இதுவே தேவனால் துன்மார்க்கனுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் பங்கும் அவன் செய்கைக்கு தேவனால் அவனுக்குவரும் சுதந்தரமுமாம் என்றான்.

யோபு 27:13
பொல்லாத மனுஷனுக்கு தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து வருகிற பங்கும், கொடூரக்காரர் சர்வவல்லவரால் அடைகிற சுதந்தரமும் என்னவெனில்,

யோபு 31:2
அப்பொழுது உன்னதங்களிலிருந்து தேவன் அளிக்கும் பங்கும் உன்னதத்திலிருந்து சர்வவல்லவர் கொடுக்கும் சுதந்தரமும் கிடைக்குமோ?

யோபு 18:21
அக்கிரமக்காரன் குடியிருந்த ஸ்தானங்கள் இவைகள்தான்; தேவனை அறியாமற்போனவனுடைய ஸ்தலம் இதுவே என்பார்கள் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தரின் கோபமும் எரிச்சலும் அந்த மனிதன்மேல் புகையும்; இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிற சாபங்களெல்லாம் அவன்மேல் தங்கும்; கர்த்தர் அவன் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்குக் குலைத்துப்போடுவார்.
