இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் இனி என்னைவிட்டு வழிதப்பிப்போகாமலும், தங்கள் எல்லா மீறுதல்களாலும் இனி அசுசிப்படாமலும் இருக்கும் பொருட்டாக இப்படிச் சம்பவிக்கும்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள், நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் இனி என்னைவிட்டு வழிவிலகிப்போகாமலும், தங்களுடைய எல்லா மீறுதல்களாலும் இனி அசுத்தப்படாமலும் இருக்கும்படியாக இப்படி நேரிடும்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் என்னுடைய மக்களாக இருப்பார்கள், நான் அவர்களுடைய தேவனாக இருப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

ஏன்? எனது ஜனங்களை என்னிடமிருந்து வழிதப்பிப் போக அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் தூண்டுவதை உற்சாகப்படுத்தவேண்டும். எனவே எனது ஜனங்கள் அவர்கள் பாவங்களால் அசுத்தமாகாமல் தடுக்கப்படுவார்கள். பின்னர் அவர்கள் எனது சிறப்புக்குரிய ஜனங்களாவார்கள். நான் அவர்களின் தேவனாய் இருப்பேன்.’” எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இவற்றைச் சொன்னார்.
