Judges 4 in Tamil

1 ஏகூத் மரணமடைந்தபின்பு இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் திரும்பக் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்துவந்தார்கள். And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.

2 ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் அவர்களை ஆத்சோரில் ஆளுகிற யாபீன் என்னும் கானானியருடைய ராஜாவின் கையிலே விற்றுப்போட்டார்; அவனுடைய சேனாபதிக்குச் சிசெரா என்று பேர்; அவன் புறஜாதிகளுடைய பட்டணமாகிய அரோசேத்திலே குடியிருந்தான். And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.

3 அவனுக்குத் தொளாயிரம் இருப்பு ரதங்கள் இருந்தது; அவன் இஸ்ரவேல்புத்திரரை இருபது வருஷம் கொடுமையாய் ஒடுக்கினான்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி முறையிட்டார்கள். And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.

4 அக்காலத்திலே லபிதோத்தின் மனைவியாகிய தெபொராள் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியானவள் இஸ்ரவேலை நியாயம் விசாரித்தாள். And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

5 அவள் எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசமான ராமாவுக்கும் பெத்தேலுக்கும் நடுவிலிருக்கிற தெபொராளின் பேரீச்சமரத்தின்கீழே குடியிருந்தாள்; அங்கே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் அவளிடத்திற்கு நியாயவிசாரணைக்குப் போவார்கள். And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

6 அவள் நப்தலியிலுள்ள கேதேசிலிருக்கிற அபினோகாமின் குமாரன் பாராக்கை வரவழைத்து; நீ நப்தலி புத்திரரிலும், செபுலோன் புத்திரரிலும் பதினாயிரம் பேரைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு தாபோர் மலைக்குப் போகக்கடவாய் என்றும், And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

7 நான் யாபீனின் சேனாபதியாகிய சிசெராவையும், அவன் ரதங்களையும், அவன் சேனையையும், கீசோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே உன்னிடத்திற்கு வர இழுத்து, அவனை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன் என்றும், இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடவில்லையா என்றாள். And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

8 அதற்குப் பாராக்; நீ என்னோடேகூட வந்தால் போவேன்; என்னோடே கூடவராவிட்டால், நான் போகமாட்டேன் என்றான். And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

9 அதற்கு அவள்: நான் உன்னோடேகூட நிச்சயமாய் வருவேன்; ஆனாலும் நீ போகிற பிரயாணத்தில் உண்டாகிற மேன்மை உனக்குக் கிடையாது; கர்த்தர் சிசெராவை ஒரு ஸ்திரீயின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார் என்று சொல்லி, தெபொராள் எழும்பி, பாராக்கோடேகூடக் கேதேசுக்குப் போனாள். And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honor; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

10 அப்பொழுது பாராக்: செபுலோன் மனுஷரையும் நப்தலி மனுஷரையும் கேதேசுக்கு வரவழைத்து, தன்னைப் பின்செல்லும் பதினாயிரம் பேரோடே போனான்; தெபொராளும் அவனோடேகூடப் போனாள். And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.

11 கேனியனான் ஏபேர் என்பவன் மோசேயின் மாமனாகிய ஒபாபின் புத்திரராயிருக்கிற கேனியரை விட்டுப்பிரிந்து, கேதேசின் கிட்ட இருக்கிற சானாயிம் என்னும் கர்வாலிமரங்கள் அருகே தன் கூடாரத்தைப் போட்டிருந்தான். Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.

12 அபினோகாமின் குமாரன் பாராக்தாபோர் மலையில் ஏறிப்போனான் என்று சிசெராவுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, And they showed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.

13 சிசெரா தொளாயிரம் இருப்புரதங்களாகிய தன்னுடைய எல்லாரதங்களையும், தன்னோடிருக்கும் எல்லா ஜனங்களையும், புறஜாதிகளின் பட்டணமாகிய அரோசேத்திலிருந்து கீசோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே வரவழைத்தான். And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.

14 அப்பொழுது தெபொராள் பாராக்கை நோக்கி: எழுந்துபோ; கர்த்தர் சிசெராவை உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும் நாள் இதுவே; கர்த்தர் உனக்கு முன்பாகப் புறப்படவில்லையா என்றாள்; அப்பொழுது பாராக்கும், அவன் பின்னாலே பதினாயிரம்பேரும், தாபோர் மலையிலிருந்து இறங்கினார்கள். And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

15 கர்த்தர் சிசெராவையும் அந்த எல்லா ரதங்களையும் சேனையனைத்தையும் பாராக்குக்கு முன்பாகப் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் கலங்கடித்தார்; சிசெரா ரதத்தைவிட்டிறங்கிக் கால்நடையாய் ஓடிப்போனான். And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.

