John 14 in Tamil

1 உங்கள் இருதயம் கலங்காதிருப்பதாக; தேவனிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருங்கள், என்னிடத்திலும் விசுவாசமாயிருங்கள். Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 என் பிதாவின் வீட்டில் அநேக வாசஸ்தலங்கள் உண்டு; அப்படியில்லாதிருந்தால், நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருப்பேன்; ஒரு ஸ்தலத்தை உங்களுக்காக ஆயத்தம்பண்ணப்போகிறேன். In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 நான் போய் உங்களுக்காக ஸ்தலத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினபின்பு, நான் இருக்கிற இடத்திலே நீங்களும் இருக்கும்படி, நான் மறுபடியும் வந்து உங்களை என்னிடத்தில் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுவேன். And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 நான் போகிற இடத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள், வழியையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள் என்றார். And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 தோமா அவரை நோக்கி ஆண்டவரே, நீர் போகிற இடத்தை அறியோமே, வழியை நாங்கள் எப்படி அறிவோம் என்றான். Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 அதற்கு இயேசு: நானே வழியும் சத்தியமும் ஜீவனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்; என்னாலேயல்லாமல் ஒருவனும் பிதாவினிடத்தில் வரான். Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 என்னை அறிந்தீர்களானால் என் பிதாவையும் அறிந்திருப்பீர்கள்; இதுமுதல் நீங்கள் அவரை அறிந்தும் அவரைக் கண்டும் இருக்கிறீர்கள் என்றார். If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 பிலிப்பு அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, பிதாவை எங்களுக்குக் காண்பியும், அது எங்களுக்குப் போதும் என்றான். Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 அதற்கு இயேசு: பிலிப்புவே, இவ்வளவுகாலம் நான் உங்களுடனேகூட இருந்தும் நீ என்னை அறியவில்லையா என்னைக் கண்டவன் பிதாவைக் கண்டான்; அப்படியிருக்க, பிதாவை எங்களுக்குக் காண்பியும் என்று நீ எப்படி சொல்லுகிறாய்? Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 நான் பிதாவிலும், பிதா என்னிலும் இருக்கிறதை நீ விசுவாசிக்கிறதில்லையா? நான் உங்களுடனே சொல்லுகிற வசனங்களை என் சுயமாய்ச் சொல்லவில்லை; என்னிடத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற பிதாவானவரே இந்தக் கிரியைகளைச் செய்துவருகிறார். Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 நான் பிதாவிலும் பிதா என்னிலும் இருக்கிறதை நம்புங்கள்; அப்படியில்லாவிட்டாலும் என் கிரியைகளினிமித்தமாவது என்னை நம்புங்கள். Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12 மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்; நான் என் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறபடியினால், என்னை விசுவாசிக்கிறவன் நான் செய்கிறகிரியைகளைத் தானும் செய்வான், இவைகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் பெரிய கிரியைகளையும் செய்வான். Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 நீங்கள் என் நாமத்தினாலே எதைக் கேட்பீர்களோ, குமாரனில் பிதா மகிமைப்படும்படியாக, அதைச் செய்வேன். And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 என் நாமத்தினாலே நீங்கள் எதைக்கேட்டாலும் அதை நான் செய்வேன். If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருந்தால் என் கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள். If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 நான் பிதாவை வேண்டிக்கொள்வேன், அபொழுது என்றென்றைக்கும் உங்களுடனேகூட இருக்கும்படிக்குச் சத்திய ஆவியாகிய வேறொரு தேற்றரவாளனை அவர் உங்களுக்குத் தந்தருளுவார். And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 உலகம் அந்தச் சத்திய ஆவியானவரைக் காணாமலும் அறியாமலும் இருக்கிறபடியால் அவரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டாது; அவர் உங்களுடனே வாசம்பண்ணி உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருப்பதால், நீங்கள் அவரை அறிவீர்கள். Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 நான் உங்களைத் திக்கற்றவர்களாக விடேன், உங்களிடத்தில் வருவேன். I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 இன்னும் கொஞ்சக்காலத்திலே உலகம் என்னைக் காணாது, நீங்களோ என்னைக் காண்பீர்கள்; நான் பிழைக்கிறபடியினால் நீங்களும் பிழைப்பீர்கள். Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 நான் என் பிதாவிலும், நீங்கள் என்னிலும், நான் உங்களிலும் இருக்கிறதை அந்நாளிலே நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள். At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 என் கற்பனைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு அவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்கிறவனே என்னிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறான், என்னிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறவன் என் பிதாவுக்கு அன்பாயிருப்பான்; நானும் அவனில் அன்பாயிருந்து, அவனுக்கு என்னை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்றார். He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 ஸ்காரியோத்தல்லாத யூதா என்பவன் அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, நீர் உலகத்துக்கு உம்மை வெளிப்படுத்தாமல் எங்களுக்கு உம்மை வெளிப்படுத்தப்போகிற காரணமென்ன என்றான். Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 இயேசு அவனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஒருவன் என்னில் அன்பாயிருந்தால், அவன் என் வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவான், அவனில் என் பிதா அன்பாயிருப்பார்; நாங்கள் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து அவனோடே வாசம்பண்ணுவோம். Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 என்னில் அன்பாயிராதவன் என் வசனங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளமாட்டான். நீங்கள் கேட்கிற வசனம் என்னுடையதாயிராமல் என்னை அனுப்பின பிதாவினுடையதாயிருக்கிறது. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

