இதுவுமல்லாமல், மரித்தவனுடைய சகோதரருக்குள்ளும், ஊராருக்குள்ளும், அவனுடைய பேர் அற்றுப் போகாமல், மரித்தவனுடைய சுதந்தரத்திலே அவன் பேரை நிலைநிறுத்த, நான் மக்லோனின் மனைவியாயிருந்த மோவாபிய ஸ்திரீயான ரூத்தை எனக்கு மனைவியாகக் கொண்டேன்; அதற்கும் இன்றைய தினம் நீங்கள் சாட்சி என்றான்.

the name שֵׁם šēm shame
of the dead הַמֵּת֙ mût moot
upon עַל ʿal al
his inheritance, נַ֣חֲלָת֔וֹ naḥălâ na-huh-LA
be not וְלֹֽא lōʾ loh
cut off יִכָּרֵ֧ת kārat ka-RAHT
that the name שֵׁם šēm shame
of the dead הַמֵּ֛ת mût moot
from among מֵעִ֥ם ʿim eem
his brethren, אֶחָ֖יו ʾāḥ ak
and from the gate וּמִשַּׁ֣עַר šaʿar sha-AR
of his place: מְקוֹמ֑וֹ māqôm ma-KOME
witnesses עֵדִ֥ים ʿēd ade
ye אַתֶּ֖ם ʾattâ ah-TA
this day. הַיּֽוֹם׃ yôm yome