16 பாராக் ரதங்களையும் சேனையையும் புறஜாதிகளுடைய அரோசேத்மட்டும் துரத்தினான்; சிசெராவின் சேனையெல்லாம் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் விழுந்தது; ஒருவனும் மீதியாயிருக்கவில்லை. But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.

17 சிசெரா கால்நடையாய்க் கேனியனான ஏபேரின் மனைவி யாகேலுடைய கூடாரத்திற்கு ஓடிவந்தான்; அப்பொழுது யாபீன் என்னும் ஆத்சோரின் ராஜாவுக்கும், கேனியனான ஏபேரின் வீட்டுக்கும் சமாதானம் உண்டாயிருந்தது. Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

18 யாகேல் வெளியே சிசெராவுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய்: உள்ளே வாரும்; என் ஆண்டவனே, என்னண்டை உள்ளே வாரும், பயப்படாதேயும் என்று அவனோடே சொன்னாள்; அப்படியே அவளண்டை கூடாரத்தில் உள்ளே வந்த போது, அவனை ஒரு சமுக்காளத்தினாலே மூடினாள். And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.

19 அவன் அவளைப் பார்த்து; குடிக்க எனக்குக் கொஞ்சம் தண்ணீர் தா, தாகமாயிருக்கிறேன் என்றான்; அவள் பால் துருத்தியைத் திறந்து, அவனுக்குக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்து, திரும்பவும் அவனை மூடினாள்; And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.

20 அப்பொழுது அவன்; நீ கூடாரவாசலிலே நின்று, யாராவது ஒருவன் வந்து, இங்கே யாராகிலும் இருக்கிறார்களா என்று உன்னிடத்தில் கேட்டால், இல்லை என்று சொல் என்றான். Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and inquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.

21 பின்பு ஏபேரின் மனைவியாகிய யாகேல் ஒரு கூடார ஆணியை எடுத்து, தன் கையிலே சுத்தியைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு, மெள்ள அவனண்டையில் வந்து, அவன் நெற்றியிலே அந்த ஆணியை அடித்துப்போட்டாள்; அது உருவிப்போய், தரையிலே புதைந்தது; அப்பொழுது ஆயாசமாய்த் தூங்கின அவன் செத்துப்போனான். Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.

22 பின்பு சிசெராவைத் தொடருகிற பாராக் வந்தான்; அப்பொழுது யாகேல் வெளியே அவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய்; வாரும், நீர் தேடுகிற மனுஷனை உமக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன் என்று சொன்னாள்; அவன் அவளிடத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, இதோ, சிசெரா செத்துக்கிடந்தான்; ஆணி அவன் நெறியில் அடித்திருந்தது. And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will show thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.

23 இப்படி தேவன் அந்நாளிலே கானானியரின் ராஜாவாகிய யாபீனை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்த்தினார். So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.

24 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் கை கானானியரின் ராஜாவாகிய யாபீனை நிர்மூலமாக்குமட்டும் அவன் மேல் பலத்துக் கொண்டேயிருந்தது. And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.

1 Aekooth maranamatainthapinpu Israel puththirar thirumpak karththarin paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythuvanthaarkal. And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.

2 Aakaiyaal Karththar avarkalai aathsoril aalukira yaapeen ennum kaanaaniyarutaiya raajaavin kaiyilae vittaுppottar; avanutaiya senaapathikkuch siseraa entu paer; avan purajaathikalutaiya pattanamaakiya aroseththilae kutiyirunthaan. And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.

3 Avanukkuth tholaayiram iruppu rathangal irunthathu; avan Israelpuththirarai irupathu varusham kodumaiyaay odukkinaan; Israel puththirar karththarai Nnokki muraiyittarkal. And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.

4 Akkaalaththilae lapithoththin manaiviyaakiya theporaal ennum theerkkatharisiyaanaval isravaelai niyaayam visaariththaal. And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

5 Aval eppiraayeem malaiththaesamaana raamaavukkum peththaelukkum naduvilirukkira theporaalin paereechchamaraththingeelae kutiyirunthaal; angae Israel puththirar avalidaththirku niyaayavisaarannaikkup povaarkal. And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

6 Aval napthaliyilulla kaethaesilirukkira apinokaamin kumaaran paaraakkai varavalaiththu; nee napthali puththirarilum, sepulon puththirarilum pathinaayiram paeraik koottikkonndu thaapor malaikkup pokakkadavaay entum, And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