25 நான் உங்களுடனே தங்கியிருக்கையில் இவைகளை உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன். These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 என் நாமத்தினாலே பிதா அனுப்பப்போகிற பரிசுத்த ஆவியாகிய தேற்றரவாளனே எல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுக்குப் போதித்து, நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொன்ன எல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுக்கு நினைப்பூட்டுவார். But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 சமாதானத்தை உங்களுக்கு வைத்துப்போகிறேன், என்னுடைய சமாதானத்தையே உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன்; உலகம் கொடுக்கிறபிரகாரம் நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை. உங்கள் இருதயம் கலங்காமலும் பயப்படாமலுமிருப்பதாக. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28 நான் போவேன் என்றும், திரும்பி உங்களிடத்தில் வருவேன் என்றும் நான் உங்களுடனே சொன்னதைக் கேட்டீர்களே. நீங்கள் என்னில் அன்புள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தால் பிதாவினிடத்திற்குப் போகிறேனென்று நான் சொன்னதைக் குறித்துச் சந்தோஷப்படுவீர்கள், ஏனெனில் என் பிதா என்னிலும் பெரியவராயிருக்கிறார். Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

29 இது நடக்கும்போது நீங்கள் விசுவாசிக்கும்படியாக, நடப்பதற்குமுன்னமே இதை உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னேன். And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30 இனி நான் உங்களுடனே அதிகமாய் பேசுவதில்லை. இந்த உலகத்தின் அதிபதி வருகிறான். அவனுக்கு என்னிடத்தில் ஒன்றுமில்லை. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31 நான் பிதாவில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறேனென்றும், பிதா எனக்கு, கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்கிறேன் என்றும், உலகம் அறியும்படிக்கு இப்படி நடக்கும். எழுந்திருங்கள், இவ்விடம்விட்டுப் போவோம் வாருங்கள் என்றார். But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

