நான் எருசலேமிலே அப்பம் என்னும் ஆதரவுகோலை முறிக்கிறேன்; அவர்கள் அப்பத்தை நிறையின்படியே விசாரத்தோடே சாப்பிட்டு, தண்ணீரை அளவின்படியே திடுக்கிடுதலோடே குடிப்பார்கள்.

ஏனென்றால், ஜனங்களுக்குப் போதிய அளவு உணவும் தண்ணீரும் இருக்காது. ஜனங்கள் தமது பாவங்களுக்காக, ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பயந்து வாடிப் போவார்கள்.

இதனால் அப்பமும் தண்ணீரும் அவர்களுக்குக் குறைந்து கொண்டே போக, ஒவ்வொருவரும் தம் சகோதரை அவநம்பிக்கையோடு பார்த்துத் தம் குற்றப்பழியை முன்னிட்டு நலிந்து போவர்.