7 Naan yaapeenin senaapathiyaakiya siseraavaiyum, avan rathangalaiyum, avan senaiyaiyum, geeson pallaththaakkilae unnidaththirku vara iluththu, avanai un kaiyil oppukkoduppaen entum, isravaelin thaevanaakiya Karththar unakkuk kattalaiyidavillaiyaa ental. And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

8 Atharkup paaraak; nee ennotaekooda vanthaal povaen; ennotae koodavaraavittal, naan pokamaattaேn entan. And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

9 Atharku aval: naan unnotaekooda nichchayamaay varuvaen; aanaalum nee pokira pirayaanaththil unndaakira maenmai unakkuk kitaiyaathu; Karththar siseraavai oru sthireeyin kaiyil oppukkoduppaar entu solli, theporaal elumpi, paaraakkotaekoodak kaethaesukkup ponaal. And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.

11 Kaeniyanaan aepaer enpavan Mosesyin maamanaakiya opaapin puththiraraayirukkira kaeniyarai vittuppirinthu, kaethaesin kitta irukkira saanaayim ennum karvaalimarangal arukae than koodaaraththaip pottirunthaan. Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.

12 Apinokaamin kumaaran paaraakthaapor malaiyil aeripponaan entu siseraavukku arivikkappattapothu, And they showed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.

13 Siseraa tholaayiram iruppurathangalaakiya thannutaiya ellaarathangalaiyum, thannotirukkum ellaa janangalaiyum, purajaathikalin pattanamaakiya aroseththilirunthu geeson pallaththaakkilae varavalaiththaan. And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.

14 Appoluthu theporaal paaraakkai Nnokki: elunthupo; Karththar siseraavai un kaiyil oppukkodukkum naal ithuvae; Karththar unakku munpaakap purappadavillaiyaa ental; appoluthu paaraakkum, avan pinnaalae pathinaayirampaerum, thaapor malaiyilirunthu iranginaarkal. And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

15 Karththar siseraavaiyum antha ellaa rathangalaiyum senaiyanaiththaiyum paaraakkukku munpaakap pattayakkarukkinaal kalangatiththaar; siseraa rathaththaivittirangik kaalnataiyaay otipponaan. And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.

16 Paaraak rathangalaiyum senaiyaiyum purajaathikalutaiya arosethmattum thuraththinaan; siseraavin senaiyellaam pattayakkarukkinaal vilunthathu; oruvanum meethiyaayirukkavillai. But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.

17 Siseraa kaalnataiyaayk kaeniyanaana aepaerin manaivi yaakaelutaiya koodaaraththirku otivanthaan; appoluthu yaapeen ennum aathsorin raajaavukkum, kaeniyanaana aepaerin veettukkum samaathaanam unndaayirunthathu. Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

18 Yaakael veliyae siseraavukku ethirkonndupoy: ullae vaarum; en aanndavanae, ennanntai ullae vaarum, payappadaathaeyum entu avanotae sonnaal; appatiyae avalanntai koodaaraththil ullae vantha pothu, avanai oru samukkaalaththinaalae mootinaal. And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.

19 Avan avalaip paarththu; kutikka enakkuk konjam thannnneer thaa, thaakamaayirukkiraேn entan; aval paal thuruththiyaith thiranthu, avanukkuk kutikkakkoduththu, thirumpavum avanai mootinaal; And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.

20 Appoluthu avan; nee koodaaravaasalilae nintu, yaaraavathu oruvan vanthu, ingae yaaraakilum irukkiraarkalaa entu unnidaththil kaettal, illai entu sol entan. Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and inquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.

21 Pinpu aepaerin manaiviyaakiya yaakael oru koodaara aanniyai eduththu, than kaiyilae suththiyaip pitiththuk konndu, mella avananntaiyil vanthu, avan nettiyilae antha aanniyai atiththuppottal; athu uruvippoy, tharaiyilae puthainthathu; appoluthu aayaasamaayth thoongina avan seththupponaan. Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.

22 Pinpu siseraavaith thodarukira paaraak vanthaan; appoluthu yaakael veliyae avanukku ethirkonndupoy; vaarum, neer thaedukira manushanai umakkuk kaannpippaen entu sonnaal; avan avalidaththirku vanthapothu, itho, siseraa seththukkidanthaan; aanni avan neriyil atiththirunthathu. And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will show thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.

23 Ippati Dhevan annaalilae kaanaaniyarin raajaavaakiya yaapeenai Israel puththirarukku munpaakath thaalththinaar. So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.

24 Israel puththirarin kai kaanaaniyarin raajaavaakiya yaapeenai nirmoolamaakkumattum avan mael palaththuk konntaeyirunthathu. And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
