நான் உரைக்காதிருந்தும், நீங்கள் கர்த்தர் உரைத்தார் என்று சொல்லும்போது, அபத்தமான தரிசனையைத் தரிசித்து, பொய்க்குறியைச் சொல்லுகிறீர்கள் அல்லவா?

“‘பொய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளே, நீங்கள் கண்ட தரிசனங்களெல்லாம் உண்மையல்ல. நீங்கள் உங்கள் மந்திரங்களைச் செய்தீர்கள். சில நிகழும் என்றீர்கள். ஆனால் நீங்கள் பொய் சொன்னீர்கள்! கர்த்தர் அவற்றைக் கூறியதாக நீங்கள் சொன்னீர்கள். ஆனால் நான் உங்களிடம் பேசவில்லை!’”

a vain שָׁוְא֙ šow shove
seen חֲזִיתֶ֔ם ḥāzâ ha-ZA
divination, וּמִקְסַ֥ם miqsām meek-SAHM
a lying כָּזָ֖ב kāzāb ka-ZAHV
and have ye not spoken אֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם dābar da-VAHR
whereas ye say, וְאֹֽמְרִים֙ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
saith נְאֻם nĕʾum neh-OOM
