இப்போதும், இதோ, இஸ்ரவேலர் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து வருகிறபோது, அம்மோன் புத்திரர், மோவாபியர், சேயீர் மலைத்தேசத்தாருடைய சீமைகள் வழியாய்ப் போக நீர் உத்தரவு கொடுக்கவில்லை; ஆகையால் அவர்களை விட்டுவிலகி, அவர்களை நாசப்படுத்தாதிருந்தார்கள்.

and Moab	וּמוֹאָ֜ב	môʾāb	moh-AV
and mount	וְהַר	har	hahr
Seir,	שֵׂעִ֗יר	śēʿîr	say-EER
whom	אֲ֠שֶׁר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
thou wouldest not	לֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
let	נָתַ֤תָּה	nātan	na-TAHN
Israel	לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
invade,	לָב֣וֹא	bôʾ	boh
	בָהֶ֔ם
when they came out	בְּבֹאָ֖ם	bôʾ	boh
of the land	מֵאֶ֣רֶץ	ʾereṣ	eh-RETS
of Egypt,	מִצְרָ֑יִם	miṣrayim	meets-ra-YEEM
but	כִּ֛י	kî	kee
they turned	סָ֥רוּ	sûr	soor
from	מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם	ʿal	al
them not;	וְלֹ֥א	lōʾ	loh
them, and destroyed	הִשְׁמִידֽוּם׃	šāmad	sha-MAHD
