Psalm 46 - ASV (Tamil)

1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.தேவன் நமக்கு அடைக்கலமும் பெலனும், ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் அநுகூலமுமான துணையுமானவர்.

2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas;ஆகையால் பூமி நிலைமாறினாலும், மலைகள் நடுச்சமுத்திரத்தில் சாய்ந்துபோனாலும்,

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof. Selahஅதின் ஜலங்கள் கொந்தளித்துப் பொங்கி, அதின் பெருக்கினால் பர்வதங்கள் அதிர்ந்தாலும், நாம் பயப்படோம். (சேலா.)

4 There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.ஒரு நதியுண்டு, அதின் நீர்க்கால்கள் தேவனுடைய நகரத்தையும், உன்னதமானவர் வாசம்பண்ணும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தையும் சந்தோஷிப்பிக்கும்,

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.தேவன் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிறார், அது அசையாது; அதிகாலையிலே தேவன் அதற்குச் சகாயம்பண்ணுவார்.

6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted.ஜாதிகள் கொந்தளித்தது, ராஜ்யங்கள் தத்தளித்தது; அவர் தமது சத்தத்தை முழங்கப்பண்ணினார், பூமி உருகிப்போயிற்று.

7 Jehovah of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selahசேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் நமக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமானவர். (சேலா.)

8 Come, behold the works of Jehovah, What desolations he hath made in the earth.பூமியிலே பாழ்க்கடிப்புகளை நடப்பிக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய செய்கைகளை வந்து பாருங்கள்.

9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire.அவர் பூமியின் கடைமுனைமட்டும் யுத்தங்களை ஓயப்பண்ணுகிறார்; வில்லை ஒடித்து ஈட்டியை முறிக்கிறார்; இரதங்களை நெருப்பினால் சுட்டெரிக்கிறார்.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.நீங்கள் அமர்ந்திருந்து, நானே தேவனென்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உயர்ந்திருப்பேன், பூமியிலே உயர்ந்திருப்பேன்.
