்காக ஓடிவருவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டம்போலிருக்கும்; அவர்கள் இனித் தொய்ந்துபோவதில்லை. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

13 அப்பொழுது கன்னிகைகளும், வாலிபரும், முதியோருங்கூட ஆனந்தக்களிப்பாய் மகிழுவார்கள்; நான் அவர்கள் துக்கத்தைச் சந்தோஷமாக மாற்றி, அவர்களைத் தேற்றி, அவர்கள் சஞ்சலம் நீங்க அவர்களைச் சந்தோஷப்படுத்துவேன். Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

14 ஆசாரியரின் ஆத்துமாவைக் கொழுமையானவைகளினால் பூரிப்பாக்குவேன்; என் ஜனங்கள் நான் அளிக்கும் நன்மையினால் திருப்தியாவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.

15 ராமாவிலே புலம்பலும் கசப்பான அழுகையுமாகிய கூக்குரல் கேட்கப்பட்டது; ராகேல் தன் பிள்ளைகளுக்காக அழுது, தன் பிள்ளைகள் இல்லாதபடியால் அவைகளினிமித்தம் ஆறுதல் அடையாதிருக்கிறாள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

16 நீ அழாதபடிக்கு உன் சத்தத்தை அடக்கி, நீ கண்ணீர் விடாதபடிக்கு உன் கண்களைக் காத்துக்கொள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; உன் கிரியைக்குப் பலன் உண்டென்று; கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவர்கள் சத்துருவின் தேசத்திலிருந்து திரும்பிவருவார்கள். Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

17 உன் முடிவைப்பற்றி உனக்கு நம்பிக்கையுண்டு; உன் பிள்ளைகள் தங்கள் தேசத்துக்குத் திரும்பி வருவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

18 நீர் என்னைத் தண்டித்தீர், நான் பணியாத மாடுபோல் அடிக்கப்பட்டேன்; என்னைத் திருப்பும், அப்பொழுது திருப்பப்படுவேன்; நீரே என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.

19 நான் திரும்பினபின்பு மனஸ்தாபப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன், நான் என்னை அறிந்து கொண்டதற்குப் பின்பு விலாவில் அடித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன், வெட்கி நாணிக்கொண்டுமிருக்கிறேன், என் இளவயதின் நிந்தையைச் சுமந்து வருகிறேன் என்று எப்பிராயீம் துக்கித்துப் புலம்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறதை நிச்சயமாய்க்கேட்டேன். Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

20 எப்பிராயீம் எனக்கு அருமையான குமாரன் அல்லவோ? அவன் எனக்குப் பிரியமான பிள்ளையல்லவோ? அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப்பேசினது முதல் அவனை நினைத்துக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறேன்; ஆகையால் என் உள்ளம் அவனுக்காகக் கொதிக்கிறது; அவனுக்கு உருக்கமாய் இரங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

21 உனக்குக் குறிப்படையாளங்களை நிறுத்து; உனக்குத் தூண்களை நாட்டு; நீ நடந்த வழியாகிய பாதையின்மேல் உன் மனதை வை; இஸ்ரவேலாகிய குமாரத்தியே, திரும்பு; இந்த உன்னுடைய பட்டணங்களுக்கே திரும்பு. Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.

22 சீர்கெட்டுப்போன குமாரத்தியே, எந்தமட்டும் விலகித் திரிவாய்? கர்த்தர் பூமியிலே ஒரு புதுமையைச் சிருஷ்டிப்பார், ஸ்திரீயானவள் புருஷனைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளுவாள். How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

23 இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நான் அவர்கள் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பும்போது, அவர்கள்: நீதியின் வாசஸ்தலமே, பரிசுத்த பர்வதமே, கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கக் கடவரென்கிற வார்த்தையை யூதாவின் தேசத்திலும் அதின் பட்டணங்களிலும் சொல்லுவார்கள். Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

24 அதிலே யூதாவும், அதனுடைய எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களின் மனுஷரும் பயிரிடுங் குடிகளும், மந்தைகளை மேய்த்துத் திரிகிறவர்களும் ஏகமாய்க் குடியிருப்பார்கள். And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

25 நான் விடாய்த்த ஆத்துமாவைச் சம்பூரணமடையப்பண்ணி, தொய்ந்த எல்லா ஆத்துமாவையும் நிரப்புவேன். For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

26 இதற்காக நான் விழித்துப்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்; என் நித்திரை எனக்கு இன்பமாயிருந்தது. Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.

