1 Chronicles 19 in Tamil

1 அதன்பின்பு, அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் ராஜாவாகிய நாகாஸ் மரித்து, அவன் குமாரன் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his stead.

2 அப்பொழுது தாவீது: ஆனூனின் தகப்பனாகிய நாகாஸ் எனக்குத் தயவுசெய்ததுபோல, நானும் அவன் குமாரனாகிய இவனுக்குத் தயவுசெய்வேன் என்று சொல்லி, அவன் தகப்பனுக்காக அவனுக்கு ஆறுதல்சொல்ல ஸ்தானாபதிகளை அனுப்பினான்; தாவீதின் ஊழியக்காரர் ஆனூனுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்ல அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் தேசத்திலே வந்தபோது, And David said, I will show kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father showed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.

But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honor thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?

Wherefore Hanun took David's servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away.

7 முப்பத்தீராயிரம் இரதங்களையும், மாக்காவின் ராஜாவையும், அவன் ஜனத்தையும் கூலிப்படையாக அழைப்பித்தான்; இவர்கள் வந்து, மேதேபாவுக்கு முன்புறத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்; அம்மோன் புத்திரரும் தங்கள் பட்டணங்களிலிருந்து கூடிக்கொண்டு யுத்தம்பண்ண வந்தார்கள். So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle.

8 அதைத் தாவீது கேட்டபோது, யோவாபையும் பலசாலிகளின் இராணுவம் முழுவதையும் அனுப்பினான். And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.

9 அம்மோன் புத்திரர் புறப்பட்டுவந்து, பட்டணத்து வாசலண்டையில் அணிவகுத்தார்கள்; வந்த ராஜாக்கள் தனித்து வெளியிலே போருக்கு ஆயத்தமாய் நின்றார்கள். And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.

10 யுத்த இராணுவங்களின் முகப்புத் தனக்கு முன்னும் பின்னும் இருக்கிறதை யோவாப் கண்டு, அவன் இஸ்ரவேலிலே தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட அனைவரிலும் ஒரு பங்கைப் பிரித்தெடுத்து, அதைச் சீரியருக்கு எதிராக நிறுத்தி, Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.

12 என்னைப்பார்க்கிலும் சீரியர் பலங்கொண்டால் நீ எனக்குத் துணைநில்; உன்னைப்பார்க்கிலும் அம்மோன் புத்திரர் பலங்கொண்டால் நான் உனக்குத் துணைநிற்பேன். And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

13 தைரியமாயிரு; நாம் நம்முடைய ஜனத்திற்காகவும், நமது தேவனுடைய பட்டணங்களுக்காகவும் திடன்கொண்டிருக்கக்கடவோம்; கர்த்தர் தமது பார்வைக்கு நலமானதைச் செய்வாராக என்றான். Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.

14 பின்பு யோவாபும் அவனோடிருந்த ஜனமும் சீரியரோடு யுத்தம்பண்ணச் சேர்ந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் அவனுக்கு முன்பாக முறிந்தோடினார்கள். So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him.

And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, they likewise fled before Abishai his brother, and entered into the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem.

But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.

And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.

1 Athanpinpu, ammon puththirarin raajaavaakiya naakaas mariththu, avan kumaaran avan sthaanaththil raajaavaanaan. Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his stead.

2 Appoluthu David: aanoonin thakappanaakiya naakaas enakkuth thayavuseythathupola, naanum avan kumaaranaakiya ivanukkuth thayavuseyvaen entu solli, avan thakappanukkaaka avanukku aaraுthalsolla sthaanaapathikalai anuppinaan; thaaveethin ooliyakkaarar aanoonukku aaraுthal solla ammon puththirarin thaesaththilae vanthapothu, And David said, I will show kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father showed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.

3 Ammon puththirarin pirapukkal aanoonaip paarththu: David aaraுthal sollukiravarkalai ummidaththil anuppinathu, ummutaiya thakappanaik kanampannnukirathaay umakkuth thontukiratho? Thaesaththai aaraayavum, athaik kavilththuppodavum, ulavupaarkkavum allavo, avan ooliyakkaarar ummidaththil vanthaarkal entu sonnaarkal. But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honor thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?

Wherefore Hanun took David's servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away.

