அவன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது முப்பத்திரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, எட்டு வருஷம் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டு, விரும்புவாரில்லாமல் இறந்துபோனான்; அவனைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் ராஜாக்களின் கல்லறைகளில் அவனை வைக்கவில்லை.

years, שָׁנִ֔ים šāne sha-NEH
and he reigned מָלַ֖ךְ mālak ma-LAHK
in Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם yĕrûšālaim yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
and departed וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ hālak ha-LAHK
without בְּלֹ֣א lōʾ loh
being desired. חֶמְדָּ֔ה ḥemdâ hem-DA
Howbeit they buried וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻ֙הוּ֙ qābar ka-VAHR
him in the city בְּעִ֣יר ʿîr eer
of David, דָּוִ֔יד dāwid da-VEED
but not וְלֹ֖א lōʾ loh
in the sepulchres בְּקִבְר֥וֹת qeber keh-VER
of the kings. הַמְּלָכִֽים׃ melek meh-LEK