27 இதோ, நாட்கள் வருமென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார், அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தையும் யூதா குடும்பத்தையும் மனுஷவித்தினாலும், மிருகவித்தினாலும் விதைப்பேன். Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

28 அப்பொழுது நான் பிடுங்கவும் இடிக்கவும் நிர்மூலமாக்கவும் அழிக்கவும் தீங்குசெய்யவும் அவர்கள்பேரில் எப்படி ஜாக்கிரதையாயிருந்தேனோ, அப்படியே கட்டவும் நாட்டவும் அவர்கள் பேரில் ஜாக்கிரதையாயிருப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

29 பிதாக்கள் திராட்சக்காய்களைத் தின்றார்கள், பிள்ளைகளின் பற்கள் கூசிப்போயின என்று அந்நாட்களில் சொல்லமாட்டார்கள். In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

30 அவனவன் தன்தன் அக்கிரமத்தினிமித்தமே சாவான்; எந்த மனுஷன் திராட்சக்காய்களைத் தின்பானோ அவனுடைய பற்களே கூசிப்போகும். But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

31 இதோ நாட்கள் வருமென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார், அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தோடும் யூதா குடும்பத்தோடும் புது உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணுவேன். Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 நான் அவர்கள் பிதாக்களை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து அழைத்துவரக் கைப்பிடித்த நாளிலே, அவர்களோடே பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையின்படி அல்ல; ஏனெனில் நான் அவர்களுக்கு நாயகராயிருந்தும், அந்த என் உடன்படிக்கையை அவர்கள் மீறி அவமாக்கிப்போட்டார்களே என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

33 அந்நாட்களுக்குப் பிற்பாடு, நான் இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தோடே பண்ணப்போகிற உடன்படிக்கையாவது; நான் என் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை அவர்கள் உள்ளத்திலே வைத்து, அதை அவர்கள் இருதயத்திலே எழுதி, நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 இனி ஒருவன் தன் அயலானையும், ஒருவன் தன் சகோதரனையும் நோக்கி கர்த்தரை அறிந்துகொள் என்று போதிப்பதில்லை; அவர்களில் சிறியவன்முதல் பெரியவன்மட்டும், எல்லாரும் என்னை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நான் அவர்கள் அக்கிரமத்தை மன்னித்து, அவர்கள் பாவங்களை இனி நினையாதிருப்பேன். And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35 சூரியனைப் பகல் வெளிச்சத்துக்காகவும் சந்திர நட்சத்திர நியமங்களை இராவெளிச்சத்துக்காகவும் கட்டளையிட்டவரும், அலைகள் கொந்தளிக்கத்தக்கதாகச் சமுத்திரத்தைக் குலுக்குகிறவரும், சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் என்னும் நாமமுள்ளவருமாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

36 இந்த நியமங்கள் எனக்கு முன்பாக இல்லாதபடிக்கு ஒழிந்துபோனால் அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியும் எனக்கு முன்பாக என்றைக்கும் ஒரு ஜாதியாயிராதபடிக்கு அற்றுப்போம் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37 கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: மேலே இருக்கிற வானங்கள் அளக்கப்படவும், கீழே இருக்கிற பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் ஆராயப்படவும் கூடுமானால், நான் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் அனைவரையும் அவர்கள் செய்த எல்லாவற்றினிமித்தமும் வெறுத்துவிடுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

38 இதோ, நாட்கள் வருமென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அப்பொழுது இந்த நகரம், அனானெயேலின் கோபுரமுதல் கோடிவாசல்மட்டும் கர்த்தருக்கென்று கட்டப்படும். Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

39 அப்புறமும் அளவுநூல் அதற்கு எதிராய்க் காரெப் என்னும் மேட்டின்மேல் சென்று கோவாத் புறமாகச் சுற்றிப்போம். And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.

40 பிரேதங்களைப் புதைக்கிறதும், சாம்பலைக் கொட்டுகிறதுமான பள்ளத்தாக்கனைத்தும், கீதரோன் வாய்க்காலுக்கு இப்பாலே கிழக்கே இருக்கிற குதிரைவாசலின் கோடிமட்டும் உண்டான சகல நிலங்களும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்; அப்புறம் அது என்றென்றைக்கும் பிடுங்கப்படுவதுமில்லை இடிக்கப்படுவதுமில்லை என்கிறார். And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

1 Akkaalaththilae naan isravaelin vamsangalukkellaam thaevanaayiruppaen, avarkal en janamaayiruppaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

2 Pattaίththirkuth thappaο, meentha janam vanaantharaththil irakkam pettathu; isravaelukku ilaippaaraுthalaik kattalaiyidappokiraேn entu Karththar sollukiraar. Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

3 Poorvakaalamuthal Karththar engalukkuth tharisanaiyaanaar enpaay; aam anaathi sinaekaththaal unnaich sinaekiththaen; aathalaal kaarunniyaththaal unnai iluththukkollukiraேn. The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

4 Israel ennum kannikaiyae, maraுpatiyum unnaik kattuvippaen, nee kattappaduvaay; maraுpatiyum nee maelavaaththiyaththodum aadalpaadal seykiravarkalin kalippulla koottaththodum purappaduvaay. Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