5 Antha manushar varukaiyil, avarkal seythi Davidkku arivikkappattathu; appoluthu antha manushar mikavum vetkappattapatiyinaal, avarkalukku ethiraaka raajaa aatkalai anuppi: ungal thaati valarumattum neengal erikovilirunthu pirpaadu vaarungal entu sollachchaொnnaan. Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them: for the men were greatly ashamed. 6 Ammon puththirar thaangal Davidkku aruvaruppaanathaik kanndapothu, aanoonum ammon puththirarum mesoppoththaamiyaavilum maakkaa sopaa ennum seeriyarin thaesaththilumirunthu thangalukku irathangalum kuthiraiveerarum koolikku varumpati aayiramthaalanthu velliyaiyum anuppi, And when the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Syriamaachah, and out of Zobah.

7 Muppaththeeraayiram irathangalaiyum, maakkaavin raajaavaiyum, avan janaththaiyum koolippataiyaaka alaippiththaan; ivarkal vanthu, maethaepaavukku munpuraththilae paalayamiranginaarkal; ammon puththirarum thangal pattanangalilirunthu kootikkonndu yuththampannna vanthaarkal. So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle.

8 Athaith David kaettapothu, yovaapaiyum palasaalikalin iraanuvam muluvathaiyum anuppinaan. And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.

9 Ammon puththirar purappattuvanthu, pattanaththu vaasalanntaiyil annivakuththaarkal; vantha raajaakkal thaniththu veliyilae porukku aayaththamaay nintarkal. And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.

10 Yuththa iraanuvangalin mukapputh thanakku munnum pinnum irukkirathai yovaap kanndu, avan isravaelilae therinthukollappatta anaivarilum oru pangaip piriththeduththu, athaich seeriyarukku ethiraaka niraுththi, Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.

11 Matta janaththai ammon puththirarukku ethiraakap porukku aayaththappaduththi, than sakotharanaakiya apisaayikku oppuviththu, avanai Nnokki: And the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves in array against the children of Ammon.

12 Ennaippaarkkilum seeriyar palangaொnndaal nee enakkuth thunnainil; unnaippaarkkilum ammon puththirar palangaொnndaal naan unakkuth thunnainirpaen. And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

13 Thairiyamaayiru; naam nammutaiya janaththirkaakavum, namathu thaevanutaiya pattanangalukkaakavum thidankonntirukkakkadavom; Karththar thamathu paarvaikku nalamaanathaich seyvaaraaka entan. 14 Pinpu yovaapum avanotiruntha janamum seeriyarodu yuththampannnach sernthaarkal; avarkal avanukku munpaaka murinthotinaarkal. So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him.

15 Seeriyar murinthodukirathai ammon puththirar kanndapothu, avarkalum avan sakotharanaakiya apisaayikku munpaaka murinthotip pattanaththirku utpattarkal; yovaap thirumpa erusalaemukku vanthaan. And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, they likewise fled before Abishai his brother, and entered into the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem.

16 Thaangal isravaelukku munpaaka muriya atikkappattathaik kanndapothu, avarkal nathikku appuraththilirukkira seeriyarai varavalaiththaarkal; aathaaraesarin pataiththalaivanaakiya soppaak avarkalukku munnaalae nadanthuponaan. And when the Syrians saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the river: and Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before them.

17 Athu Davidkku arivikkappattathu, avan isravaelaik koottikkonndu, yorthaanaik kadanthu, avarkalukkuch sameepamaay vanthapothu, avarkalukku ethiraaka iraanuvangalai niraுththinaarkal; David seeriyarukku ethiraaka iraanuvangalaip porukku aayaththappaduththinapin avanodu yuththampannnninaarkal. And it was told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him.

18 Seeriyar isravaelukku munpaaka murinthotinaarkal; David seeriyarilae aayiram irathangalin manusharaiyum, naarpathinaayiram kaalaatkalaiyum kontu, pataiththalaivanaakiya soppaakkaiyum kontan. But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians seven thousand men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.

19 Thaangal isravaelukku munpaakamuriya atikkappattathai aathaaraesarin sevakar kanndapothu avarkal thaaveethotae samaathaanampannnni, avanaich seviththaarkal; appuram ammon puththirarukku uthaviseyya seeriyar manathillaathirunthaarkal. And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.