1 Ungal iruthayam kalangaathiruppathaaka; thaevanidaththil visuvaasamaayirungal, ennidaththilum visuvaasamaayirungal. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 En pithaavin veettil anaeka vaasasthalangal unndu; appatiyillaathirunthaal, naan ungalukkuch solliyiruppaen; oru sthalaththai ungalukkaaka aayaththampannnappokiraேn. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 Naan poy ungalukkaaka sthalaththai aayaththampannnninapinpu, naan irukkira idaththilae neengalum irukkumpati, naan maraுpatiyum vanthu ungalai ennidaththil serththukkolluvaen. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 Naan pokira idaththai arinthirukkireerkal, valiyaiyum arinthirukkireerkal entar. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomaa avarai Nnokki aanndavarae, neer pokira idaththai ariyomae, valiyai naangal eppati arivom entan. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Atharku Yesu: naanae valiyum saththiyamum jeevanumaayirukkiraேn; ennaalaeyallaamal oruvanum pithaavinidaththil varaan. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 Ennai arintheerkalaanaal en pithaavaiyum arinthiruppeerkal; ithumuthal neengal avarai arinthum avaraik kanndum irukkireerkal entar. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Pilippu avarai Nnokki: aanndavarae, pithaavai engalukkuk kaannpiyum, athu engalukkup pothum entan. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Atharku Yesu: pilippuvae, ivvalavukaalam naan ungaludanaekooda irunthum nee ennai ariyavillaiyaa ennaik kanndavan pithaavaik kanndaan; appatiyirukka, pithaavai engalukkuk kaannpiyum entu nee eppati sollukiraay? Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 Naan pithaavilum, pithaa ennilum irukkirathai nee visuvaasikkirathillaiyaa? Naan ungaludanae sollukira vasanangalai en suyamaaych sollavillai; ennidaththil vaasamaayirukkira pithaavaanavarae inthak kiriyaikalaich seythuvarukiraar. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Naan pithaavilum pithaa ennilum irukkirathai nampungal; appatiyillaavittalum en kiriyaikalinimiththamaavathu ennai nampungal. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12 Meyyaakavae meyyaakavae naan ungalukkuch sollukiraேn; naan en pithaavinidaththirkup pokirapatiyinaal, ennai visuvaasikkiravan naan seykirakiriyaikalaith thaanum seyvaan, ivaikalaippaarkkilum periya kiriyaikalaiyum seyvaan. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 Neengal en naamaththinaalae ethaik kaetpeerkalo, kumaaranil pithaa makimaippadumpatiyaaka, athaich seyvaen. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 En naamaththinaalae neengal ethaikkaettalum athai naan seyvaen. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 Neengal ennidaththil anpaayirunthaal en karpanaikalaik kaikkollungal. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 Naan pithaavai vaenntikkolvaen, apoluthu ententaikkum ungaludanaekooda irukkumpatikkuch saththiya aaviyaakiya vaeroru thaettaravaalanai avar ungalukkuth thantharuluvaar. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Ulakam anthach saththiya aaviyaanavaraik kaannaamalum ariyaamalum irukkirapatiyaal avaraip pettaுkkollamaattathu; avar ungaludanae vaasampannnni ungalukkullae iruppathaal, neengal avarai ariveerkal. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 Naan ungalaith thikkattavarkalaaka vitaen, ungalidaththil varuvaen. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Innum konjakkaalaththilae ulakam ennaik kaannaathu, neengalo ennaik kaannpeerkal; naan pilaikkirapatiyinaal neengalum pilaippeerkal. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 Naan en pithaavilum, neengal ennilum, naan ungalilum irukkirathai annaalilae neengal ariveerkal. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 En karpanaikalaip pettaுkkonndu avaikalaik kaikkolkiravanae ennidaththil anpaayirukkiraan, ennidaththil anpaayirukkiravan en pithaavukku anpaayiruppaan; naanum avanil anpaayirunthu, avanukku ennai velippaduththuvaen entar. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Skaariyoththallaatha yoothaa enpavan avarai Nnokki: aanndavarae, neer ulakaththukku ummai velippaduththaamal engalukku ummai velippaduththappokira kaaranamenna entan. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Yesu avanukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: oruvan ennil anpaayirunthaal, avan en vasanaththaik kaikkolluvaan, avanil en pithaa anpaayiruppaar; naangal avanidaththil vanthu avanotae vaasampannnuvom. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 Ennil anpaayiraathavan en vasanangalaik kaikkollamaattan. Neengal kaetkira vasanam ennutaiyathaayiraamal ennai anuppina pithaavinutaiyathaayirukkirathu. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

25 Naan ungaludanae thangiyirukkaiyil ivaikalai ungalukkuch sonnaen. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 En naamaththinaalae pithaa anuppappokira Parisuththa aaviyaakiya thaettaravaalanae ellaavattaைyum ungalukkup pothiththu, naan ungalukkuch sonna ellaavattaைyum ungalukku ninaippoottuvaar. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Samaathaanaththai ungalukku vaiththuppokiraேn, ennutaiya samaathaanaththaiyae ungalukkuk kodukkiraேn; ulakam kodukkirapirakaaram naan ungalukkuk kodukkirathillai. Ungal iruthayam kalangaamalum payappadaamalumiruppathaaka. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28 Naan povaen entum, thirumpi ungalidaththil varuvaen entum naan ungaludanae sonnathaik kaettirkalae. Neengal ennil anpullavarkalaayirunthaal pithaavinidaththirkup pokiraேnentu naan sonnathaik kuriththuch santhoshappaduveerkal, aenenil en pithaa ennilum periyavaraayirukkiraar. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

29 Ithu nadakkumpothu neengal visuvaasikkumpatiyaaka, nadappatharkumunnamae ithai ungalukkuch sonnaen. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30 Ini naan ungaludanae athikamaay paesuvathillai. Intha ulakaththin athipathi varukiraan. Avanukku ennidaththil ontumillai. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31 Naan pithaavil anpaayirukkiraேnentum, pithaa enakku, kattalaiyittapatiyae seykiraேn entum, ulakam ariyumpatikku ippati nadakkum. Elunthirungal, ivvidamvittup povom vaarungal entar. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