5 Maraுpatiyum samaariyaavin malaikalilae thiraatchaththottangalai naattuvaay; naattukiravarkal avaikalai naatti, athin palanai anupavippaarkal. Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

6 Elunthirungal, seeyonil nammutaiya thaevanaakiya karththaridaththirkup povom vaarungal entu eppiraayeemin malaikalilulla jaamakkaarar kooraுngaalam varum. For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

7 Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: yaakkopinimiththam makilchchiyaayk kempeeriththu, jaathikalutaiya thalaivarinimiththam aarppariyungal; saththaththaik kaetkappannnni, thuthiththu: karththaavae, isravaelil meethiyaana umathu janaththai iratchiyum entu sollungal. For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

8 Itho, naan avarkalai vadathaesaththilirunthu varappannnni, avarkalaip poomiyin ellaikalilirunthu koottivaruvaen; kurudarum sappaannikalum, karppavathikalum, pillaith thaaychchikalungaூda avarkalil iruppaarkal; makaa koottamaay ivvidaththirkuth thirumpuvaarkal. Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

9 Alukaiyodum vinnnappangalodum varuvaarkal; avarkalai valinadaththuvaen; avarkalaith thannnneerulla nathikalanntaikku idaraatha semmaiyaana valiyilae nadakkappannnuvaen; isravaelukku naan pithaavaayirukkiraேn, eppeeraayeem en seshdapuththiranaayirukkiraan. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

10 Jaathikalae, neengal karththarutaiya vaarththaiyaik kaettu, thooraththilulla theevukalil ariviththu, isravaelaich sitharatiththavar athaich serththukkonndu, oru maeyppan than manthaiyaik kaakkumvannnamaaka athaik kaappaar entu sollungal. Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

11 Karththar yaakkopai meettu, avanilum palaththavanutaiya kaikku avanai neengalaakki viduvikkiraar. For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

12 Avarkal vanthu, seeyonin uchchiyilae kempeeriththu, Karththar arulum kothumai, thiraatcharasam, ennnney, aattukkuttikal, kantukkuttikal enpavaikalaakiya intha nanmaikalukkaaka otivaruvaarkal; avarkalutaiya aaththumaa neerppaaychchalaana thottampolirukkum; avarkal inith thoynthupovathillai. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

13 Appoluthu kannikaikalum, vaaliparum, muthiyorungaூda aananthakkalippaay makiluvaarkal; naan avarkal thukkaththaich santhoshamaaka maatti, avarkalaith thaetti, avarkal sanjalam neenga avarkalaich santhoshappaduththuvaen. Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

14 Aasaariyarin aaththumaavaik kolumaiyaanavaikalinaal poorippaakkuvaen; en janangal naan alikkum nanmaiyinaal thirupthiyaavaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.

15 Raamaavilae pulampalum kasappaana alukaiyumaakiya kookkural kaetkappattathu; raakael than pillaikalukkaaka aluthu, than pillaikal illaathapatiyaal avaikalinimiththam aaraுthal ataiyaathirukkiraal entu Karththar sollukiraar. Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

16 Nee alaathapatikku un saththaththai adakki, nee kannnneer vidaathapatikku un kannkalaik kaaththukkol entu Karththar sollukiraar; un kiriyaikkup palan unndentu; Karththar sollukiraar; avarkal saththuruvin thaesaththilirunthu thirumpivaruvaarkal. Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

17 Un mutivaippatti unakku nampikkaiyunndu; un pillaikal thangal thaesaththukkuth thirumpi varuvaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

18 Neer ennaith thanntiththeer, naan panniyaatha maadupol atikkappattaேn; ennaith thiruppum, appoluthu thiruppappaduvaen; neerae en thaevanaakiya Karththar. I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.

19 Naan thirumpinapinpu manasthaapappattukkonntirukkiraேn, naan ennai arinthu konndatharkup pinpu vilaavil atiththukkonntirukkiraேn, vetki naannikkonndumirukkiraேn, en ilavayathin ninthaiyaich sumanthu varukiraேn entu eppiraayeem thukkiththup pulampikkonntirukkirathai nichchayamaaykkaettaேn. Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

20 Eppiraayeem enakku arumaiyaana kumaaran allavo? Avan enakkup piriyamaana pillaiyallavo? Avanukku virothamaayppaesinathu muthal avanai ninaiththukkonntae irukkiraேn; aakaiyaal en ullam avanukkaakak kothikkirathu; avanukku urukkamaay iranguvaen entu Karththar sollukiraar Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

21 Unakkuk kurippataiyaalangalai niraுththu; unakkuth thoonnkalai naattu; nee nadantha valiyaakiya paathaiyinmael un manathai vai; isravaelaakiya kumaaraththiyae, thirumpu; intha unnutaiya pattanangalukkae thirumpu. Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.

