Psalm 55 - BBE (Tamil)

1 <To the chief music-maker, on Neginoth. Maschil. Of David.> Give hearing to my prayer, O God; and let not your ear be shut against my request.தேவனே, என் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டருளும்; என் விண்ணப்பத்திற்கு மறைந்திராதேயும்.

2 Give thought to me, and let my prayer be answered: I have been made low in sorrow;எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, உத்தரவு அருளிச்செய்யும் சத்துருவினுடைய கூக்குரலினிமித்தமும், துன்மார்க்கர் செய்யும் இடுக்கத்தினிமித்தமும் என் தியானத்தில் முறையிடுகிறேன்.

3 I am troubled because of the voice of the cruel ones, because of the loud cry of the evil-doers; for they put a weight of evil on me, and they are cruel in their hate for me.அவர்கள் என்மேல் பழிசாட்டி, குரோதங்கொண்டு, என்னைப் பகைக்கிறார்கள்.

4 My heart is deeply wounded, and the fear of death has come on me.என் இருதயம் எனக்குள் வியாகுலப்படுகிறது; மரணத்திகில் என்மேல் விழுந்தது.

5 Fear and shaking have come over me, with deep fear I am covered.பயமும் நடுக்கமும் என்னைப் பிடித்தது; அருக்களிப்பு என்னை மூடிற்று.

6 And I said, If only I had wings like a dove! for then I would go in flight from here and be at rest.அப்பொழுது நான்: ஆ, எனக்குப் புறாவைப்போல் சிறகுகள் இருந்தால், நான் பறந்துபோய் இளைப்பாறுவேன்.

7 I would go wandering far away, living in the waste land. (Selah.)நான் தூரத்தில் அலைந்து திரிந்து வனாந்தரத்தில் தங்கியிருப்பேன். (சேலா.)

8 I would quickly take cover from the driving storm and from the violent wind.பெருங்காற்றுக்கும் புசலுக்கும் தப்பத் தீவிரித்துக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்றேன்.

9 Send destruction on them, O Lord, make a division of tongues among them: for I have seen fighting and violent acts in the town.ஆண்டவரே, அவர்களை அழித்து, அவர்கள் பாஷையைப் பிரிந்துபோகப்பண்ணும்; கொடுமையையும் சண்டையையும் நகரத்திலே கண்டேன்;

10 By day and night they go round the town, on the walls; trouble and sorrow are in the heart of it.அவைகள் இரவும் பகலும் அதின் மதில்கள்மேல் சுற்றித்திரிகிறது; அக்கிரமமும் வாதையும் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிறது;

11 Evil is there; cruel rule and deceit are ever in the streets.கேடுபாடுகள் அதின் நடுவிலிருக்கிறது; கொடுமையும் கபடும் அதின் வீதியை விட்டு விலகிப்போகிறதில்லை.

12 For it was not my hater who said evil of me; that would have been no grief to me; it was not one outside the number of my friends who made himself strong against me, or I would have kept myself from him in a secret place;என்னை நிந்தித்தவன் சத்துரு அல்ல, அப்படியிருந்தால் சகிப்பேன்; எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமைபாராட்டினவன் என் பகைஞன் அல்ல, அப்படியிருந்தால் அவனுக்கு மறைந்திருப்பேன்.

13 But it was you, my equal, my guide, my well-loved friend.எனக்குச் சமமான மனுஷனும், என் வழிகாட்டியும், என் தோழனுமாகிய நீயே அவன்.

14 We had loving talk together, and went to the house of God in company.நாம் ஒருமித்து, இன்பமான ஆலோசனைபண்ணி, கூட்டத்தோடே தேவாலயத்துக்குப் போனோம்.

15 Let the hand of death come on them suddenly, and let them go down living into the underworld; because evil is in their houses and in their hearts.மரணம் அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து பிடிப்பதாக; அவர்கள் உயிரோடே பாதாளத்தில் இறங்குவார்களாக; அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலங்களிலும் அவர்கள் உள்ளத்திலும் பொல்லாங்கு இருக்கிறது.

16 As for me, I will make my prayer to God, and he will be my saviour.நானோ தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; கர்த்தர் என்னை இரட்சிப்பார்.

17 In the evening and in the morning and in the middle of the day I will make my prayer with sounds of grief; and my voice will come to his ears.அந்திசந்தி மத்தியான வேளைகளிலும் நான் தியானம்பண்ணி முறையிடுவேன்; அவர் என் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பார்.

18 He has taken my soul away from the attack which was made against me, and given it peace; for great numbers were against me.திரளான கூட்டமாய்க் கூடி என்னோடு எதிர்த்தார்கள்; அவரே எனக்கு நேரிட்ட போரை நீக்கி, என் ஆத்துமாவைச் சமாதானத்துடன் மீட்டுவிட்டார்.

19 God will give thought to me; he who from early times is strong will send pain and trouble on them. (Selah.) Because they are unchanged, they have no fear of God.ஆதிமுதலாய் வீற்றிருக்கிற தேவன் கேட்டு, அவர்களுக்குப் பதிலளிப்பார்; அவர்களுக்கு மாறுதல்கள் நேரிடாததினால், அவர்கள் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படாமற்போகிறார்கள். (சேலா.)

20 He has put out his hand against those who were at peace with him; he has not kept his agreement.அவன் தன்னோடே சமாதானமாயிருந்தவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் தன் கையை நீட்டி, தன் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறி நடந்தான்.

21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, but they were sharp swords.அவன் வாயின் சொற்கள் வெண்ணெயைப்போல மெதுவானவைகள், அவன் இருதயமோ யுத்தம்; அவன் வார்த்தைகள் எண்ணெயிலும் மிருதுவானவைகள், ஆனாலும் அவைகள் உருவின பட்டயங்கள்.

22 Put your cares on the Lord, and he will be your support; he will not let the upright man be moved.கர்த்தர்மேல் உன் பாரத்தைவைத்துவிடு, அவர் உன்னை ஆதரிப்பார்; நீதிமானை ஒருபோதும் தள்ளாடவொட்டார்.

23 But you, O God, will send them down into the underworld; the cruel and the false will be cut off before half their days are ended; but I will have faith in you.தேவனே, நீர் அவர்களை அழிவின் குழியில் இறங்கப்பண்ணுவீர்; இரத்தப்பிரியரும் சூதுள்ள மனுஷரும் தங்கள் ஆயுளின் நாட்களில் பாதிவரையிலாகிலும் பிழைத்திருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; நானோ உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