22 Seerkettuppona kumaaraththiyae, enthamattum vilakith thirivaay? Karththar poomiyilae oru puthumaiyaich sirushtippaar, sthireeyaanaval purushanaich soolnthukolluvaal. How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

23 Isravaelin thaevanaakiya senaikalin Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: naan avarkal siraiyiruppaith thiruppumpothu, avarkal: neethiyin vaasasthalamae, Parisuththa parvathamae, Karththar unnai aaseervathikkak kadavarenkira vaarththaiyai yoothaavin thaesaththilum athin pattanangalilum solluvaarkal. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

24 Athilae yoothaavum, athanutaiya ellaap pattanangalin manusharum payiridung kutikalum, manthaikalai maeyththuth thirikiravarkalum aekamaayk kutiyiruppaarkal. And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

25 Naan vidaayththa aaththumaavaich sampooranamataiyappannnni, thoyntha ellaa aaththumaavaiyum nirappuvaen. For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

26 Itharkaaka naan viliththuppaarththukkonntirukkiraேn; en niththirai enakku inpamaayirunthathu. Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.

27 Itho, naatkal varumentu Karththar sollukiraar, appoluthu Israel kudumpaththaiyum yoothaa kudumpaththaiyum manushaviththinaalum, mirukaviththinaalum vithaippaen. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

28 Appoluthu naan pidungavum itikkavum nirmoolamaakkavum alikkavum theenguseyyavum avarkalpaeril eppati jaakkirathaiyaayirunthaeno, appatiyae kattavum naattavum avarkal paeril jaakkirathaiyaayiruppaen entu Karththar sollukiraar. And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

29 Pithaakkal thiraatchakkaaykalaith thintarkal, pillaikalin parkal koosippoyina entu annaatkalil sollamaattarkal. In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

30 Avanavan thanthan akkiramaththinimiththamae saavaan; entha manushan thiraatchakkaaykalaith thinpaano avanutaiya parkalae koosippokum. But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

31 Itho naatkal varumentu Karththar sollukiraar, appoluthu Israel kudumpaththodum yoothaa kudumpaththodum puthu udanpatikkai pannnuvaen. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Naan avarkal pithaakkalai ekipthu thaesaththilirunthu alaiththuvarak kaippitiththa naalilae, avarkalotae pannnnina udanpatikkaiyinpati alla; aenenil naan avarkalukku naayakaraayirunthum, antha en udanpatikkaiyai avarkal meeri avamaakkippottarkalae entu Karththar sollukiraar. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

33 Annaatkalukkup pirpaadu, naan Israel kudumpaththotae pannnappokira udanpatikkaiyaavathu; naan en niyaayappiramaanaththai avarkal ullaththilae vaiththu, athai avarkal iruthayaththilae eluthi, naan avarkal thaevanaayiruppaen, avarkal en janamaayiruppaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 Ini oruvan than ayalaanaiyum, oruvan than sakotharanaiyum Nnokki karththarai arinthukol entu pothippathillai; avarkalil siriyavanmuthal periyavanmattum, ellaarum ennai arinthukolvaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar; naan avarkal akkiramaththai manniththu, avarkal paavangalai ini ninaiyaathiruppaen. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35 Sooriyanaip pakal velichchaththukkaakavum santhira natchaththira niyamangalai iraavelichchaththukkaakavum kattalaiyittavarum, alaikal konthalikkaththakkathaakach samuththiraththaik kulukkukiravarum, senaikalin Karththar ennum naamamullavarumaakiya Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

36 Intha niyamangal enakku munpaaka illaathapatikku olinthuponaal appoluthu Israel santhathiyum enakku munpaaka entaikkum oru jaathiyaayiraathapatikku attaுppom entu Karththar sollukiraar: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37 Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: maelae irukkira vaanangal alakkappadavum, geelae irukkira poomiyin asthipaarangal aaraayappadavum koodumaanaal, naan Israel vamsaththaar anaivaraiyum avarkal seytha ellaavattinimiththamum veraுththuviduvaen entu Karththar sollukiraar. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

38 Itho, naatkal varumentu Karththar sollukiraar; appoluthu intha nakaram, anaaneyaelin kopuramuthal kotivaasalmattum karththarukkentu kattappadum. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

39 Appuramum alavunool atharku ethiraayk kaarep ennum maettinmael sentu kovaath puramaakach suttippom. And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.

40 Piraethangalaip puthaikkirathum, saampalaik kottukirathumaana pallaththaakkanaiththum, geetharon vaaykkaalukku ippaalae kilakkae irukkira kuthiraivaasalin kotimattum unndaana sakala nilangalum karththarukkup Parisuththamaayirukkum; appuram athu ententaikkum pidungappaduvathumillai itikkappaduvathumillai enkiraar. And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
